Does anyone know where i can find a photo of the vaccum line i'm supposed to fit my boost guage too, spent 2 hours getting it through bulk and now im sick , just dont want to cut the wrong pipe...i have no clue at all which one.:(

would a skyline gearbox fit in a 300zx? if not do any other gearboxes (that i can find) fit?

OK, turns out it's not the cam timing, it's the cam grind that's off!! Lesson learned: With this sort of valve train if you decrease the base circle of the cam then you have to increase the valve stem length too or the rockers fall off!!! Hence the low power reading, only 8 inlets opening! New cams and 32 extended valves on order now. Bugger. Bugger. Bugger. At least the rockers didn't jam something up and snap the timing chains. One did come through the top of the rocker box though!

Anyways...........It looked quite tidy sitting on the street when i went past, and basically i think this would be quite a nice zed to get especially at that price, could probs pick it up for £1500, just needs some TLC. I need help, some dingbat has gone and broken my aerial - i still have it but it is completely removed from the car and the metal has snapped off completely. How hard is it to replace old with new? someone told me that i'd have to chase the cable all the way back to the head unit!!! this doesn't sound right to me as the motor still works - i can hear it going when you switch the engine off. Help me please guys Ta

fitted profec to both mine and cousins zx i used fuel line he used vacum hose problem is mine seems to do nothing even on highest settings the highest boost i made is 12psi my cousins one works fine could it be fuel line closing up its 6 mm fuel line cousins is 6 mm vacum hose blue stuff any help appreciated thankyou

Last night we got the lump out of the zed, and she's now ready for phase two, which involves cash leaving my pocket. That's gonna take a while, there's sod all in there to start with. The plan is to spend about £1200 on parts, and about £400 on machine work at the engine shop. I'm hoping to get her up to 500bhp by the end of this, but I'd be happy if she ran at standard power, to be honest. I'm doing this with no help, no haynes manual, and no 15mm 1/2" drive socket. This was the end result last night......

Hi all, has anyone changed their clutch master cylinder? The clutch line connects to the bottom of my cylinder but every cylinder i've looked at on the net has the clutch line connect on the side. Has anyone else had this problem?:headvswal

Would prefer one that has its own little fan as opposed to the huge mother on the standard ones. Has to be COOOOLLLL with my engine upgrade to keep the water cool. Hi guys, Is there anyone on here thats living in Ireland that would have a spare twin turbo flywheel?? It seems the clutch that came with my manual conversion is for a NA zed and has lasted only 2 weeks! So my car is sitting in the garage with a new Exedy clutch to be fitted but it won't go onto the flywheel.. ANY HELP OUT THERE ?? Thanks... Richie

ok here goes. i am looking to get hold of a manual conversion kit. I did see one on ebay a few weeks back but has now been sold :( i cannot find one anywhere. The other option i have is to rebuild mine... What parts would i need to rebuild it (hopefully with stronger parts) and roughly how much am i looking at to do it myself? i see Z1 sell a manual box without parts needed for around £700 delivered and £1300 with parts. do other boxes fit? i do not have room for another zed to be broken for parts otherwise i would of done so. looks like i will never find the manual box again at this rate :( any ideas peeps or how to get manual or how to…

What is the best product for cleaning off all the oil and grease from the engine. I have an engine that i am splitting up for spares and would like to clean the cylinder heads etc once they are removed. Any suggestions?

I'm in the garage with the engine split from the box.. as in all the bolts are undone, and all the wires disconnected, the engine pulls as far as enough to see the fly wheel, but the box won't seperate completely... It's an auto box jap model, can anyone tell me what I've missed?
