Can someone enlighten me as to why the front tyres seem to be a 40 profile and the rears a 35? Aesthetically it would look better with a shallower profile on the front, is there a particular reason the fronts have a deeper profile?

Hi, I've been trying to to as much mods right now and removal as much as i can when my plenum is off, just being trying to clean up as much of the engine as possable. So, problem is i've removed so much i'm now stuck as to what goes where ! I've removed what i think is the PRVR which is next to the battery, one hose which is still left goes down the passengers side and connects into a y piece. Can this y piece be taken off and a straight joint be put on now ? Pic below show y piece and the thicker black pipe was going to the PRVR. This is the other end which is now cut ! Theres a bunch of other vacuum pipes i've remo…

Hopefully one of you experts will know what it is and where it should be plugged into (or should that be "into where it should be plugged" :) ). This is on my 1993 S3 Auto 2+2 NA if it makes any difference. Thanks in advance - Gio

Hi All. The heaters on my Uk Z32 mirrors are not working. Are they on the same fuse as the rear window, as that works fine? Any other obvious places to look, as I cannot be certain that the mirrors are the originals? The motors are working fine. Cheers

i have heard that phrase touted around recently on here and elsewhere. I dont subscribe to it all all. So here is an example to discuss..................................... The story. Bobgenie and myself needed some nice interior to finish off his new white Slicktop. And a few more bits n bobs too. I also was short of some odds n ends for my own project so when someone local gave up on his 300ZX due to the headgasket starting to go I bought it. although its a J spec Ser 1 it had been fitted with a mint ser 2 Alcantara interior!! Just what Bob needed. Most of the rest is not needed. Its a 2+2 TT auto with a UK rear bumper fitted??? I wouldnt dream of trying …

Heres a few pics of the plenum off jobbie, I found it quite easy, but still took a couple of hours, the little pipes are a pain to get off and took me a while to find the hidden bolt by cylinder 1!! I broke a connector and the oil filler cap whilst pulling the plenum :cursing: Had a little polish of the rocker covers and got my stuff ready for chroming and polishing  tommorrows job is hide all the wires and fuse box!!

Filling that is , got the front wing blended and then got the side primed , just doing the door but they,re a pain cos there not flat along it,s length they,re concave , a fair bit more at the bottom and then nearly flat across the top so it,s taking a bit to get them blended nicely :crying:

just went to take the Mrs and little one up to mcdonald, heading up the A45 doing 50, next thing you know revs shot up out of the blue boost hit and in the blink of an eye the rear went, corrected the first part, but then the snap back got me and the back end spun out, after a brief moment of facing on coming traffic, i see the central reservation barrier approaching, so turned the wheel to get the rear to take the hit. by this point car had slowed to around 30mph when the rear passenger side took the hit. Trying to find the camera memory card. but passenger side exhaust is fooked. and the rear passenger side panel has taken damage to the out side panel only. i know…
