  1. Had a quick scout for ya,this guy sells 7,s.Ask if he does 8,s.Im running a 7 on mine with tubs far inferior to yours so an 8 is best for your application.hth. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NGK-IRIDIUM-SPARK-PLUGS-NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-TURBO-NA-/370260747618?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item563542a562
  2. No Matey the spark plugs heat range.look for iridium ngk,s on e bay.they will start with a number which indicates the heat range, the higher the number the colder the plug which means your less likely to get detonation at higher boost.
  3. You wanna change those spark plugs before you map it,7 minimum, best look at 8,s imho if you can.Id expect 530 fwhp maybe from that set up,is it running cams or had any port work done ?
  4. Exactly, couldnt put it better myself. If the nut cant turn freely on its stud when torqued the reading will be inaccurate and could result in a loose wheel.
  5. Great minds and that eh Dave Lol.
  6. Looks like he did,Madmax kept his also but opted for the BDE high torque vtc hubs to keep the driveability.Im really looking forward to getting that car on the rollers, having seen inside the engine and the quality of the ferrera valves and extensive portwork it should make some big numbers,650rwhp should be a pushover.
  7. Yes bud im always suspicious of "check my car pics"from newbies with low post counts.Nice car but owner delusional with power claims.
  8. :whistling: Guess which car that looks very much the same as this one is on e bay right now, funny that. Its got one of those stage 3 chips in it as well so it can make a trillion horses at 17psi according to the advert :sleep1:
  9. Mr Dixon does the bizz again then, top guy our John
  10. AMS are not cheap n nasty.they took the Mike smith manifolds, improved the design slightly saved shed loads on development costs and passed that on in the pricing. Its as simple as that.Id buy them and use them for that money.
  11. His jokes really are shite too true, last time i heard them i fell off my dinosaur laughing
  12. That was why i started using them on zeds to begin with bud,in the trade as you well know they are regarded as good kit,if you got one of their sets to fit on a motor you knew it was alright and never questioned its quality,as you say loads of vehicles use them as oem stuff,French stufff especially.
  13. Liars all of em  that Jimmer bloke, well where do i start.
  14. I still rate them just not for zeds after that, had me baffled a bit at the time as to why belt was so tight.i do still use their range of serpentine belts when i install underdrive pulleys.
  15. Ive always rated gates belts until i tried fitting one too a zed,was like a bow string with the tensioner in its most furthest away position, changed to an oem one and
  16. A worthy car for the magazine bud, congrats on that.she sure is a flyer :gunsmilie:
  17. Any good quality rtv sealer suitable for automotive applications is fine, the higher temp the better.Loads on e bay if you look.If you want some plates for the plenum i have some already made and could post you my home made crank pulley puller if you like.
  18. you dont need it thats why.If you saw the banjo off the old pipe, the metal tube thats left will go into the other hose looping the pipes together.
  19. You Dry Bread Jimmy  Get yer wallet out.
  20. They use a stud puller on that Jeff, tidy job after :cool2:
  21. Dude they are brass in Aluminium, are you Monty Burns or something,a quick grrr and they come out,ive never known one that tight, ones a 19mm an the others 12 iirc, make sure you use the ring end of a spanner or a semi deep socket to avoid rounding them off.You will lose minimal coolant when changing those.
  22. 400ish tops with those mods, the tubs wont gain you much being stage one as thats just a thrust bearing upgrade. You will be able to gain a few psi safely but they wont set the world alight im afraid.Youd do well by porting the heads to get as much as possible from the tubs if you could.
  23. wtf ?? im confused by your statement? he pays alot more than you in tax trust me.
  24. Be going around tracks on two wheels and a door handle once you get that fitted mate, oil surge will be a distant memory :gunsmilie:
