I’m currently at Chris Karl’s place (ZSPEC) out in Ohio and these are going to be launched soon. Until recently, they’ve only sold US versions which have the key hole, these are now Euro/JDM compatible. I know Howard was after a set and AndrewG, well they’re soon to be released if anyone is interested - let me know.

My brakes squeak something rotten ! Can anyone recommend a fix ? My front calipers are off an R33 GTS so if I need new pads can anyone recommend a good set ? I am old and drive like it so no need for anything leaning toward 'track'. Thanks Mark

Hi guys As I am under the car doing the auto to manual conversion thought I would replace diff oil. Does any one know how much I will need and what is the correct oil ie is the Europarts one ok to use? Thanks

Hi my old front stabiliser rods had to be cut off so I ordered new ones. This should be simple, new OEM ones arrived no nuts, great look in my drawers find correct size nut only to find the thread is different. I can’t seem to find the part number or spec on what the nut should be, am I going mad or will be soon. Nissan OEM 54668-33P00 Front Stabilizer Sway Bar Endlink.

Hi all, I seem to have developed a coolant leak. Only noticed it once parked up this morning and saw steam coming from left side at the bottom of the windscreen. Only seems like a very slow leak, I can hear it dripping onto something hot, I guess onto the turbo. Car hasn't overheated or anything. I've had a good poke around and I cant really see where its coming from. From under the car I can just about see the end of a ropey and damp rubber hose on the passenger side as it goes into a hard line which looks like its part of the turbo. I cant see a thing from above. The hose is just above the passenger side turbo, almost between the turbo and the gearbox bell housin…

well car is idling like a dog could'nt find a vac leak so tool the maf of and it idles smooth at 750rpm so get the multimeter on the maf, its 0.39v on ignition and should be 0.8v if i've read that right and on idle its giving 1.28v which is well in the middle of 0.8v-1.5v so hmm any thoughts chaps ? or suggestions i've cleaned the connections theres no corrosion on any of them which i couldnt believe .... so still thinking the maf is maybe half dead :hammer:

hi guys going to be looking at changing my exhaust later this year hopefully, i've currently got a power flow system (which i'm not to pleased with the quality of it) the system i currently have on is 2.5" downpipes to replace the cats, into a 2.5" system which goes straight through to a single back box on each side with no x pipe, i have no idea if they are mufflers or resonators as the invoice just says tail pipes slash cut. anyhow i wanted something a little more subtle at the moment it's loud on idle & lower revs then is a lot quieter when i hit the 60mph range. i was after something quieter on idle with a bit more grunt higher up the rev range. any ideas what i s…

On the way home today I dropped a cylinder. Thankfully it turned out to be a loose injector connector and upon inspection the retaining clip had broken away. Is it possible to replace these connectors, are they easy to replace and where can I buy them from? Cheers, Chris.

Thinking of swapping out the plugs as I’ve no idea how old they are, but I can’t get to #2 or #3 because the previous owner fitted a Central 20 bracing strut which completely obscures them. The strut is bolted directly onto the studs on the front suspension turrets. Maybe a stupid question, but is it safe to undo the stud nuts to remove the strut with the car’s weight on its wheels? Logic says the weight of the car should hold everything where it is, but I’d like a better-informed opinion before I risk collapsing the whole front end! Thanks in advance

Afternoon, Looks like my oil leak is just rocker cover gaskets :clap: Replacing perished pipes while I'm at it - I'm looking for a couple. Can someone point me in the right direction - where's best to get them - is there anywhere in the UK? Any advice on other things while the top's off? Thanks in advance David I need (pics below)... Cos I'm on holiday and can't look, but want to order stuff before I get home lol.... I know the bulb is a H1. But when I look at a bulb guide, the picture shows a connector thingy. I don't recall that and there isn't one on the z when it's come back. Just a connector like in the second photo. Am I missing something here?

Can anyone help, I need some injector plugs ASAP. My car is booked to go on display at a local show and developed a misfire. I have got it in at the garage who has found the plastic injector plugs have gone all green and I need to get some more so I can get the car back going. Ordered at the Z Centre but they have run out of stock. Thanks Scott

I usually take the Z to the continent a couple of times a year, however I haven't done what I call a 'long' road trip since AndrewG and I went down to Monaco a few years ago; our route was via 'Route Napoleon' and back through Italy over the Great St Bernard Pass, through Switzerland and back home. Both Joel and Andrew are out of action this year due to other commitments, however I'm desperate to take my Z on a long jaunt. Next year will be a much bigger one with Andrew and hopefully Joel, however I've almost finished booking up the trip for this September. Hi all, as the title says i have no lights for horn. Rear light ok, side lights, ok fog lights ok. I can hear the relays clicking under the bonnet but no lights. Are there any common issues that can relate to all that going at once. Cheers Jonce

I have a bit of renewed interest in my Z32, but before I start investigating my mild overheat I want to replace every coolant hose in and around the engine because I know for a fact I have about 3 leaks in mysterious places. So does anyone sell an uprated silicone kit?
