  4. These ones I took after some "model" asked if they could get some pictures with the car. but for the life of me I can't find the photo's the actual photographer took. I hope to god they're better than the "models" Please don't think that this is the average calibre of girls in my local Teesside area, there are better...honest :whistling: managed to find this one after searching facebook.

Just got my speaker boxes today from craig (thanks again) although i'm a little puzzled as to the wiring arrangement. embarrassing for an electrician, but in my defense it is for a car. There are two cables (green and orange) with spade connectors, i'm assuming these are the two for my speaker, and then there's is a 4 pin plug. with another pair of green an orange, and also a brown and black. I'm once again assuming that the green and orange would be to connect to my existing speaker cables that return to my headunit. and then the other two must then be a live and neutral for the amplifiers. If I am correct then does that mean I need to run a switched live …

My car has the standard recircs on, is there any benefit to fitting aftermarket bovs such as HKS SSQV`s? Also, is it best to fit 2 or plumb 1 in?? Thanks, Dan

Hi guys recently i've noticed a slight vibration on my Z tt which i believe is the prop. the car was recently converted from a auto to manual a few months ago by previous owner. i know that it had an N/A subframe and gearbox, i only feel the vibration between 30 - 40 mph and goes away after that. If the prop was taken apart and not aligned right can this caues the problem? and if so how can i tell if the prop's aligned? would appreciate any help cheers guys

Hi, I'm sure I remember a post somewhere where the rear drain pipes were adapted so they allowed water to run out cleanly and not allow water to sit on the bodywork/chassis, for the life of me I can't find it. Does it ring any bells with anyone? Cheers Vijay

Hi all, As my previous thread one side of my exhaust is lower than the other...I contacted Greg Dupree at SpecialityZ and told him what ive come across. He explained that it looks like one manifold has not been centrered correctly as the bolt holes on the manifolds are larger than the studs to allow for expansion. I really dont want to take the engine out and strip it down again after all the dramas previous and recently getting so far with it. Im hoping these manifolds are ported a bit larger than the stock head ports so the ports wont be over lapping otherwise im giving up!

ive got a little idea in my head that includes using bailey dv26s they might not be the first name that pop in your head for bovs but they have been a long standing favorite in the ford scene for years now. the fantastic thing about them is they are common as muck. prices for a brand new one range from 75 to 90 quid each. so not cheap cheap but far cheaper than hks or equalivent. the base is 25mm and they can be adjusted upto 60psi. looking about you can pick them up singly very cheaply. less than £30 each. my question is this aside from buying a matching pair of dv26s and bunging up the recirc line and fitting them to the correct line, what else would i need…

Managed to fit my FMIC this weekend, despite thunder storms. The car is running fine, cant believe the power its added! Just got a couple of little issues. First issue is, the bumper brace bar wouldnt fit back on over the FMIC, even with the middle cut out, so no more fog lights. My question is how deep are intercooler ducts? I only have about 5mm clearance between the bumper and the intercooler, and how to they fit? Do they need to be bonded or do they screw into the bumper? Second little issue is, when i removed the brace bar i found a small black box screwed to it. I have no idea what this is or what it does, so i've relocated it and bolted it to the same pla…

Ok firstly apologies for all the questions today, i have a week off coming up and plan on a few days in the garage working on the zed. I have a lockout bar fitted and really want to remove all the gubbins in the bay to clean it up a bit. Now i believe i have to cut a pipe and join it to another one then i can rip out all hicas related bits. Now does anyone have a picture they could point out the 2 pipes i need to join??
