Went and picked up my new zed yesterday, mucho respect to Richard smith for that, and what a fantastic AMG he has, me wanty First off a question, did OEM injectors ever come in the color purple as thats what colour my injectors are. Right now thats out the way, 2 kinda major issues. I have no headlights, you turn the dial on, i get no dash lights and no head lights, no rear lights, but i have full beam only, so most likely dodgy wiring connection of some sort. Right i have a hunting idle, the car (i have to check first) is supposed to have 555 nismo injectors, z1 uprated ECU, it has racelogic traction control plumbed in and a HKS turbo timer and EBC t…

I'm finally going to get the car tuned by john dixon on Saturday. So I thought it might be nice for people to guess what power I will come back with (providing it doesn't go tits up) So a basic run down on the spec that'll probably make a difference... Forged internals - eagle rods etc etc Greddy td05 16G turbos 740cc nismo injectors AMS Underdrive pulley New splitfire coilpacks All the usual stuff like air filter and exhaust etc. Southbend clutch and RPS segmented flywheel Can't remember all the other basic stuff So come on guess away. Feel free to ask if anything else is done

Anyone on here who is capable of installing a falcon EVO4+ Pager Alarm with Remote Starter? I managed get hold of one from a friend and i dont think i will be able to do it myself. So anyone? :)

i've recently had an engine fitted and i'm now having electrical problems since the fitting, zedworld and zedcentre seem 2think the loom has being damaged in the process is there anyone in the middlesbrough area who knows what they are doin!!!. also having problems with abs, abs ecu indicates 9 lights (motor relay), i have changed relays on unit and also tested them and they are working fine so i then changed the unit and still getting nine lights on ecu, ive also tested the abs with a second abs ecu and that still states nine lights, any ideas??????.

Wierd??, drove the car out of my garage on Tuesday and started 1st time as it always does, got in it last night and she wouldn't fire and flattened the battery trying :( stuck it on charge all day and tried it again now and nothing :blink:, she turns over fine, immobiliser is off, all dash lights normal, smells a bit petrol`ie` but always does, any suggestions??? :blink: Its never ever not started :(

Just noticed today that, the rear heated window switch that's on the coupe/Targa models, looks like a heated mirror symbol on mine, is this the case? Also, there is a black thin line that runs across the top of the front window, then down the middle to the bottom of the screen, whats this for?

At least I think they are! They keep falling off. Need to buy a new set does anyone know if it's the 60 degree taper nuts? I have stock wheels and brakes and it's an n/a. Thanks

Tested both my 02 sensors last night using the obd2, it is my understanding the check engine light should blink on and off between rich and lean. even after several minutes at 2000rpm it would be lit for a good 30 seconds before it went out for another good 30 seconds and so on. Is this normal? Many thanks Dan

hi all i seem to have gained a water leak into the cabin it's coming dripping from the platic clip that holds the sunvisor (just above the rear view mirror) not a huge leak but all the same a leak, have checked the targa drain and that seems to be connected ok, i also have water ingress around the rear wiper grommet so getting a wet boot every time i open it, mine is just sat on the surface of the tailgate which does not seem right i thought it should of passed therough the tailgate like a normal grommit would, could someone confirm this for me? cheers all

hi some help needed so the story is the following just came back from a drive with wife and kids wasant racing it ,(Z as been working whit no issues for the last few months), parked, then had to go out again so had the car running until it warms up , then went to pull over just stumbled and died. Still starts, engine runs for a few seconds then stumbles again and dies. Checked errors on ecu have code 55 So today made checks on fuel pump, relay and fuse all good and filter is clean to. PTU all good still had a spare one from last time that had connections issues on Z (so i would recognize the issue has i had it before). CAS good to alrea…

Things i have done :) Carbon bonnet wrap, S2 ptu, samco hoses in the engine bay, original 99 spec front spoiler, digital dash, 3 digital gauges in a pillar, 2din stereo, hid`s, relocated side lights to indicators :)

Nice to find something for an NA thats cheaper than its TT equivalent for once. Usually its the other way round. You know the story..... hey guys. does anyone knoe the cheapest place i can get a clutch for a TT? mine has been slipping for a while, but i put my foot down today and went nowhere, the revs just flew up lol, and there was a clutchy smell lol. im really on skint street at the moment and still having to use the zed as a daily to get to work etc. so if anyone can point me in the direstion of a very cheap clutch i would be most appreciative. the car has no crazy mods and was only running 270bhp last check, so any clutch would do i guess. thanks in advance :-)

Are these any good?I know it's not the full software but cheaper than my local garage would charge for a plug in. As after last night boost jets thread I might be suffering from the DET sensor code 34 problem, and would they still fit an aftermarket ECU?

does any one know the pin is for the green wire saying in the manual for IGN Would that be Pin 45 RPM is Taco pin 7 is this right ?

I have 215 45 17 tyres on at the moment and want to know if I could fit Pirelli Asimmetrico 225 45 17 91Y P Zero Tyres without them touching the arches on a standard 90 auto tt lwb import. Cheers.

About to order parts and would like to know if the following are 'one use' items and must be replaced: -Intake valve cover lock crush washers -Turbo copper washers Also, if replacing the rear oil seal will I be removing the cover around it and need a new gasket? Anyone used solid exhaust cam plugs instead of the stock rubber ones? Cheers
