I removed my pcv tonight to see if it was clogged, once removed I shook it and it rattled, this shows its good, correct? Inside the pipe there was a small round metal restrictor, I dont remember this being there when I purchased the new hoses 2 years ago, what is this for, why is it there? Its just pushed in halfway down the tube... Thanks, Dan

Couple of daft ones; need to test the temp sensor, think its knackered. What should the resistance range be from cold to warm? Best place to purchase a temp sender from as well please... Is safety boost 4 psi? im sure I read on a previous thread if you disconnect the battery for a couple of hours it will reset? Is that correct? Or ive fit the gauge wrong...lol.....

Can anyone recommend a company that can provide this service? Also, any advice on the subject welcomed :)

As per the title, I need a silly or amusing name for my Zed. I normally go for something that rhymes or alliterates, but not too bothered as long as it sounds good. Old woman names are normally half decent. I've had a brain dead weekend so has anyone got any good suggestions? Cheers :D Alex

how knows what colour wires is speed sensor, from gearbox to connector near driver side headlight. Loom is called Alternator harness. I just need to connect speed sensor wires.

My car has been smoking from passenger side for some time now, changed pcv valves and it still the same, so was thinking next step is to change the turbocharger, are these best being done in pairs or can one be done? Where is the best place to purchase a new stock turbo or two slightly upgraded turbos? Thanks, Dan

As above, engines gonna cone out as im sure is turbo failure. Now once its out. And theyre off rebuilt etcwhat do I need to know? How do you prime them? How do I check the oil ways etc. the more comprehensive and info laden The better :)

Hey Guys, Srry but i am trying to learn about boost increase and how its achieved. (learning curve) am i right in thinking you need either one to increase boost to 14 psi? But which procedure is better? with the boost controller would you be able to have low and high boost setups?

Hey Guys, I was wondering has anyone seen a zed e.g red but then the middle, top and back are black? I saw a car recently on the road with similar styling and it looked really good. Would it look good or horrible on z?? Trying to get some opinions on the idea. Just asking due to curiosity!! :shifty:

Might be a good one for the FAQ's section once answered. What parts can be changed between the 2 cars? My main question is are the wings the same?

i only really use my zed at weekends when the suns out and have a problem when i first start her, takes about 2 turns of the key but once shes fires up shes fine for the rest of the day ,jeff said to try changing the pump ecu so got one from zedworld and swopped it but seems to still be the same, im going to give him a call tomorrow see what else he thinks it could be ,,just seeing if anone else has come across this problem before take alook at my vid i done see what you think

What oil are guys using and what grade just trying to get an idea of which to use

Can anyone tell me if these have a name, and if I can buy replacements? They link the rear subframe to the chassis. As you can see, mine aren't good, I'd rather buy new than try to salvage... Cheers

hi all please can you help, I started my 300 zx fair lady drove down the road and park up and noticed water pouring out from under car drivers side, I have since topped it back up and drove back and water has no sign if leaking again please any surgestions.

Got my wheels back last week after they were away for a repair, they had one small crack which needed welded and then a few bad kirb marks needed tidied up; after which they got done in black. Now i've got the wheels back done i just need to do a pre mot check, get the whole setup 4 wheel alighned then get the mot itself, then the tax too. Turns out to be a bloody expensive month for me. All the wheels need is new centre caps and i've been looking arround for red rim bolts to match the studs.

Got it back from the body shop on Thursday, managed to get it cleaned up and out for a drive today. Got my front bumper fixed to, but the colour match is horrific, don't think there's much i can do about it though. Managed to fit my bose speaker boxes yesterday too. took me ages, i couldn't remove the back of the seat so i couldn't get the trim all the way out so i had to just squeeze them in. couldn't get the amps to work either so may have to find out my little amp in the not too distant future. Managed to get some import size plates from ebay, think the front ones blocking my intake a bit more but it looks loads better.
