well the radiator finally gave up today, and peed water everywhere, out of 5 zeds only one has been kind to me lol

Just had a look at my ecu and saw this. Can someone shed light on it for me please? looks aftermarket but I don't know for sure

As you will have noticed my Zed has been in the For sale section a little while now. I havent advertised elsewhere as my heart really isnt in the sale. however, If I were to advertise elsewhere, what sort of money should I be looking for? I have noticed a few on here for considerably more than mine, and other than paint work, there is no way any could be better (no offence intended to other sellers) What should I be asking for the car in its current condition, allowing for bodywork, its incredibly reliable and used daily. Hi everyone, Just fitted some UK front belts to my JDM, all fitted ok with the B pillar nuts and Spacers on the bolts, however I have a problem!!!!!!!!! The belts won't pull out when I want them too, they both are 'locked off'. Not sure where to go with this as I was told they were working fine. Any help please guys as I had to remove my Jap belts for the spacing washers. Cheers

Sorry to bother you guys again so soon, I just want to iron out all tiny bit of issues on my Z so here are a few question I have. - Sometimes on idle when you tap the accelerator very tiny bit, the rev drops for a split second and goes back up again, this happens occasionally. - After I upgraded to the S2 PTU, the car was running fine for on idle for maybe 5 mins before shutting off itself, started back up fine - this only happened once. - Following from my point above, I have experienced the car cutting out sometimes and then second time starting it will absolutley stink of petrol(pure raw petrol) I couldn't find any leaks, car cranks just didn't fire up…

Long shot but maybe someone will know... Got a chance of buying some coilovers only problem is there of an R34 Skyline. Dose anyone know weather these will fit a Zed or not?

Hi guys not been about much been busy, That said my car will be on the road by christmas. only taken five years. My question is : The tyre size i have is 235 / 40 zr18 at front and 265 / 35 zr at the rear. can i go bigger at the rear or will it afect the drive? dont think ill go lower than 35 profile but not sure also think using falkin is it 525s not sure. Any ideas welcome

What's the best way of smoothing off the bumpy bit on the standard bumpers the bit at the bottom? Is it a case of just rubbing it down?

I have just noticed that the zed i was asked to look at about a month ago by another member has been put up for sale again. had a bit of bad luck there few weeks ago,coming home from driftfest in galway,lost the car on a bad corner in hevey rain and hit a stone wall,cars a complete rite off but no one hurt. heres the results

just a message to thank zedwizz :thumbup: for helping me out with some metal fabrication the old pipe was no good the clamp kept slipping off when tightened but zedwizz came to me rescue and fab'd a new longer pipe and took all the dents out just got to get it powdercoated now thanks again mate :thumbup1: dan.:biggrin:

it seems that my starting problem is just getting worse and worse with every day!!! usually it stalls once after starting when cold, then runs fine on the second start. but as the time goes by its just stalling more and more! this morning it stalled 4 times before deciding to run properly but absolutely stunk of petrol all the way to work. the zeds holiday to the car doctor next week can't come fast enough!!!

this is a little Q , please, to those MOT testers out there or those who have made this mod. Assume the lenses are clear and the bulbs are lower watt than std on the front fogs (at the bottom of the bumper, you know the ones) .....is there a reason why I cannot take the wire off the fog light switch and re-attach to the running lights switch so they work in tandem with the side lights/ low beam. The result would obv be ON at 1st click giving four front lights , ON at 2nd click giving four front lights, OFF when high beam is selected. Well I decided to splash out on my £500 zx with some rear lights and centre piece as mine was cracked and boyched up by the previous owner with superglue:huh: I tell you what though what a difference it makes, thanks to Markderby and Murf for supplying parts:clap:

Basically I was replacing my S1 PTU with the S2 everything went alright except that I didn't bother putting 2 bottom bolt/screws when I put the PTU on, the 2 bolts on the top I felt were more than enough to secure the PTU well. anyways I started the car, car started fine but I could hear stupidly loud screeching sound, and when I say loud I mean REALLY LOUD!, I couldn't even get near the engine bay to investigate. After further investigation I found out its the 'Driver side timing belt cover' somehow fouling and making the noise, the noise eventually eased up but was still loud enough to annoy I took the PTU off again and this time tried bolting al…

I've been searching for a nice set of 3 piece split rims for a good while now. I have a set in mind. New they are £4k plus so I've been keeping my eye on Japanese auctions. Anyway, every set that comes up has some level of damage. There are a set for sale at the mo. they have minor corrosion, scratches and kerbing. One has a very small dent. So.... Can anyone recommend anybody who can restore these wheels? I want them in 'as new' condition but I don't want to import them to find that they can't be restored. Even with the damage, they are pretty damn expensive. Thanks

In 2009 I completed a full rebuild of my UK 300ZX - engine, respray, interior etc. Unfortunately since then it has been sorned and sat in the garage. The one and only job I didn't attend to was the brakes and they were terrible to the extent it failed the brake bias part of the MOT test. Need help. I think my twin turbos need replacing but im not 100% sure. My turbo guage says its pushing between 0.2 and 0.4 bar. Can someone tell me how i can test to see if turbos need replacing. Thanks
