I’ve taken off my fan to remove the recirculating valves and any pipe work for cleaning and found heavy deposits of oil around the power steering cooler pipes behind the valve. I did have low PS oil when I brought the car but topped it up and haven’t noticed a drop in fluid levels.

Wonder if anyone can help here... Just trying to fit the S2 seats I've bought from Ian this morning. Managed to get all of them in with no issues apart from the passenger side front. My previous passenger seat wasn't electric however I knew there was a connector underneath so I presumed you could fit the electric passenger side, connect it and have no issues however, the wire connector is completely different. Is there any way around this?

Evening all, After a year getting my car back together and before its maiden voyage, the clutch is behaving strange!! when the engine is OFF, the car will select gear no problem. When the engine is ON, the clutch goes super loose and i cant get into gear (the pedal does not get stuck to the floor btw). All fluid levels are ok. Car has been sitting for several months. Any help would be much appreciated, was hoping to go for a drive tomorrow

I was in to visit my customer today and spotted this UK zed on the ramps. Always a pleasure to help out with a zed so i nipped home to get my conzult. Few issues but no error codes showing on conzult as far as i can see. Couldn't get her up to temperature even after 15 minutes so i think you have a stuck open temperature stat. Found a fuel leak near the FPR which i'm sure Kevin can sort. Disconnected left side pcv valve which has an after market hose on it - reconnected. Fair amount of smoke coming out both tails pipes so worth swapping out the pcv valves ? We can hear a thudding noise when turning to the right - needs further investig…

Hi all. I am looking to change the wheels on my '94 Jap import. I believe fittings may be different for Jap import. Please could I ask for advice on sizes, fittings I need in order to get some. Would love to fit some 18" dished 5 spoke I've seen on line. Ad says they fit 300zx but not sure if that includes Import models. Thanks in advance.

A titanium key that is. Full set of locks complete with titanium key. Also have another grand worth of new parts to fit including door seals with a few other goodies. A new pair of keys to be cut too so I'll be back up to a rare 3 key zed.

Hi guys I’ve seen a few power steering pots looking like new. Is draining the power steering fluid relatively simple? How have you got the new finish? Is there much to worry about when it comes to refilling the system? Same sort of questions for the HICA unit. Obviously it’s not painted, how would I go about getting this removed and refurbished? Cheers Chris.

What do you guys reckon would be the value of the car considering the engine is as good as they say? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F312762130789

After selling my 300 five years ago to fund a Jaguar XKR , I'm back in the club and back in a shorty TT targa. The jag, as beautiful as she is just didn't cut the mustard as a drivers car. Like being a passenger in the drivers seat. I've managed to get hold of an immaculate unmolested silver 96 swb with only 62k miles. Its good to be back

After removing the air ducts from my car, in preparation for a good clean, I was left thinking that I must have missed something as they looked really ineffective. I took a look at the drawing of the system and it really does look pointless. Does the air ducting really just “draw air in” from the top of the front quarter panel? If I’m using a cone filter is there any point in retaining the ducting? Cheers, Chris.

So to help me list what parts go where I need to know the names of things. This way I can bag everything separately and label accordingly, making the rebuild a whole lot easier. My first part is this water bottle? And this bracket? Thanks for your help.

Hi guys I thought that while I’m busy cleaning up the front of my car I’d have a look at reinstalling the headlight washers. Personally I love the look of them. Has anyone got a drawing of how they are installed and a list of parts I will need? The only clue that I think where my plumbing should start is a blocked hose coming off the washer tank. Cheers, Chris.

Good evening all, With my insurance renewal looming I thought I'd do the usual rounds of phone calls and price comparison sites. However, given my past experience of insurance companies and market values, I'm keen to insure with a more bespoke company with an agreed valuation. Question is, how do I calculate how much my car is worth? Now I have an idea of what it would cost to replace the car, however if anyone else can shed some light on how they determined the value of their zed then I'd the input. Thanks

With all the poor quality master brake cylinders out there today ..... does anyone have any data, or experience, with some of the better top quality master brake cylinder manufacturers (Bendix, Wagner, ACDelco, Centrix, Cardone, Raybestos, etc.)? I have been looking, for quite a while, for a replacement master brake cylinder for my 1990 2+2 300ZX (Non-Turbo). Since Nabco Nissan no longer manufactures a OE master brake cylinder (which I would purchase in a heart-beat), I have been on a quest to find the absolute best quality replacement master cylinder .... one that will last many tears without breaking down. I have heard horror stories from far too many …
