  1. This is the best I could do, photographed the OEM booklet I got with the convertible as it was too big for my scanner. Maybe worth making a sticky somewhere? Enjoy.

  5. Well my car is sorted now running at 13.5psi and hasn't done anything funny in a few weeks , I love it. But, as I no longer have a knock sensor I want to be careful and know that it's always running in safe conditions. I plan to put 3 gauges under the radio I reckon oil temperature boost and air fuel ratio. The other thing worrying me is under bonnet heat, I know it has been hot weather recently but that engine kicks out some heat! I worry about heat soak on the intercoolers which are stock, am I right to think that if I boot it about with hot intercoolers I am one step closer to knock? What are peoples thoughts on turbo bags, exhaust heat wrap, scoops or celic…

Any body have any thoughts on using uk based companies rather then going states side! Been nosing around and z1/conzept etc all want $150 per turbo for exchange so this puts $300 or at todays rate of exchange extra £189 on top of cost of turbos!!! Is this still the cheapest way to go??? There must be companies over here, or is it because of the cost members are importing or are the ones over the pond a better Turbo? Dave

Hi guys, Got a couple of what's this questions. Maintain cos I'm looking around the engine bay for no particular reason. So first, in the front pipes on the passenger side there are 3 hoses, 2 of them go up and along the side of the engine. The 3rd one is the thinnest of them and isn't connected to anything. Is this the pipe that would normally go to the plenum just under the throttle body as it looks like it's capped off there. I have had a plenum bypass done so am I right this pipe is fine to be left or should I block it off at the front of the car too? And I'm I right this is what the pipe is for? The 2nd picture shows the pipe over the fuse box. …

As the title suggests, it seems very sloppy and loose when in Neutral. goes into all gears fine but just feels less smooth around the middle. It feels as if a spring has gone. although it still springs back when its pulled to each side. Anybody help?

got a little Problem with clearance on the steering column and the down pipe been in touch with cpz about this issue and the only suggestion they came up with was to put a Dent/dint in the down pipe to clear the problem .. i did this the other day and its taken 85% of the problem away but the steering still get a little stiff only under hard Left turns ( engine shifting to right and pushing on column ) they all so said try putting on New Engine mounts as the 18 year old ones would be sagging and making the engine site lower than it should but seen a few other types on the interweb like Has any one got experience with ? Ok, been offered a pair of wheels. Now specs on the wheels are 18x12 et20, fronts i can get no issues so not worried about those. So question is can i get away with some stretch, camber and an arch flare? I had planned on some 18x11's for the rear but for the price i think they are worth considering. Before anyne says they are too wide for a zed, I like cars that are all about stance, For me Baz's car is flipping awesome ( only mine is red and i can't get away with the arch extensions he has and i have no intention of going wide arch ).

Hi Guys, I've looked in FAQ's and done a search but couldnt find any info on what I should expect my un modified 1995 N/A to do to the gallon, not massively important but planning a little road trip over the bank hol weekend and just want to buget the trip. I am planning to drive sensibly  I know my old shorty was pretty good if I was steady but I didnt really have to consider cost back then plus fuel was probably around the 70p per litre Thanks Steve :)

as per title, there is a noticeable judder on idle, no smoke or anything and it drives smooth, but when idling its shaking the car, not violently, but enough to notice? just that and a power steering pipe left to sort out for my old man, and he can take ownership of the car once i hear back from the insurance (seem to be taking their time on that one) faulty injector maybe?

  19. Hi guys, yesterday had a pretty heavy session of using my Z32 TT on a private runway for testing purposes for a company, basically I was taking the car at very high speeds and braking hard before the end of the runway and turning around, doing this a few times. well the question is, after a while the brakes felt shit, felt spongey like if there was air in the system, at one point almost went of the runway but luckily the runway was very wide so managed to do a high speed U-Turn(didn't think it was possible lol) anyways, I checked the brakes after they seemed fine, and after I let the car cool off and made my way back home the brakes were fine, so I'm gues…

Hi all, Can anyone tell me how /where the outer sill is attached at the top? Is it simply a case of cutting the out sill away / off to get at the middle and inner sill for repair? LOL- Not that there's much left of the outer sill anyway, but just wondered. Cheers :)
