Finally pulled my finger out and changed these yesterday after having them sit on my shelf for several months, and yes they definatley needed doing the rubber had gone all brittle and when i was trying to pry the rubber of with a screwdriver they literally fell apart lol..

What didnt help aswell is my poor tool collection, it basically looks like david blunket personally selected every odd sized socket/spanner and then checked it all for quality control and then decided yes that will do!
