My requirements are Must have total closure Central locking ability have my own actuator for that already Silent alarm setting Immobiliser Passive alarm setting Cat 1 certified I used to have a clifford concept 650 which was the muts nuts, but the ones on eBay are just the basic models now, unless anyone has a breaker with a decent alarm on it they can get out the car in such a way as to be able to refit it With out going into detail of what alarm you have on your motors for security reasons, what would you recommend? im looking for feedback on the multitude of upper link,arms available on the market today. i have powertrix ones which look identical to the driftworks/z1 motorsport, i feel these ones are flawed in there design as the do.collar clamps down onto a very thin section of the adjuster and on my ones it has sheered off under the collar the other ones i have been looking at are the japspeed ones which are also on the z centre and were sold by 2 fast 2 cool. i prefer that design as the whole adjuster body is used to clamp on the thread. anybody heard anything bad about this type of design?? im desperate to try and get a better type of upper link arm as …

This has been happening for a while now but want to get it sorted. So, under normal driving te car is fine, but if you've just had your foot planted and then you put the clutch down the car's revs can drop off. The natural thought is the idle control valve, so that's been replaced and it still happens. Any other thoughts before I come to a corner and the revs drop and put me in the hedge cos the wheel went tight lol

Ok, I`m finally getting to the bottom with my starting issues!! The car wouldn't start at all tonight and it stinks of neat fuel from the exhausts I have found that the fuel pump is pumping even with no key in the ignition!! Its making its pumping sound and also there is a hissing sound in the engine bay by the fuel pressure regulator!! Is this normal? why is the fuel pump on all the time? any help is appreciated Thanks Daz

Quick question. what bulb is used in our zeds? i'm pretty sure its a h3 fitment but i've seen some kits on fleabay for the 300zx with a h1 fitment. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please.

Car was all ready for its 4 wheel alignment this morning then its MOT would be at 3:30 But its developed a really annoying screech and a smell of burning rubber and i've no idea what it is ! I've checked round the full car and although the camber is completely off aswell as the tracking none of the tyres are rubbing anywhere and i'm now at a loss what to do. I'm missed my slot for the 4 wheel alignment and i'll miss the MOT today as it likelt wont pass with bad alighment. So my trip to JAE this year might be at a loss too:angry:

Just felt like I need a rant. So I'm looking for a front wing from a black K reg Zed. http://www.japparts.com in teesside have a back bumper from the car. So naturally I called them to say, I need the wing from the car if possible. Anyway, they've said that they won't guarantee colours. So I can order a wing however I will just get whatever they take off whatever car they have. So even if they have the car in the right colour I might get a different one. MOT time and its booked in for 3pm tomorrow. Done all the usual MOT checks but one thing (its always one) has presented itself as a wonder ! After the zed being off the road for nearly three months all was well untill about an hour ago where i notice the door illumination on the dash won't go out and when i checked that all doors are shut it stays firmly lit. Would that wee bulb cause my zed to fail its mot ? A few things i've done to test the door circuits is to close and alarm the car then manually open the door to see if the alarm will trigger which it does for the two doors but not for the boot so i check the boot circuit and when disconect…

Thought id post a quick result of the mapping session with John Dixon Well, it didnt quite go to plan. Basically, the conzult data port on my zed has some of connection issue that ment that johns software couldnt get a consistant live stream of information, which basically meant it was nigh on impossible to map. We also found the the Deatschwerk 550cc injectors were doing some very odd things. For some reason on the mapping scales they give the scale values of 440cc injectors. All very odd and ive contacted CZP and Deatschwerk to find out whats going on (the injectors came with a flow chart which showed rates of between 545 and 549cc). The combination of th…

Without being a tiny Japaneses person how do you get the room the remove the headlight bulbs?

As above really, will be looking to purchase a set of rear lights for the zed in the near future. Obviously there are the 99 spec lights, but are there any aftermarket lights that dont look tacky?? cheers in advance

I've been intrested in getting my car dyno'd and also getting a custom map done. Recently found out from a day trip out to Ace Cafe (london) that there is a local 4WD dyno that do custom mapping. Without giving to much detail as i dont wanna step on any toes, iv spoken to the owners and i popped down while they were having a audi/jap dyno day last sunday and after a bit of conversation they did say that theyre happy to accomadate a dyno day and there special rates would be -10 cars booked would allow a power run at £30 each, i have to say, it sounded cheap so thought id enquire on here first and see If anyone thinks they would be intrested then let me kno…

It is very seldom my 300 is out in the rain but as I am going to be doing a lot of miles next weekend (JAE)and havent driven it in three weeks I wanted to make shure I have no issues so took it for a drive today and it drives like a super car should:biggrin: but comming home it started to rain and I have just put it in the garage wet! I have secure parking at the back of the house but thought it safer putting it in the garage but hate it being in there wet with no wind blowing it dry.So here is my first pictures of my 300 wet and dirty :biggrin:
