...all the marks line up again? As in: After initial setup - with the new belt installed with all the marks lined up.... Does that make sense?

I have been searching the forum trying to work out what spark plugs i will need to buy. Been a little confused weather i need PFR6B-11B or different ones? My car will has uprated internals ie eagle rods and wiseco pistons 740cc injectors, t28r tubs and MS manifolds. Would the PFR6B-11B be ok or will i require different plugs? Cheers, Ant

Hi everyone, first: search doesn´t work, so I wasn´t able to check older threads, sorry, if its a well discussed theme... Just came back from dyno - Zed ran much too fat, starting from 4k revs (hope, i´m allowed to set this picture-link) http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/6206/dsc0686f.jpg A friend of mine, also Z32, had the same prob. Now we´re thinking about a codebraker-solution. Engine management systems like Motec etc are really expensive, and we were wondering, if the nistune-system is able help us getting lean... Are nistune-users here that can say something about this system? Please excuse, if i made mistakes, I´m austrian.…

Hello everyone, just joined the site. I have a 1989 (first of the new gen models) Twin Turbo Auto swb import. After driving the car for approx 2 miles the hicas warning light comes on, the steering goes heavy and the speedo mph arrow stops working (goes to 0) Does anyone know how to remedy this fault? Thanks Jordan

ive got an idle issue with my car, im just going down my garage, as i think i know of 1 vac leak, (and im also gonna remove the AIV & FPRV thing in the wing) apart from clean the idle valve, only other thing i can think of is the TPS. gonna clean the conenctor, but how can i test it? if i remove it should the revs increase/decrease? that way i know if i remove it and nothing happens il know thats a possible cause?

Hi people, I am new to Zeds but am looking to buy one which is up for sale locally. The man says that it is a twin turbo, but the Turbo boost gauge goes from -7 to +7, and i see on many photos that some go from -14 to +14. Is this a single turbo model or twin? The speedo has been changed from Jap KPH to uk MPH - would this have anything to do with it? thanks for your help Paul

I have one of these on my car(came with it) and I have read here that it looks like it's not a good idea to have one due to pressure levels being raised. I also read some past threads about stock OEM ones not fitting properly. So where can I get one that fits that is safe / works properly and will fit my series 3 JDM TT :D

Didn't want to spoil DAZ1s thread so I thought I'd ask the question in a separate thread. I've recently noticed a sound when the car is cold which sounds like tappets. What's the significance of this? Should I be worried? It's an NA.

Hi guys, I know this question has been asked several times and I've trawled the forums but can't find the perfect answer, so here goes again. 1. I have some remnants of an adhesive stuck to my dash which needs removing. In direct sunlight, it softens when the dash is hot but what is the best way to remove this safely, i.e. without damaging or melting the dash? It's above the air vents, on the soft part of the dash. 2. What is the best and safest method of removing the Fairlady sticker on the rear of the car? It's embarrassing! 3. Once (2) is done, where can I get a good quality replacement NISSAN sticker that looks genuine. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Guys, Need to pick your brains again - I am running a '92 TT Targa LWB Auto. Engine has been chipped and remapped (with SS Freeflow Nisstek Exhaust + induction kit soon) and is being worked on to get me a reliable 340Bhp. I currently still have the HICAS set up working and am running on stock 16 inch rims. I want to tie down the handling a bit more as it just feels a bit detached and cumbersome through the twisty stuff though it does feel very secure at speed. Also I am getting a little bit of vibration under hard braking . I am looking to move to 18" rims to take out some side wall flex but would also look to a new suspension set up and am looking for some d…

Took the callipers off my series 1 breaker today. Just wondering if they are stock s1 alloy ones? They look a lot better than the iron lumps on my s2 so was going to swap (after a refurb).

Off to Jeffs tomorrow to get the car running properly, I keep getting random spates of mis-fires. I have played with the engine for ages and have learned lessons in past that it's worth taking to a pro when it gets to that stage, I could spend another month trying to fix it but why!!! So I pulled her out of the garage fitted the new bumper which has had a crap blow over with a Halfords tin of paint but not spending anymore money til it's running right. Decided against the vented nose panel as the fuse box and PTU will live there. During a spate of not mis-firing took her down the dual carriage way and flew down there at 80mph, when accerlerating the wastegate no…

Well just gone back to work having 2 weeks off and spent the first week with my mate Scott putting a front on my Zed and doing all manner of other usefull thing's like AIV, PRVR and carbon cannister delete and bypass (EGR got deleted years ago!) as well as re routing various vac hoses to eliminate any boost leaks (Thanks to DannyZX and his boost leak tester) and removing all the corrisponding solenoids... Only thing now is my interior heater blower don't work! I know this bumper isn't to everyone's liking but I like it and that's what matters. That's what makes us all individual else we would all like the same women, tv progs ets! Here are some pic's anyway and Scott is u…
