Hi I have a n/a auto and im thinking about convert it to a tt manual i know this has been done by a few members on here but what work is in volved in doing this do i need to change the loom or can i use the n/a one any info would be great full. many thanks paul

Ok firstly apologies for all the questions today, i have a week off coming up and plan on a few days in the garage working on the zed. I have a lockout bar fitted and really want to remove all the gubbins in the bay to clean it up a bit. Now i believe i have to cut a pipe and join it to another one then i can rip out all hicas related bits. Now does anyone have a picture they could point out the 2 pipes i need to join??

Just a quick question, What can i do to have brighter headlights??? They were really poor when i first got the zed, then i fired in some nightbreakers and tbh they are still B******S!!! Any suggestions? is it a common issue?

Wierd problem here, just got my car back from phil. Some amazing work he has done. And for the first few days back all has been well. But today, had a nice drive around, no mad driving, just cruising, and now this problem has come back, had it before all the works been done. So, the problem, bear with me. Car isnt hitting full boost (16psi), is controlled by greddy e01 controller, and monitered by the e01 screen and a greddy aftermarket gauge. The screen reads a steady 5psi and the aftermarket guage reads 14psi ish (is in kg/cm2). i could tell the problems had returned because the boost at idle is -15.9psi on the greddy screen, think its normally 14 or under. …

Ok, been thinking that since the 300 is in need of paint and i have a few ideas i want to try out that i would start prepping the car. Now my idea was just to do what needs to be done and primer it, but since it's gonna be maybe after xmas before i have the cash for a respray i thought i could use satin black which i can get from work cheap as chips. Now this would defo only be a temp job so i can get any imperfections sorted and also do a few mods while im at it. Question is if i use satin black and spray the whole car when it comes to the full respray ( done by a pro ) will it just be a case of keying up the satin black or will it react with the paint going on top…

At first very good boost, but around 5-6K - boost gets cut off .. ideas?

Hi all, I started fitting the exhaust today but when i fitted the decats to the down pipes i noticed the drivers side pipe was sitting in a total different position to the other. It sits about 2 inches higher so its impossible to fit the pipe on to the gearbox exhaust bracket. Has anyone else come across this problem? Im guessing im going to need to find someone with a pipe bender :angry:

Hi all, Done a lot of jobs today which 1 was fitting the exhaust brackets and part of the exhaust. Does anyone know what the big weight is for thats attached to the gearbox mount? Ive got one bracket with out and another with..for the moment ive fitted the 1 without as it just seems like added weight i dont need. Thanks Dan

im new to electronic boost controllers, but i think mines set up wrong.... my car was chipped and fitted with boost jets by zedworld last year, i since fitted a blitz boost controller, when i fitted it i removed the boost jets, but left the solenoids in place (wanted to maintain safety boost etc) finally got my new gearbox fitted today so was able to take my zed on a proper drive for the first time in months. the problem is my boost is all over the place, with the controllers gain set to off and/or 0 my boost is anywhere between 11- 14 psi???? (reading on the boost controller and my after market gauge) i thought it would revert to std with no jets????…

hey got 2 ecu's with my 300, has anyone got any info on them First one is central 20 racing team remanufacured ecu not socketed The second is a Marche ecu socketed looks like maybe a switchable map aswell?? Can i change the chip in either of these as im looking to buy a CZP chip

HI guys, been doing a few bits to the zed over the last week, and now found rear subframe bushes dripping, stripped it off and heated up and knocked old ones out are stock bushes available or aftermarket, what's your opinions on the ones to buy and where from. Looks like the zed is gonna b off the rd for a while now, looks like a bloody breaker on the drive, no bumpers, wings, subframe not much left on it lol. Think I'm just gonna pull the engine out now too, have spare engine what was gonna rebuild and swap over when done. Wanna spray engine bay again so why it's all stripped may has well pull it and get whole car sprayed for the 4th tim…

As the title says, is there anyone in telford able to go view a zed for me? Really want to know if it has any rust on the rear arches / sills (might be hard to check due to body kit) and what the engine bay looks like / has any over heating issues? Hi guys, got wings, bumpers, doors etc off my zed, trying to align the doors so they shut with the gaps perfect, reshelled my car and used doors and wings etc from my other zed. Think I'm being really fussy but where the door meets rear quarter just under windows it sticks out slightly, are there any bodywork genius that have any tips or is it just play with the hinges to I get it right. How close were zeds panels when new were they pretty much spot on, Thanks guys.

Not ofen seen on a zed but these pair of cats had self detonated to the point where there was debris through the rest of the system, not much hope for these pair of pussy`s. Jeff TT

Hi everyone Does anyone know whether you should be able to turn the pulley on the air con compressor (pump) by hand once it has been removed and is lying on the workbench or is it really difficult, i.e doesn´t move even slightly ? As always, any help greatly appreciated. Maz

Yep - today discovered that all my glow plugs are black.. Car been standing (except for little movement out of garage) for 7 months.. Is it ok?

Bad brakes may not always be what you think. Case in point, a zed having multi jobs done had a reported poor brakes and the owner requested we change the front discs amd pads, this is a very common problem and blaming the front disc set up is not always the way to go, a quick inspection of the rear discs revealed much more. The rear of the discs condition was worse than the front, with so little pad swept area actually doing anything this transfers more load to the fronts so they end up heating up much quicker and performance drops off, as it happens the front discs and pads were ok. The inside of the discs were also in a bad way with lots…
