Not fitted it yet as I am collecting it on Wednesday. Never thought the 'Race' wheel I had really complimented the car and felt that something a little more old-skool and a little more luxurious would fit the interior a bit better too. I always felt that my Race was slightly too small, being only 320mm. It was fun in some situations, but was just too small for me. I have found a Momo Daytona and will be collecting it later this week. :)

Are there replacement panels which are carbon or other light material? If so what body parts can be replaced? What sort of saving would you get in kg? Damien

just removed the CC, but why do you even need to join up the pipe that goes from the bottom (fuel vapour rail think) to the top of the tree? the red pipe im on about, why bother doing it? it goes up to the top, to the tree of 3, but then the tree of 3 goes to nothing, as youv removed the vacuum pipes that go there?

As above, i am thinking of racing my z and want to know if there is a class of racing or is it just one off track days? Also, if there is, does anyone here race? I want tyo know before i rip my car apart and cage the s**t out of it!

Well it had to happen sometime ! 5 years of trouble free running my second Z and the engine check light finally came on when i started her up. Fan kicked in straight away as well ???? I cant find the thread that shows me how to run a diagnostic check for fault codes. Can someone help please?

Hi there i would just like to say thanks to 8ace for the sub boxes for my boot,got it all in at the weekend all wired up and working great,pics will follow.:hyper::smash::cool:

got 3 of them off no problem, but the 4th decided to round itself off and now i am stuck doh. cars looking really sad now too without its wheels or bodykit.

My Zed currently has a Pioneer Carrozzeria fitted, comprising 2 units: DEH-P500 (CD Player) KDS-P500 (Cassette) One of the 2 also seems to includes a pretty powerful amplifier. The unit is clearly at least 10 years old (or older), Japanese spec and was probably a very high end unit when fitted. I've been trying to figure out all of the features but am struggling and need to get hold of the user manual. I've looked everywhere on the net but no luck. Normally I would have just replaced it but as it seems to be a very high quality unit, I want to try and keep it if possible. Any ideas?

My car has coilovers fitted so looking at pics in my ride now wheels are on and camber correction kit at hand what would be a good(sensible) height for it? Would 30mm lowered be too much or cause problems etc speed bumps, rubbing or would 20mm down be ok?

Just wondering how much they actually weigh. I've replaced my drivers door with the one from my S1. the series 2 door has a hefty lump of metal in it, which I'm assuming is side impact protection. The door minus all trim, glass, window reg and motor feels about the same weight as the S1 does fully loaded. So if you've got a S2 and want to save weight, change the doors for S1's.

hi guys, iv just finished repairing my cooling system probs and iv filled the system up to check for leaks and all good! but.... is there a way in which i should be filling up the cooling system so to stop any air locks etc????? im guessing half fill it up, then continue filling with cap off and bleed screw off and while engine is started so to force air out, does this seem correct??? dan

I've just started work on getting it though an MOT, needs a bit of welding:( I am Looking to sell/swap to get a small diesel van. how much do you reacon I'll get for it? Its scruffy looking but the engine and manual gear box is spot on. How much would I get for it with/without an MOT? It has a red front bumper and the sills will be different colours. I can also replace other body panels to get rid of the dents but will be silver.

I bought an HID kit for my blue Zed...... ......I chose a 4300k set-up; I wanted function over appearance. The 4300k is more pure white than the blue of a 6000k kit. Now the OEM lights were not too bad but oh boy are the HIDs bright in comparison:bow: I took a couple of phone pics - now bring on the dark nights (not that I use the Z that much at night; but at least I can now):dance: Oh yes, and that thin metal strip inside the lower part of the front bumper - well I removed the surface rust you can see in the pics and coated it in black Hammerite;) Richard:cool:
