  2. keep your stock one and go smooth with the badge removed,i had a nostril one for years but ditched it in the end and have gone stock again.
  3. What a cock trying to palm you off with stuff that dont fit :mad2: From what ive researched it seems na bearings are more expensive than tt,s.Probaly because they are rarer i should imagine.
  4. Maybe? but tandoors are good for putting skewers of meet into, and the breads are stuck too the side of it to cook.
  5. Im not sure if its due to the hicas, maybe the driveshafts set them apart as the diffs are different also, but the bearings are listed na or tt.
  6. any tandoors on there,id love my own for doing naan bread and other tandoori stuff
  7. Bigger bodies wil make a difference, prolly not to noticeable if your running stock tubs but id expect a great improvement when coupled with other mods.Your torque would see the best increase.
  8. It wont clear the noise by running it on the drive,it needs driving and getting up to proper temp, mine always does this even though it had new lifters 5 years ago, will tick till i drive it then noise will go.I wouldnt jump in with additives and oil changes, just get yer hose on when you can and take it out.
  9. Take the rear side panels out and you can get access to the rear of the sill, the wheelarch and the section behind the wheels which rots also.
  10. It can be done BUT you have to be careful, alloy bellhousings have sharp edges !! I knew some one who dropped a cavalier box years ago and it chopped right through to the tendons in his hand on four fingers :cursing: Two people would make a big difference doing the job.
  11. The aiv valves feed hot air to warm the cats up ,cold ones are not efficient, this is the reason in an mot cat test its vital the car is up to temperature.
  12. Just get the nut pool welded up,easy !
  13. Funny though a £38 k car had squealers on the pads instead of wear indicators, with all the other technology it seems mad !
  14. You can lose the idle set up completely as once you go stand alone you can set the throttle bodies to allow air past to give the correct idle.Get some blanks made up like i did on Mad maxes car.
  15. Youll never get the a frame underneath mate, and as stated the box will prolly seize on the way even if you did.
  16. specialty z sump https://specialtyz.com/shop/sz-vg30de-tt-oil-pan.html
  17. Yeh Pete, your right there, that compressor would run out of puff rather quickly with those tools, prolly blow your car tyre up or run a detail spray gun,but not much else.
  18. Has it not got enough ooomph Gaz,try getting a reciever tank. The cut off tool will need a good compressor to run it.
  19. Jesus those are cheap, absolute bargain for home repairs.
  20. Uk tubs will fit chap but its quite a bit of work if the replacements turn out to be no good, make sure the oil feeds are good if you do use them. Some cars with worn tubs can limp on for a while but it could let go and break up which can empty the engine of oil causing further damage, your call mate really.
  21. Im afraid you prolly have a goosed turbo, with what youve explained its 99% certain.
  22. That looks like the egr pipe.just blank the rubber hose and leave it bud, will be fine.
  23. its just as well i have thick skin Bri Lol,i may even get some pics of myself in raunchy poses on members cars when they are in for rebuilds, any takers ?:winkiss:
  24. After a few pints Dave i bet youve pulled worse :w00t:
  25. with any luck it will pay more and you can afford to subscribe :x::rofl::slap:
