Just this weekend i meet Simon GT from cheshire, nice to meet you chap, He was down Norwich doing stuff. i bought a electric fan of him, cheers bud, the fan i bought was the electric fan that sits there infront of the aircon rad, so assuming it blows air and not pulls air was thinking of wiring this up to a switch on its own and also straping it to the cars rad. one to save me buying a maga expensive electric fan that dosnt do the job. dont want to get rid of the fiscous fan, just nice to have the option should i need it if bombing around in our summer months/ sorry days. question one if im extreamly careful i should be able to mount this onto the cars rad with some rub…

has anyone on here had a set of these lights or has anyone on here had a set apart. it looks like to me that they dont have a rear reflector stuck on the back, and it just looks like a flat lens . where our old ones have that reflector sitting there glude in the middle and the lens has a slightly raised moulded lip in it? cheers

Johnyboy is deserving of a large round of applause (and drinks!) as he's been backwards and forwards to mine a number of times while I've been finishing off his interior for him... he's never ever late (lol) and he's always smiley and jovial. :) Even though the issues were out of either his or my control, he's never grumbled about the travelling at all. And he also took my balance bar away and returned all chromed and shiny! So "thank you, mate" - you're a true credit to both this club and humanity in general!

Hi all - hopefully a simple question! I am aware that the Fuel ECU in an NA and TT is different (2 stages of pump activity vs 3, more fuel etc). So, my question is this - if I install an NA ECU that has been fitted with a TT chip (from z1) to my TT, will the Fuel ECU and ECU play nicely and the pump run correctly? I think the answer should be yes - but my engine is not revving properly and sound like its being fuel starved. Im trying to rule out the obvious stuff (like fitting a different ECU!) as I investigate further... Cheers! M

Yet again I am being plagued by a dodgy viscous fan that squeaks and groans whenever I start the car before I eventually get the whoosh as it starts too spin. I've put a new correct sized jap import drive belt from MJP and have had it checked and adjusted twice but it still does it so it's not the belt. Can I just take the fkn thing off and chuck it in the bin (after giving it the good news with a lump hammer) and replace it with an electric one?

Well the rain finally stopped enough on Friday for me to take the zed to work but still have not opened the taps up full yet as the roads are still very greasy but ive given it enough to know that the work Lee Dent has done on my engine and other upgrades have transformed the car and you guys were right a 300zx with fully operational turbos and no boost leaks is a very scary beast indeed. The Blitz EBC that lee installed is working great and I have 3 settings to suit various boost scenarios but for now im running the 14.3 psi one which is lively to say the least. Well I thought I would post a few pics so here she is in the sun at work I thought I would post a fe…

Here's a funny one. Ignition off, Light switch off. press the driving light switch, (3rd button down on right hand pod) lighting system behaves as if i have just turned the light switch on ??? i cant remember from my last Zed if this is "de rigueur" or bad wiring. Any comments. Rich

Hello Zedders, Anyone won a battle with their interior creaks and rattles? Mine seem to be more from the rear end of the Z and things just sound lose from a few places. Got meisters on and ride is harsh and I feel everything the car goes over. Going to look into loosening the suspension up a little but for interior, I'm getting ideas in my head to bother with stripping the whole interior and sticking some kinda foam for padding behind every panel and get everything tightly fitted on. Also getting to a point where I want to hear as less as possible from outside. Just read up on window rattles as I have that too. Anyone done such thing? Any ideas what stuff would…

Morning All. Just a few little jobs to go before MOT. Not an MOT issue but it's been annoying me for years. (Just searched and found an old post of mine from 2003 about it!) When I turn the wipers off, either from intermittent or main wipe they park at random places across screen. There seems to be no pattern to where they stop and usually take three or four attempts to park them properly. Help, It's driving me crazy! :)

has anyone on here had there center light panel done? buy done i mean that everyone seems to have a nice rear 99 spec rear tail lights looking nice and white and then you you have a look at the center panel they always just look to clear and dont match the rears. id aske anyone on here if, does there reverse light match the other lights ? im guessing a big fat NO . but thanks for bringing it to my attention. Oh please your all welcome. something eles to do whilst your cars looked away for the winter months. happy days

  21. These are for someone on here, I picked them up from the couriers on Tuesday and here they are just before I packed them All the 3 pieces were or are in very good condition and well worth the expense of conversion, sure he'll be pleased . As you can see supplied with amber bulbs and EL invertor to light up the 300ZX. I like to think I do a good thorough job even getting rid of the wax in the lettering on the reflectors . To this :thumbup1:. Even making sure all 3 tail units have these rubbers glued in place on the underside, nearly always some are missing .

  22. As above, bottom one is dripping but top wont bleed, tried to pressurise it by blowing down where fliud goes but pushing pedal doing nothing...any advice please? Thanks
