Can any1 gimme a ruf estimate of what it should cost for a cam belt change on a 90tt please.

Heres a few pics of the plenum off jobbie, I found it quite easy, but still took a couple of hours, the little pipes are a pain to get off and took me a while to find the hidden bolt by cylinder 1!! I broke a connector and the oil filler cap whilst pulling the plenum :cursing: Had a little polish of the rocker covers and got my stuff ready for chroming and polishing :devil: tommorrows job is hide all the wires and fuse box!!:ph34r:

Filling that is , got the front wing blended and then got the side primed , just doing the door but they,re a pain cos there not flat along it,s length they,re concave , a fair bit more at the bottom and then nearly flat across the top so it,s taking a bit to get them blended nicely :crying:

Hi, really interested in increasing the power of my 91 jap import manual tt but not really to sure how to do it... was thinking of an chipped ecu but don't have a clue about them or even fitting one :huh:. just went to take the Mrs and little one up to mcdonald, heading up the A45 doing 50, next thing you know revs shot up out of the blue boost hit and in the blink of an eye the rear went, corrected the first part, but then the snap back got me and the back end spun out, after a brief moment of facing on coming traffic, i see the central reservation barrier approaching, so turned the wheel to get the rear to take the hit. by this point car had slowed to around 30mph when the rear passenger side took the hit. Trying to find the camera memory card. but passenger side exhaust is fooked. and the rear passenger side panel has taken damage to the out side panel only. i know…

Is there such a thing as a road side noise test the police can do? Im looking at getting decats for my na zed but its loud at the moment and I dont wan't to have problems in the future. Now it might just be me but my car is very loud and sets car alarms off when I drive past in town now so if its get louder :lol: My m.o.t station told me that the police can give you a fine or make you change the exhaust if its too loud. Is this right? Also will the japspeed decats fit a na auto zed? I remember something about them not fitting in the past Cheers for any help

hi,have just taken some 3 point harnesses out & put old belt fastener back in.where does the cable for the warning lihgt plug in?somewhere under seat maybe?

Hopefully JeffTT or someone might know the answer to this! When fitting the Hicas eliminator bar yesterday I stupidy broke off the left hand connector on the back of my UK Diff! Any idea what the left and right connectors do?

Had a great day on the Zed yesterday sorting out a boost leak I had on the passenger Turbo. Not your normal kind of vaccumme boost leak but where the Intake Pipe join's the turbo, had a leak from the join as the gasket had failed and was sucking in un metered air. The Zed pull's a lot better now it's sorted! Thanks to DannZX for the gasket paper! :bow: Here's how we did it... The black metal pipe that bolts to the Turbo. On closer inspection silicone was used to seal where the pipe meets the turbo. This obviously failed.. Metal pipe face. Ive changed my rear bumper, what options do I have for fog lights. Is there a way to add a fog light to the standard rear light clusters. Or any other nice looking/clean options.

Hi, im planning a manual conversion in my SWB auto TT and have found a good manual conversion from a 2+2. I have been told the prop shafts for both versions are the same and are only different in the N/A or TT versions. Can anyone confirm or rubbish this? Cheers, Liam.
