  3. why go to all that trouble then skimp on a ten pound gasket !! And surely youd see when you were swapping the injectors the old ones were a different colour and think "hang on a minute".I will keep out of further guessing posts in future to let the others have a go :smartass:

  7. The St malo ferry is 12hours whereas Roscoff is 6, Ell booked it bud, give me shout me we can get banjaxxed bankside on thatchers cider.
  8. Hi Si,Doing Plymouth to Roscoff Friday lunchtime then heading to La Ville Hamon just outside of Menaec, its near Rennes mate, your more than welcome to pop by.area is of outstanding beauty and the roads are yer classic french, smooth and sleek.perfect for the zed.
  9. Yeh its deffo zed weather today, must fix mine.off to France fishing end of the week so it will have to wait.Regarding the Germany match, thats the difference between a team and a bunch of egotistical over paid ponces who are on it for the money.Shame aint it.This is why Rugby is still a good game as the money has not poisoned it.
  10. well after trawling through a load of piffle that had no bearing on horse power id say you may get detonation at high boost as your head gaskets are thin but if that plays ball you may see 500 at the wheels possibly.
  11. i worked for Beatties part time as a kid and used to build loads of r/c cars for people, lunch boxes, grass hoppers, porche 959s, and my fave was the clod buster, had one myself.would go anywhere.Tamiya still make them.
  12. FOOK ME your the classic reason text book testers have a bad reputation,no experience just a rule book and no experience to go on.What fast fit place do you work at.ATS or Kwik Fit LOL :mad2:
  13. You a big fan then Jeff, can imagine you and Lynda sat in bed like Terry and June watching Emmerdale on catch up Lol.
  14. £129 a head isnt that bad really,as long as its been pressure tested, skimmed.seats recut and guides done if needed.
  15. have you met him? seriously, jeez.no jokin aside,Vig is a nice guy.mate note for self;hide your keys,i always hide car keys if im out and not using them.never leave em down stairs on hooks either by the front door.fishing rods have other uses if you have a letter box.
  16. Mark your so shady its untrue, proper Londoner, bet you could get keys cut from imprints in soap u dodgy git :whistling:
  17. Snipe softwares been around for years,my dad first used it over 4 years ago.
  18. My sentiment exactly,zed + big discs + Holes = Cracks.
  19. It is hypocritical considering the Yanks dont recognise the 100bhp per litre rule which 20years ago was a good benchmark, they thought pig iron with a swept volume of 7 litres was doing well if it made 350 bhp :lol:Efficient engines in the west can make that easy using half the cylinders.
  20. I used to use sniper software,so did my dad, both are accounts got hacked, and i got bombarded with spam, stopped using it and hey presto,it stopped. As useful as it is i wouldnt trust it now.
  21. Is it just me or is anyone else a little pissed off with his righteous attitude towards the oil spill,do you think he would have made the same fuss if it was an American Oil rig,I know whats happened is awful and will have serious repercussions on the eco system but the fact that one of the worlds greatest polluters and users of oil complaining is a bitter pill to swallow for me.
  22. IMHO carbon fibre is a faze that will date your car and once its not trendy people that fitted it will be rushing to remove it,Thats why id never put it on my car.Its too stereotypical at the moment for performance cars.
  23. Dolomites suffer from rust really bad,the suspension mountings dissolve basically. The gearbox iirc is removed from inside the car !! which is strange and the stag V8 was apparently devised by siamesing two dolomite engines.Nice cars in the day but overshadowed by the RS 2000.Brave man to take one of those on. I would put the dolomite in the same group as the lotus sunbeam, and chevette hsr, great cars when someone else owns it :thumbup1:
  24. If it has seized pistons the chances are the fronts will have an inbalance.Seen this loads of times when doing zed mots.you sure the guy didnt forget to put the rear wheels had locked? It realy isnt hard to reach 50% efficiency. Its calculated by dividing the total effort in kilos by the weight of the car.
  25. You can go off people you know, used to like you
