  1. You own a 300zx and you find postage expensive for a small plastic bush
  2. No probs Gary.tis fine matey.
  3. Piles are more entertaining imho.was pure drivel !!
  4. On any car the front tyres ARE the most important tyres.im not saying neglect the rears but its much easier to control a rear end break away than front end understeer. You always keep your best tyres on the steered axle.I know staggered fitments and 4wd vehicles dont always allow this but this is the rule.
  5. I just ring him but cant disclose his number.iirc he still uses the same e mail.
  6. Hes back and enjoying being with his family again.Met him last weekend :gunsmilie:

when the area organiser is a regi user id say its not looking good. Why has he not stepped down and passed the ball ?
  9. No mate, the ecu uses it to ascertain when you are pulling away so it can start to advance engine timing.
  10. Turbocharged zeds have wide torque ranges thats why only 5 gears are needed.6 speeds are more suited to modern turbo diesels and n/a petrol cars to keep them on the power.Imho it just isnt suited to a 6 speed box and it will only detract from its driving pleasure.3rd and 4th are so tall gears it just aint necessary. An extra gear would just be a pita after a while. They will do 185mph using the 5 speed so i just dont see how a 6 speed box from a slower non turbo car is an enhancement ?
  11. I dont think personally a zed32 needs 6 gears. The ratios are long anyway so 6 gears would be pointless.Youll get sick of gearchanging.
  12. Mr flibble :lol: it was class pure class.Geniune pant wetting humour.
  13. It could be Nick that your neutral switch doesnt register so therefore the ecu cant detect it when trying to enter diagnostic mode.
  14. I still reckon quarantine was one of the best,Dr hildergart Langstrom and the hollo virus, feckin hilarious.I hope they do the original show justice.
  15. Yeah as stated thats a tyre issue. They can cause some strange problems.Seen odd faults like this on numerous occasions.

  21. Good thread Jeff a great fix for a problem that would really be a pain, water leaks are awful.Takes me back to my old ford damp carpet days ,is it easy to puncture the drain tube when fitting those pods,it seems that cars that have those always drip water in when it rains.Ive never fitted a set but have noticed they screw to the A pillar where that tube runs.
  22. Ditch the stainless manifolds because they will crack in time.Get some Ams or Mike Smith cast manifolds.
  23. like i said ages ago,you should have just fixed yours, all this messing about, you could have honed the first engine and put new pistons or rings in it,at least you would have known it was good then.It would not have cost you that much and saved all this aggro :pinch:
  24. The hinge is bolted and can be adjusted.the bolts are the wing side of the hinge.Try lifting the door with it open,i used to do that on old fords and it always worked.
