I've at last finished de-oranging the car: I'm thinking though that it could do with either smoked indicators to match the blanks next to them, or clear blanks, I'm not sure which. Anyone any thoughts, or pictures of such arrangments? Are smoked UK indicators available? Phill P.S. please ignore the off centre number plate!

I'm trying to fit a new system to the Z. I've searched the site and found a wiring guide, http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1254445&postcount=11but what it lists as Z wiring does not match what is coming from the back of my original unit. Some pics below of what is currently connected. And this which is not connected And does anyone know what this switch is for It's got a cd multichanger currently connected. All of which is standard JSpec I believe.

I gave my car a good run tonight, I was high up in the revs in 2nd, 3rd and 4th on full boost (14psi, Mines ecu, twin mushroom filters, decat exhaust) and must of been at it for about 6 miles. Once I stopped and was parking the car up I noticed whisps of smoke from the exhaust my wing mirror, whilst the car was cooling down I checked for smoke at the back but it had now stopped. After about 5 mins of idling I notices a small amount of smoke coming from underneath the car, it was the drivers side directly below the wing mirror. I decided to switch the car off. An hour later I started it and drove home, no smoke, and all seems fine. Any ideas where the…

Smoothed the rear bumper completely? By that i mean smoothed all the rockguard and also filled in the swage line. Am going to be taking my front off and respraying it and also fitting some nice plain skirts and door fillers. Also i was going to smooth the rear bumper and was wondering if it is a good idea to fill the swage line also and leave it completely smooth. Anyone done it or got a pic of one done this way? Taa, Isaac

Hi Guys, I fitted an Autobahn88 FMIC a year or so ago and found some of the joints leaked, fixed all the problem joints I could find at the time. Tightening as much as the clamps will allow doesn't seem to improve things, I'm a bit concerned I might have put the pipes out of shape. I checked over the pipework with soapy water today and found some further considerable leaks - hardly surprising I'm not holding a lot of boost...1.03 bar maximum at WOT Anyway, the problem is getting the darned hoses to seal on the pipework, anyone got any brainwaves?? How about a little instant gasket or flange sealant before assembly - or am I being thick?? Perhaps some better clamps mi…

I bought a new battery on the 16th July and it died on the 19th Aug, I tried to jump start it but nothing, took it back to the supplier and they tested it with 3 different types of meters and got absolutely no reading whatsoever? They have kindly replaced it and I have checked all fuses in the three boxes on the car and they all appear to be okay? I have fitted the battery to the car and it started first time all working as should, however I have tested it on idle and the reading is 12.3v (Electrics thread say's should be between 14-14.5v)? I have switched on blower, lights, fogs, rear window demister and fogs, this results in the meter reading 11.9v (again…
