Well here we go again,what started life as a rusty patch around a penny in size turned into this:-( Amazing what lies beneath,and to be fair targra drains are clear. Now engine is running time to tackle the body work ready for respray and decals ,,company names of course,300 recycling on one side and safer surfacing on the other.

Hi peeps. Having massive trouble fitting this auto window closer. Wiring diagram is so vague on Nissan's side and on alarms side. Been here hours now with multimeter and still cannot find the window switch for either side. Can somebody help please. All I can see is the motor wires are blue and green. I don't need to go into the door to wire this on the passenger side. I have the driver's door card off only. It's a Hawk HA-64U window closer unit. Thanks.

Hey guys, Thought I would post this 300zx - Wondering if these are simple fixes in the terms of a ZX? Found the add on Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/nissan-300zx-twin-turbo/2059700?isexperiment=true - Think its rather cheap but what do you guys think? Will it need much money spent on it to get it straight? Was thinking I could get some black leather seats or bucket seats... to deal with that issue but dont know what fits atm. In general please offer your advice...

As some of you would have seen on another thread I treated myself to a new 300zx this weekend. It's a very late model, series 6 1999 model in midnight purple :drool: I took a huge gamble with the car buying it blind off eBay with a description identical to one a few years back and terrible photos. It was previously in the club and owned by forum member Craig David (Tim) who was the first UK owner. He took great care of the car but unfortunately it was passed around an Albanian family after that and with numerous trips to Albania and back and seemingly never been cleaned it had been neglected and was grimey and slimey and generally un-cared for. Long shot... I'm going to be ordering some new mats soon. The ones I want can only be bought in a full set of LWB ones. But obviously having a Slicky I don't require the rear mats. Total cost inc posting for the set is just shy of £60. I would offset some of the cost by selling someone here the rears for £20 inc postage.

Does the rear heater eliment in the rear window share the same fuse as the nearside lecy window?

Well my car is gonna be back with me soon and since it's gonna come back a few different colours I'm going to have a go at wrapping the car. anyway my question is im going to be getting a veilside ec1 front bumper what im wondering is will it go if it's just the front on its own or will I need to go the whole way and get side skirts and rear bumper to? also im not looking for other front bumper suggestions lol

my tagrgas are both leaking. i was speaking to garry wilson one day about it and he suggested using peanut butter on them. has anyone tried this? well i took his advice and bought some, only thing is i bought the crunchy one :hammer: lol.

Just got a new expansion tank for my 300 and it's quite dirty as you can see from the picture. I have tried cleaning it with washing up liquid and warm water and soaking it but didn't really work then tried washing powder and warm water and letting it soak overnight lifted some of the dirt and grime but still could be better so I’m asking if any of you know any little tips or trick's to get it looking like new?

Just wondered if anyone knows what these injectors are? Was told they were 550cc when I bought the car they have different plugs soldered on

We had our first mini mini mini meet of the year , i meet up with Steve61 from Rehpham/ norfolk, we met in the Mc Ds and had some youngsters came over asking what the cars were and could they take some pics, Its nice to get some positive feedback from the young youth of today. steves got a very nice 96 man tt shortie. and mine 90 man tt uk. hello, got a bit of a odd noise When the car is running I get a chattering/ticking noise, linked with the engine revs. I can`t hear the sound when i`m looking over the engine or from the rear of the car. It seems loudest on the driver side. Hi folks, I spotted a small blot of oil under the very front of the car this morning - it had run forwards along the under tray before dripping onto the garage floor. It appears to be from the little two-core oil cooler in front of all the other radiators; some of the cooling fins have clearly rusted away and, I suspect, a small hole has formed in one of the cores. The oil is clean, red/pink in colour - so would the 'cooler be for the auto transmission or for the power steering fluid? Also, does anybody have a good 'cooler for sale please:wink: Richard:cool:

Anyone know where I can get 2 replacement bonnet rubber bump stops - the little rubber bungs that "screw" into the front vaalance just behind the head lights? Also, 02 sensors - what's the best place to get a pair? Cheers!

Hi I have a NA and and have it for the past 6 years, this morning I started it and it fired first time as usual but cut out after 5 seconds. When I tried to restart, nothing, except for the engine turning over really quickly. I haven't had a chance to look at it but having similar problems with other cars I'm thinking cam belt issues. The cam belt was replaced, with tensioners and water pump 4 years ago and the car has only done 10000 miles since then. It was only replaced due to a bolt working loose from a pulley so decided to have the lot replaced. the mechanic said I was lucky as the bottom crankshaft pulley was missing it's woodruff key at the time of the w…

Hey, So noticed the powersteering fluid was low and topped whilst the mrs turned the wheel only to find a nice puddle under the car. Looks like the pipe that runs underneath to the pump, so wondering wheres the best place to get a new one? thanks

Ok my car is going to body shop soon and i have a few options on the look i'm wanting i'm not sticking with the OEM look so here goes I have full Twinz Kit to stick on but all so i have a 95 style spoiler/tailgate so thought Q's is do you guys think it will look right with the upper roof spoiler along with 95 if anyone is good with Photoshop .. can ya do a Mock up with the items fitted to Red car please :) All so i'm putting one some extended archs about 2>3" on rear and 1>2" on front not quit as large as these pics .. but more on the lines of the bottom

Anyone ever seen this spoiler on a zed? I quite like it, a bit too pricey though especially with shipping.
