Has anyone had a big order off Z1 motorsports? Have you then been charged for import duty. I’ve seen quite a bit I want to buy and had worked out very cheap, but trying to get an idea of if I will pay import duty and roughly what it will be on $820 of goods. It’s not huge parts lights, boost pipe kit, rad pipe kit. Also any recommendations for an induction kit?

Missing our Club get togethers, I came across these three videos from the FUJI Speedway in Japan taken last December when a large number of 300ZXs turned up together for a meet with (for me) the star of the day the IMSA "75" 300ZX all under a lovely clear blue sky with Mount Fuji in the backgound! The first video shows off the cars whilst the second video (skip to 10:36 if you like) and third video shows "75" opened up to see inside the rear section of the car and then started up (turn up the volume for those). Great to see the iconic car close up - what a great day that must have been!

For those who store their cars for the winter and longer, what procedures do you follow? A change in my circumstances has meant I've needed to take my Z off the road for the foreseeable. I am particularly interested in whether letting the car idle once a month is a good idea for our cars in particular. I was planning to leave mine idling for 30 minutes + with a few rev ups towards the end. As for other things, I have a dehumidifier in my garage to keep moisture under control and have over inflated the tyres to try and keep flat spots away.

Hi guys and gals, greetings from Sunny and stinking bloody hot Brisbane Queensland Australia. I have a 1993 300zx Convertible, and i am having an issue with working out how to go about replacing a broken cable. The cable is the fuel door actuator cable, it has a broken piece of plastic which has caused it to stop working properly. One of the issues is Nissan Australia will not touch " imports " funny seeing how every Nissan they sell is bloody well imported, so i can't get help off them and the fact there are bugger all " Verts " in Aussie. So i am struggling to get parts or help. Is anyone selling said cable, and have any idea do i need to remove…

Hi All Does anyone have a Part No. for either the filter/sump gasket kit or alternatively the two individual parts ? My gearbox has started playing up and my first thought is to service it and replace the oil. If it's shot then I'll be going down the conversion route I think. Many thanks

So for the past week the car hasn't been giving out any heat, Its been off the road since beginning of October due to failing its MOT. I finally got a pass and started driving it again to find it wont blow hot air. This may have been a longer problem as I wouldn't have noticed it during the summer, it was definatly warm last winter. Using the service manual (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=125) I found the sensors 52 & 55 have open circuits leading me to diagnostic 6 & 12. I decided to start at 6 and got stuck, (http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=ha&slide=142) I cant seem to find where the senso…

Hi guys Ive got the plenum off my car at the moment to replace the injectors, I’m going for the Nismo 740cc. Now my harness is in a really poor state and really could do with replacing. Obviously I’m going to go with the “95 harness but I don’t know if it’s a job that’s beyond me. It looks reasonable accessible now, has anyone got any experience with changing these at home. I know Jimmer can do it with the engine in but can us mortals manage it? Have we got a guide anywhere? Ive already got a late CAS unit to go in and I can buy the S2 PTU when I do pull the trigger. Is there anything else to consider? Cheers, Chris.

Two years ago I paid him £6k to build me a wide bodied 300zx with off road desert spec, I wanted to take it to the deserts of Spain to blast it. Anyway, Dasstech is no more and I cannot find him. I wont go into the details, but essentially, I'd like to find him again to see if he will do the right thing and build me the car I paid for. I saved for ages to be able to have the money to build that car. Before anyone writes back and tells me I'm a mug for giving anyone money up front, believe me I know I've been a mug, just he seemed really passionate about the project anyway. If any of you know him, please reach out to him for me. I'm not trying to get my money ba…

Just received my order from CPZ two new fog light lenses and top and bottom oem radiator hoses. After 27 years I think new hoses would be a good thing and the fog light will be brighter.
