It was a manual, now on the auto when I press the brake pedal the cockpit dispays dim and I can hear a relay click from the auto gear selector. :confused1: Anbody any ideas, as I can't seem to sus it out? Its ok when the lights are already on but this happens when the lights are off, I cant keep driving round with the lights on all the time lol cheers

I was driving down the motorway today at normall speed:biggrin: and the car had a vibration which could only be described as a pulsing sensation? it would vibrate then disapear, then vibrate and disapear on and off at around 80mph? The steering also feels quite sensitive and loose? cheers James

Can someone enlighten me as to why the front tyres seem to be a 40 profile and the rears a 35? Aesthetically it would look better with a shallower profile on the front, is there a particular reason the fronts have a deeper profile?

In my quest to tidy the cluttered engine bay I have a few ideas! so could you lot cast you beady eyes over just to make sure i wont hit any problems doing the things i want? I will be buying a rear engine bay cover from z-centre to hide all the nastys at the rear of the bay so.... 1. I propose to put my power steering pot beside the brake cylinder? I will need to elongate the pipes approx 18"? ok? 2. Under the battery tray there is JUST, enough room to relocate the fuse box, I will need to cut and replace approx 50 wires, thats 100 solder joints!!! will i ruin any resistance in lenthing the wires?? 3. Relocate the fuel filter beside the battery? just e…

Hi, I've been trying to to as much mods right now and removal as much as i can when my plenum is off, just being trying to clean up as much of the engine as possable. So, problem is i've removed so much i'm now stuck as to what goes where ! I've removed what i think is the PRVR which is next to the battery, one hose which is still left goes down the passengers side and connects into a y piece. Can this y piece be taken off and a straight joint be put on now ? Pic below show y piece and the thicker black pipe was going to the PRVR. This is the other end which is now cut ! Theres a bunch of other vacuum pipes i've remo…

There I was trying to get the Consult working and I noticed this waving about in the breeze. Hopefully one of you experts will know what it is and where it should be plugged into (or should that be "into where it should be plugged" :) ). This is on my 1993 S3 Auto 2+2 NA if it makes any difference. Thanks in advance - Gio

Hi All. The heaters on my Uk Z32 mirrors are not working. Are they on the same fuse as the rear window, as that works fine? Any other obvious places to look, as I cannot be certain that the mirrors are the originals? The motors are working fine. Cheers

i have heard that phrase touted around recently on here and elsewhere. I dont subscribe to it all all. So here is an example to discuss..................................... The story. Bobgenie and myself needed some nice interior to finish off his new white Slicktop. And a few more bits n bobs too. I also was short of some odds n ends for my own project so when someone local gave up on his 300ZX due to the headgasket starting to go I bought it. although its a J spec Ser 1 it had been fitted with a mint ser 2 Alcantara interior!! Just what Bob needed. Most of the rest is not needed. Its a 2+2 TT auto with a UK rear bumper fitted??? I wouldnt dream of trying …
