Ive just swapped over my seized UK front calipers for my spare jap calipers that fully work, tried bleeding, and the colour of the old fluid is a dirty grey in the the japs, but i renewed the fluid in my zed about 8 months ago, so thats fine, but with a neighbour that tried to help by pressing the brake, its not clearing the air, has anyone used easi bleed kits, the ones that connect to the spare tyre?

Hey is there anywhere you can buy new sills from I've repaired one side but the other the hole keepers getting bigger as I pull at the rust, so it would be easier to replace the whole sill if possible Where can I get them from and roughly how much? Paul

After been offered a gizzmo boost controller second-hand was just wondering is it easy 2 install/set-up as theres no install manual with it, anybody know of any handy links/guides to install and setup? Cheers

This winter my car is coming off the road to have its sills replaced and rear steering system removed, I have messaged littlebird on ebay re some sills but he has not got back to me, some weeks ago now :( where can I get some from? Also, are the targe drains best being relocated? How and where is the best way to do this? Many thanks, Dan

PS when I got home my spare alloys that I had left balancing precariously at the top of the stairs (seemed like a good idea at the time) had fallen down all by themselves wedging my front door shut so i couldn't get in. An hour of struggling, sweat pouring down my face, arm squeezed through letter box (thanksfully a vertical one low down) trying to move 4 randomly piled alloys out the way with one hand at a time...eventually with the help of a rake handle for leverage I manag…

Pretty self explanatory... Have a few bits that need sorting on my Zed, been in touch with Jeff at Zedworld but thats about 2 and a half hours away from me. Does anyone know of a place closer to me? Within about an hours drive or so? I'm based just west of York. Thanks Alex

fit somebrembro discs and calipers today bled up brakes but pedal travel is longer than before with the standard set up just wondered if id missed bleeding somewhere car stops and there is no apparent loss of fluid it feels like there is air in the system can anyone help

I'm trying to fit the bose speaker boxes today. it turns out the wiring is already there with the correct plugs to fit. however its not working, the speakers work without the little amp but not with. unfortunately i've left my multimeter at work so i don't know if there's voltage there. So i'm guessing because the car wasn't fitted with them originally then it'll just be missing the fuse. but seen as though my fuse board label is in hieroglyphics i have no idea where to start. and the search function isn't helping me. Anyone able to shed some light?

well doing my steering rack boots today all way going well untill the lock nut on the n/s seized in the wrong place... :headvswal so got one side set-up right but the other is 3 turns too far in, my question is, can i use washers to bring out the rod end? there is no way of budging the nut, short of cutting it off. spent an hour fighting it.

Need some help and guidance on my 300.... in the attempt to disconnect the antenna all my internal electric including the radio fail to work now, i have tried to check the fuse but all seem's fine but not 100% which fuse i should be looking at? when i start the 300 there is a constant light on the dashboard (indicating a door is open when its not) so im not sure if there is a short somewhere? need some help here please if anyone can help???? thanks

According to the service history my car had a new radiator fitted 3 years and 9k miles ago when the auto to manual conversion was completed. Unfortunately the viscous fan casing has been rubbing on the fins and has now holed the radiator, the fins of the radiator actually protrued past the radiator frame thus allowing this to occur. I'm looking to get an aftermarket radiator that has the fins recessed so this won't happen again but also a radiator that will just slot straight in place with no modifications to anything else It such a radiator available?

When i stopped at a set of traffic lights this morning on my way home from work i noticed spoke coming from under the bonnet. I lifted the bonnet to see oil all over the battery and surrounding area. When i shone a light on it i noticed the Dipstick had been blown out a good inch or so. I'm guessing this isnt a good thing, but what is the cause? I recently installed a FMIC, which upped the boost to around 1.4 bar, and noticed on the way home it was only boosting to around 1.2 bar. I imagine the boost is a result of the problem, if not the cause. Any help and advise would be greatly apreciated. I'm very worried about this!! :(

My UK Spec came with a boost controller a Blitz Duel SBC to be exact. Now the guy who sold me the car said it was in before he got it and the way i understood it was OFF = Stock Numbers 1 - 4 are pre-set pressure levels M = manual now ive never really messed with it much, sure played with levels 1-4 and there is a definite difference between 1 and 4 that's for sure. Curiosity got the better of me and i turned it to OFF today, and i appeared to have the same power more more of level 4, infact better response through the entire rev range. what is a fair price for a manual tt prop shaft complete with a half decent centre bearing. i found one on ebay for £170 that seems a tad steep to me.

hi guys yes you guessed it more problems for love no money can I get the lights connected to the exsisting lights seems like a different plug mine is rectangular and the hid one is oval anybody encounted this before Also the loom for the front light shares to high beam how do you get round this cut plug on main light only? is this job possible with the heads still on the block, when ive done the job previously on other cars the head has had to come off to clamp the valve and spring to remove the locating piece. but im aware with teh correct tool on some cars its possible without such in depth issues. however if the cam has to come out, the head may aswel really i suppose. just curious really.

....any ideas why?? :) I've stripped the entire interior including dash. New engine in and running, but e gauge cluster ain't working. I double checked, and I've defo plugged it in :)

Well i have decided im selling the zed as i just dont use it, ill probably regret it but never mind. I keep an eye on ebay and pistonhead's to see what they are making and they never sell for what they are worth so im 50/50 about breaking it or just advertisng it for weeks on end. I wouldnt let it go for less than £3250 which ill probably struggle to get even though its a pretty clean uk TT manual. My question is to the guys who have broken there zed's how much do you get back when you break them? would i get more if i stuck to my guns and went for the £3250 or would i get more in bits easier? I really dont want to break it but im being realistic abou…
