Washed then polished the zed yesterday, painstakingly working my way round the car, starring with the bumper, finally got it done and stood back to admire my work just to find bird crap all over my bonnet! Got the bucket back out, I swear the bird was sat on the roof laughing at me! Got all finished again!! Then this morning bird s**t again all over my bonnet! Sure it was the same bird! Can I just note that no other car on my street appears to be affected!! P**sed me right off.

I feel like a poof for even asking but do you reckon 20" wheels is plain silly? They are 19" front and 20" rear bbs lm to be fitted to a family station wagon limousine model lwb. I think 20" is possibly ott as I don't deal class a drugs, own a rap record label or have relations with the Russian mafia?

Im going to have a go at fitting the gauges I bought from Craig However Just had a read through the technical forum, when I click onto any of the links it gives me the unknown error. Could anybody supply me a working link to a how to section fro fitting boost, temp and oil pressure gauges? I want to ensure Im cutting / splicing into the right areas..

Hi, Im in the process of preping my Zed for big and better things, ive already taken the spoiler off but was wondering how to remove both rear and front bumpers.

Just swapped the rooted motor out of sarahs old ZX, still having an idle problem misses and pops, drops down to 800rpm slutters sometimes down to 500 then picks back up to 1000 and idles perfect for 10 seconds, then does it all over again, i had exact same problem with old motor, the new motor is good goes well just idles like shit, i have swapped the AFM PTU ECU TPS Idle air intake valve. there is a unit next to idle air valve a square diaphram unit linked between the idle valve and centre of the balance pipe, nothing seems to change regardless of this being plugged in or not. what is its purpose? Modifications to drivetrain are HKS pod, single exit 4 inch exhaust 2.5 do…

got it up and running today ... after the rebuild and just been to London and back ... and got my heat mag too :) had two problems on the way the MAF plug decided to pop out and i flooded it on the way back the only other thing concerning me is the steering column / rod is very close-touching the down pipe to the point when i turn left the engine push's against it a little

Evening chaps, Just been out for a quick drive and noticed that a few bits around the general steering wheel area aren't working... Cruise control doesnt appear to work Windscreen washer jets dont work Headlights - side lights/dip beam works fine, but main beam doesnt stay on - you have to hold the stalk to keep it on The car came with a Momo steering wheel fitted and not the stock one... could these problems be due to an incorrect Boss being used? OR is it more likely to be something else? Any advice please? Cheers Alex

had a bit of a brown trouser moment with the zed today. left work and started to head home, and noticed the oil pressure gauge suddenly went to 0... :blink:... threw it onto the curb and shut the engine down thinking, im losing oil or something, and found nothing wrong??? i think i read somewhere its pretty common for the pressure sender to fail. can anyone confirm this? or is there a fuse?

Put these bulbs in the new side lights.. They are very blue, are they legal? they were sent with the bulb holders so you would assume so.. but they are blue..

Hi All, Another stupid question.. im starting to fit my gauges on the dash. wheres the best place to feed the cables and the pipe for the boost gauge from the engine to the centre console? Its the dash mounted 3 gauge im fitting..

Audio guidance please, i plan to change out my current stereo and would like a flip out screen type, it would need to double as a satnav as well as a dvd player , can anybody in the know make some reccomendations for me pls many thanks sayers

Well its coming to the end of summer and I thought i might aswell start on the Zed if I want it to look good for next summer. If I do some of the easy work myself it will save on cost when it goes in the garage so I have made a start on removing the rear spoiler which was simple enough as i plan on installing a lower skin spoiler (which has just been ordered) . The usual rust where the brake light was but wondering what is best to use for cleaning the silicone used etc... do not mind if it damages paintwork as it will be re done. The next job will be to check for any rust behind the bumpers and check the sills then onto soundproofing anything else sp…

got around to doing this at last bloody hell the bolts on the manifold were tight and one sheared off never mind hard bits done with the help of a jack and roller trolley to take the weight of the exhaust Guys do I blank the aiv pipes on the engine I have removed the flexi rubber to the exhaust could not see it on any faq Anyway japspeed front decat and mongoose twin rears its the nuts power flow rear if anybody wants it cheers guys

As title, had a 30 min or so outage, the usual " explorer cannot find...." tried connecting via my phone also so not on on my home router either, reset router anyhow and no go, could connect to anywhere else but not 300.co.uk wierd? anyhow just tried again and like magic all working. Jeff TT

i need to get the zed some new rubber, i've still got stock alloys (because i like them lol) so 225/50/16 all round. what tyres have people got? and whats your opinion on them? im thinking of toyo T1R's but have heard they have a weak side wall, so may get R1R's instead, i need fast road / 1x 20min track session(trax) tyre. lol
