Its a shielding wire that is grounded at the ecu.its used to prevent interference in the signal from the det sensor.

He does the mapping usually at his friends garage in Telford.The dyno read 473 fwhp but that is calculated.

Id just like to say i met John For the First time Saturday after speaking to him many times on the phone.John mapped my car for me and i was amazed at the outcome.He found almost 60 bhp more at the wheels by altering the cam timing and fuelling ,i was amazed.The cars now pushing 436 rwhp and over 400ft lbs of torque.If your looking to get a custom map for your modified 300zx hes your man :punk:

What would concern me is the fact the guy put the ball in your court,either he knows or he doesnt.If its oversize pistons then its been re bored in which case i doubt any "water marks" would be left seeing as the the first oversize is half a mm bigger.Doesnt sound much but ive had blocks which have had what seemed considerable bore damage and a first oversize re bore removed all traces.

Remove the u/j that attatches to the steering rack,mark it where it meets the rack first though.sounds like it is seizing up.Mine did exactly the same.

You will not gain that power from a chip anyway,with supporting mods you may see 70bhp extra if your running a strong engine.

The dark blue one,was it a g reg with a large guy with a tache driving it?

The white one belings to a landlord of a pub.its hanging,proper dog rough.The red one may have been PJ.S dads as he still has it.Did it have multi spoked wheels on it ?
