Hi all, I've not posted on here since joining the forum, despite there being a newbies section, but felt the need to let you all know what I'm doing to the '91 UK Z32 TT I bought at the weekend. To be honest, she's a bit of a shed, but I'm determined to get her looking and performing well. She's got an idle problem which sounds a bit like a misfire...possibly due a fuel leak (I can smell fuel). In addition to running the diagnostics and checking for leaks, I'm getting my mate Matt (who will probably be using this forum ID to ask for help) to service my car and give her a good going over. Hi people, Just a quickie, my clutch thrust bearing (i think) is whirring when not pressed down, press clutch in and it quietens a little, put her into gear and it stops. Will my clutch fail in an instant or will it get worse over time and gradually fail? Just trying to gauge as to when to get it done. Cheers all, Al.

Despite my efforts seem unable to locate any forums or clubs for zeds in Portugal, I know there must be some as each time I go I see zeds there, as I am off there next week would be good to see if I can meet up with some guys. Does anyone know or have any links. Thanks in advance Jeff TT

Hi Guys Currently have Eibach lowering springs, with Koni adjustable shocks. Have since had a bodykit fitted, with a strosec front bumper, this has made the car look lower at the front, about 70mm off the ground. The trouble is the front is hitting slight bumps so plan on bitting the bullet and fitting Tein suspension, with EDFC. the question is which sort ?? They do two sorts Super Street with upper mounts and Mono Flex, the Mono flex looks more for track than street. I do not plan on using it as a track car, more of show car. I already have stillen roll bars adjustable tension rods and a BIG set of AP brakes. Which Tein setup would you recommend? …

hey folks im just putting my engine back in and neede to know which way the oil cooler pipes go round the only ones i didnt mark. there is the one from the sump and the one from the filter block. The metal pipes on the car side have one on top of the other would be good if someone could tell me which one goes on top cheers Marty

Thought i would keep this seperate from my other one as i dont want them all becoming confusing. Those people with built engines, what sort of warranty did you get? What sort of warranty would you expect from a expensive re-build? My brother has just had his RX7 rebuilt, it came with a 3 year warranty or 50,000 mile what ever comes first.

Hi, I have been talking to a colleague (race car engine builder) who has some experience with the VG30 TT engine and he is telling me that the stock injectors are only good for 420hp/330kw max (at 6000rpm) - if we want more then it's fuel rail/bigger injector time - is that a true'ish statement guys? :o

Hi, I am after a list of Garages and engine builders who are capable of building a high spec 300zx. I'm sure some may question why I am asking and what the score is with me and my car but i am not at libity to say at the moment. I will just say it is one big mess which needs action taking. hi im new to the car i got a fresh import last night , drove over 400 miles to get it , but i havnt got a clue why 1, its in kph which is a pain in the arse at the mo ( i understand this but is it as simple as taking the old kph out and pick up a mph of ebay and replace it , the car is a 1996) 2, not sure why i have to wait for the little computer to count down till it hits zero to take the key out , its very annoying (what is it for etc) 3 and the power and hold button if anyone can shed light on the situation it would be great thanks.

Using genuine Nissan parts is simple they are the best and often only cost a small amount more than non genuine parts. However I can see why it can seem a cost saving to use spurious brands as in most cases they look exactly the same and without any back to back details its hard to make an informed decision one such area is cambelts. So with this in mind a non genuine belt was purchased and compared with a genuine Nissan belt the following photos shows the order of things as and as the finally show there is a big, big difference and I think some of you guys are going to be surprised. Hi everyone I looking at buying this car but need your opnion. It seems like a good deal but im not sure about it. HIYA PEEPS!!! well thought id try a post on here as im getting no where. i have a 92 manual TT slicktop (the silver fifth gear one) which i just replaced the engine in, after replacing the engine all was great for a couple of weeks then the boost dropped to 0.6bar where it has stubbornly stayed regardless of my efforts to rectify! ive had some pointers off the guys at zed world but were running out of checks as ive covered most now and im probably doing there head in by now :rofl: and up here in scotland im just a tad to far to go visit them unfortunately,heres a list of things ive checked and ruled out, if anyone has any ideas then lets hear em. much appreciated. …

Hi guys long time no see :D still working on getting another 300zx but for the moment need some help I was having a clearout a few days ago and found the only item left of anything related to a 300zx lol, its a HKS ALC (automatic line oil pressure controller) I just need to know if its version 1 or 2 as its gonna go on ebay. Sunday 06.09 between 1pm and 4pm Hav'nt seen any for ages and ages and then spotted 2 in one day. I was driving in East London near Bow (I think) postcode E2 to E6 area. I was driving my Supra and one of ye let me out Thanx !!!!!!!! :)
