  1. Say goodnite to yer flywheel if that clutch is ceramic, bit overkill on the power yours will make.
  2. Reebok "classic" are the original aggro trainer and the preferred choice for yobs in Bristol.Bad rep where i come from,if someone wears Classics or K Swiss you know they are probaly a crim and would rob you in an instant.
  3. No mate, your fuel pressure should be fine using a stock fpr. They are good for 700hp.It may be worth swapping yours with a known good one though. You could get the car on a dyno to see what its doing also.
  4. SLS  a showroom a mile from me has one,its white which is a shame but jesus its sexy.
  5. Despite the fact the advert is shocking and the car looks chavtastic it still cheers me up to see people asking decent money for zeds as they have got themselves a bad image imho and this will kill prices.it was a luxury Gt car that cost almost £40k so should still be worth that in reality. When you look at Supra prices it puts it into perspective.Im longing for the time when all the nails are gone and prices creep back up.Be years yet though.
  6. As John said its been a real pleasure doing this for Martin.Im so pleased how its worked out,The engine Martin had built by Kyle Puckett is a crazy bit of engineering and just shows what can be achieved with a vg when money is no object. The thing revs like a motorbike when it comes on cam and will be mental with 25psi up its arse on full boost.Be some big numbers from this one for sure i reckon.
  7. If the springs were not strong enough in the dump valves and they were bleeding off boost pressure then its quite possible.
  8. Go on treat yerself, with your mods your deffo needing a paddle at least matey. That sort of narrows it down :thumbup1:
  9. Has that Tag got your phone number and address with "if found please contact" on the back :w00t:
  10. would have to have another look to take in all the stuff and make a better assesment,But id generally say whatever they are selling it shouldnt be dross as the Americans wont stand for it so whatever takes your fancy.Youll really need a milder clutch with increased clamp load to give you a safety margin for power increases.
  11. I thought so.loads of choice.they even do an uprated clutch for $190 ffs.Even with postage and import it will still be cheap.
  12. Just had a look through this site after saving it last year, they have some fantastic zed stuff on it from some exclusive companies like Project Mu.Clutch and flywheel section is huge.worth trawling through i reckon http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/
  13. Yeah its right on the front of the block with a rubber seal behind it iirc, pita to get out,you rememeber selling a few now bud
  14. On the Yamaha engine used in smaller ford models the usual culprit is the thermostat housing on the front of the engine. Its plastic and splits.Seen a couple like it.Right pain to get at if the car has air con.
  15. Did you live in Bristol for a bit using words like "lush" hun?
  16. Hes not on about the r35 matey.
  17. Thats fantastic,be a shame to cut that or stick a candle in it.
  18. Anyone thats drove a nice tt auto will appreciate the combination.I love my manual but every now and then a customer brings an auto in and i really enjoy the test drive.I think thats a cracking car and Jeffs done the box so you have peace of mind too.Great looking car imho.
  19. Id rather an auto tt than a manual non applicable :tt2:
  20. A completely pointless exercise, you cant adjust a hydraulic clutch anyhow, you can only adjust the pedal height which alters the biting point at the pedal.once a clutch is slipping its had it end of im afraid bud.And by continuing to drive it youll probaly need a flywheel again instead of just a clutch replacement. So really what are you saving in the long run.
  21. Gaz to the rescue, thats more like it
  22. Great minds think alike Lol
  23. You went to Australia by the looks of it,fair shout.Thats dedication Lol
  24. Turbos need to be stripped to examine seals im afraid
  25. £34 would fix that.get down your local Machine Mart and buy some thermal overalls.they are fantastic.Ive worn mine outside the last couple of weeks in sub zero temps and they are fantastic :sweatdrop:
