  6. My son owns a Tamiya Blackfoot rc car,on Sunday he was playing with it in the garden, anyway he brought it in downhearted as the front suspension had collapsed.A suspension screw had come adrift ! remembering that Mr Derby on here owned a model shop, quick text to him and he knew exactly what i was after,Today a parts bag arrived with several screws and lots of other useful bits and pieces for his car and he wouldnt take a penny.Mark thank you once again my 7 year old is made up and so am i  Another example of members help on here when lately it seems negative transactions have shadowed a lot of good deeds.
  7. I cant see how Mark, you must have hands like a baby, remember the pivot is underneath the support plate, and one of the stick bolts is underneath also.
  8. Ive had an fmic for years now, done several dyno runs where air flow can be lacking, had it dyno tuned in summer and the temp stays constant,i could leave it idling for hours with no issues.
  9. Tesco super is good stuff,in tests it gave the most consistant results and kept its octane rating longer than V Power.
  10. I always liked TD years ago but of late the service they give is shocking, the left hand is literally unawhere of the existance of the right there not what its doing, the guys that answer the phone sound about ten years old and "have to just go and check" anything you ask constantly,Place is a Monkey Temple and to be avoided. They made a right balls up of Jaffas turbo replacement, housings clocked wrong, the actuators they fitted were inferior after they refused to reuse the existing ones. Not a place id use now.
  11. a very good point mate and usually its the inners but the tester has failed the outers, seen this several times on front tie rods on steering racks and its play was blamed on the outer balljoint.
  12. Just a quick mention that the tensioner plunger is out way more than specified.Thats a huge gap,it should be around 3-5 mm.It needs retensioning.
  13. That black colour looks nicer than the car,id spray the rest of the car to match it
  14. 3 hours in the week, leave at a sensible time way less bud.im in Bristol just north of somerset,i used to regularly go to Dunstable in a focus diesel in an hour and a half !!
  15. If its a similar set up to the Navara a pivot arm from the cable seizes on the back of the brake drum, salt water will kill that quick, get someone to work the handbrake and look underneath.
  16. I do like your wheels Baz but prefer it as it was, much sexier imho.Thats a clean zed, arch another and give it a track look :thumbup1:
  17. How do people do that Jeff ? the belt has lines on it so really you cant go wrong .Cambelts still baffle many mechanics.I still remember doing my first CVH Lol and being scared shitless.
  18. Once the brake pipe starts to round you can spray the bee jesus out of it and it aint budging, its mole grip time im afraid mate.To get a new pipe made wont cost much.
