Hi Bought red stuff front pads and 280 x 30mm rotors for my '93 NA JDM and found that I couldn't get the pads on the rotor. When I measured my old ones they were 25mm. Confused cos I thought the NA and TT had same rotor. Rob

OMG just removing the engine is turning out to be really tricky she does not want to give you ANYTHING. Every single bolt is absolutely stuck in there :headvswal they either snap off they are so tight or round off making them near impossible to remove :nono:. When you work underneath her she either spits brake fluid, or power steering fluid on you. The drops grase and rust in your eyes in the hope that temporary blindness will make you give up for a bit.. Yesterday it took me three hours to remove three bolts holding the exhaust from the back of the O/S tub. I could not get at one of them as the starter bolts were almost welded in so needed a good soakin…

Can someone in the know answer these questions: Are R33 and R34 front Brembos the same specification? I know that the mounting holes need to be drilled for the R34s, but are there any stopping/performance differences? Is there a difference in braking systems between V-Spec and non V-Spec Skylines? I've done a couple of searches but couldn't come up with the answers! Any help/pointers appreciated. CheerZ Steve :)

I was out for a pleasant drive when suddenly I heard an almighty crashing sound and vibration from under the car! My thoughts were that I'd blown something, I walked back along the road to find this... Which had caused this... If anyone has a 265/30/19 kicking around, please let me know. There is also mis-shaping to the rim which I know the tyre places will paint a picture of doom with. Alternatively, if you have a different profile tyre/width in a pair, I would also consider these too. They are for my rears so theres plenty of clearance. Finally is about my tyre valve, are these specialised ones or will local garages bleat about them? I coul…

Hi all! First night at Znationals here in Georgia. Small party last night, lots of nice cars here already! I have a lovely white Z32 to drive to Talladega raceway in Alabama in a minute. Nice and warm. Show day is tomorrow at Z1 Motorsports, race day is today. Should be fun. :) I bought another steering wheel too! (old skool) :)

What do you think of this front bumper, I know the fitment is crap. It don't fit properly on the wing, and there seems to be a join down the centre, but I really like it! I dont suppose there is a poly one that looks like this, I might even be tempted by a fibre-glass one though I really dont want to fit one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330362786295&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I'm looking to see where exactly the original boost solenoids are, I've looked at a few pics but none highlight where precisely they are. Also I'm wondering where most people have chosen to locate the solenoid box when fitting their BC... Pete

Seemed to have developed a problem on the power steering, it feels too light and floaty at times and when turning at slow speeds it feels notchy like there isnt enough fluid in (but its to the correct level). I have UK clocks fitted, there is not signs of leaks and the belt is good. Any ideas folks?

i know the tweed looks pritty disgusting, but looks worse when its stained full of pepsi etc :wack: was thinking of removing the seats (as is only 4 bolts) and steam cleaning them? this a good idea? or is there something easier/better to get rid of the smell/staines :hurl:

Here is a little surprise that showed up during a cambelt change, this particular zed had been serviced by a main dealer for some years and the owner had decided to not keep paying the high charges. So given the last time the front of the engine was opened up it was in a main dealer`s workshop how odd to see the bulk of the thermostat missing, when the bit left in was removed it was evident the functioning part had been hacksawed off?? very bizzare, oh and the upshot is an overcooled engine running in warm up mode all of the time using excessive fuel and not achieveing full boost. done some searching and a few on here have the evo calipers for there zed how do you find them as compared to the r33 calipers have seen some evo calipers and there quite reasonably priced are they similar sized to the r33 ones? can i use the r33 disks with them? iirc the evo disks are 319 mm i could machine my disks down to 319 from the standard 324 if they will then do for the evo calipers? any thought or suggestions on these looks like a cheaper route to better braking i though
