  2. They use a stud puller on that Jeff, tidy job after :cool2:
  3. Dude they are brass in Aluminium, are you Monty Burns or something,a quick grrr and they come out,ive never known one that tight, ones a 19mm an the others 12 iirc, make sure you use the ring end of a spanner or a semi deep socket to avoid rounding them off.You will lose minimal coolant when changing those.
  4. 400ish tops with those mods, the tubs wont gain you much being stage one as thats just a thrust bearing upgrade. You will be able to gain a few psi safely but they wont set the world alight im afraid.Youd do well by porting the heads to get as much as possible from the tubs if you could.
  5. wtf ?? im confused by your statement? he pays alot more than you in tax trust me.
  6. Be going around tracks on two wheels and a door handle once you get that fitted mate, oil surge will be a distant memory :gunsmilie:
  7. Its not the rods that caused the failures in the pictures,The bearings seized, spun in the rod then welded the crank and rod together, the fact that Marks was an eagle rod proves It can happen to any rod, corrillo etc doesnt matter how good it is.The stock rods are not weak and are forged as previously stated. They will withstand 500hp no problem.im running just under this and use the car in anger regular at 18psi and the bottom end is perfect after 400o miles.
  8. Dont buy inferior discs, dont drive car like you stole it for prolonged periods, and if the discs are hot avoid large puddles as the rapid cooling can warp them.
  9. each to thier own bud i suppose, admire your honesty though.
  10. Im sorry but which bit of the video was the problem in bud,i thought she behaved rather well imho.Ive just watched a video of a car allowed to idle for a bit switched off and then fluttered very slightly upon restart and proceeded to run smooth. If that is a problem youll need deep pockets and patience to resolve all the other z32 things youll encounter.Id leave that well alone imho. The rpm did look low slightly but a consult check would say for sure.
  11. Jeez id keep that quiet. My kids like computer games ffs.

  18. I always use Murts.i kept his cars details when i first did his Mot.simples.
  19. The oil feeds dont but the drivers side banjo bolt does kind of,it has a "k" on the head and should not be mixed up with the pass side as the drillings inside are much smaller.
  20. Its even worse doing this when you have a trailer on the back trust me.had it a few times in artics and it is brown trouser time.
  21. Good news then all round John.Martins should be even easier with one under yer belt.Be nice to see you again when we get the install under way :cool3:
  22. You wanna double that then have £500 ready to maybe sort a few problems should they arise.
  23. Joking aside Brian it does sound like the fork creaking, sometimes the force of disengaging a new clutch can cause some creak whereas on the tired old one it never.
