  1. im pissing myself here mate :lol::lol: sock suspension Lol.I think rltc is great if you feel safer with it cus it saves the driver fishtailing and hitting me in my car, each to their own Paul as long as you like it mate :gunsmilie:
  2. Men who wear sock suspenders have traction control FACT  My right foot does all those functions. And its served me well in cars up to 550hp with the same torque in wet and dry conditions.Traction control is like a low boost setting on an EBC,who the the feck uses that ? ive never switched my profec B to that EVER !!
  3. U lost an auto zed ?? how,d you do that
  4. Unless you plan on drag racing id leave the traction control alone, funny though how you have built the car then ask what the traction will be like, you,ll soon find out when its going and it will be a hard lesson if your not adapt at taming powerful cars, any zed after 400hp gets quite unpredictable and will step out when provoked at any time. Its something youll need be aware of and catch it quick when it does, with time youll get used to spinning the rear wheels at 60 mph + and get a handle on it.Get the widest and best rear tyres you can afford is my best advice,You will still have problems though,a Lambo with less power will ber running 345,s so your still fighting a loosing battle
  5. Rememeber thats an unrestored car by the looks of it,so even if yours is lower mileage the fact that its not been restored adds value, well worth it imho and im sure yours will be worth a few bob too when done.Get some pics up when shes done.UK zeds are far rarer now than many Jap models so well sought after in the right condition.
  6. Lets hope the next one is better cus you do chuck the towel in early, its been stood mind so may not make 165 psi compression in the first ten minutes of running
  7. I get them out with a bearing puller o n a slide hammer, two taps and they fall out easy, its a blue point hammer and cost £75.works a treat
  8. Yeah BIG ,look at the pic Paul posted in his link
  9. That duty calculator is hilarious,£300 for $2000  more like £175. On average if i import $5000 the import is around £340 ish.
  10. Thats probaly £598 + vat i bet.The 525,s use brand new cartridges from garret not rebuilt s/hand ones.If its £1200 + vat id deffo spend the extra and get new.
  11. They are a designed and made to fit kit,but you may need a little grinding on the drivers side engine mount bracket and will have to relocate the oil pressure switch. To answer Marks question i dont mate, speak to Josh at z1 for more info.
  12. Thank you James, another man that speaks with experience. They are not the best turbo out there by far but what they are is the best bolt up four bolt exit turbo youll buy.Hassle free,no fabrication or modification and great gains and reliability.
  13. CHEAP = PAYING TWICE bud.Rebuilt tubs can be a gamble as can second hand ones,e bay ones well forget it so what you left with ...............
  14. They offer them in .54 or .63 ratio.I usually fit the quicker spooling ones .54. Alanz has them,Joelyp has them,Leo has them also.Check my rides 436rwhp before i ported my heads !! on a bolt up turbo.Mine are 4 years old now and still fantastic.Alanz has had his 3 years now and he still loves them.
  15. $1700,add some shipping, import and a surcharge cus you,d be mad to send your old ones over.Cheap imho.
  16. Leon at Alunox will make you some.He does custom work and makes exhausts, intercoolers and any other bespoke items like that.
  17. If you want bolt on,no feckin around and similar spool up to stock then the z1 gt525,s may be for you.I have them and have installed several sets on peoples cars, capable of 450bhp + and not too expensive.
  18. even if the pipe had corroded it still wouldnt drip as you topped the oil up.get it on a ramp and have a look.may be a corroded sump by the sounds of it.
  19. i still say if its been stood it needs more of a chance before you give up.
  20. cheers guys its good to hear peoples experiences.
  21. Best wishes to everyone, next years gonna be tough for a lot of people, lets hope its all good for us on here.
  22. Thanks for the repiles guys, im looking at spending around £1500 i suppose, would love to spend more but i have a load of building work to undertake in the front room and hallway so thats gonna zap a bit of lolly.I heard loads of bad stuff about how shoddy DFS Stuff is,and then did some homework on SCS and every review i found was negative, sofa damaged, breaks in months, not delivered for weeks when promised.Jesus its a minefield.I know all these places say the chairs have a ten year guarantee but from what ive gathered they usually dont honour it.
  23. Missus took me around a load of furniture shops today :sleep1:.Jeez was mind numbing.Found a few we liked but when i got home and checked the retailers reviews  .Has anybody on here had a bad experience with SCS or DFS ? seems lots of people have.
  24. Youd have to be different wouldnt you
  25. Dont you mean less as the axis is the lower balljoint ?
