I have been stripping down the Zed and want to make sure I have all the ECU's. The one I am not sure about is the Air Con / air flow ECU, where would that one be hiding ?

What have people got (with pics)? I'm thinking of going for 70% drop glass and rear quarters with 50% rear screen. I currently have limo black rear screen which I'm not a fan of. I also have limo black rear quarters but I don't like the contrast between them and the drop glass and think they would look better with a matching tint. Discuss.

Well the sad day has finally come and my Zed will be leaving me tonight to go to someone that can afford to give her the love she deserves. I will be back in a Zed at some point but with trying to raise the deposit for a mortgage may not be for a year or two:crying: I will be taking her out for one last blast round some nice country roads after I've had my dinner though. I feel like I've died a little inside, god help me when I see the new owner driving her away.

If this has been asked before please gforgive me but I am a Newbie to the forum. Can anyone help.:helpsmilie: While my car was undergoing new injectors I got the Z mechanic to swap over the low beam headlight bulbs to xenon ones replacing the stock bulbs. Really wished I hadn't as the light emission is diabolical! - like driving on side lights. I have been advised that I should try E46 with eom 4300k d2s bulbs these are usually fitted to BMW's. Now,.... I am a complete moron when it comes to bulbs/electrics {and a few other things too it must be said} but apparantly the cooler {blue-er} the light, the less light it actually throws, putting it in simple terms. But …

Just drove up and back this afternoon to get my Zed off Jeff, after he put me a one piece prop on, deleted the hicas and a full service. What a difference!! I can't believe how different the car is with the prop. The car feels brand new. Only problem I had was it pi##ed it down with rain all the way back to Andover. Thanks a lot Jeff!, running nice bud!!! Just the brakes now lol

May I take the opportunity to thank both these guys . Managed to get a full manual conversion from JaiKai (gearbox is absolutely great ) I originally learnt through the forum that Jaikai's manual conversion was at Lee Dents in Shrewsbury so I thought I would be a little cheeky and ask Lee if he would do the conversion for me. (I am not a great mechanic and don't have much space at the moment) Managed to get it over to Lee at LA Autos Just after my birthday to get the bits fitted . I also chose to get the decat down pipes from Japspeed for the 300zx.co.uk members price so thought it would be an ideal time to do this with the transmission out . Lee went …

Cant really do a search for this as its throwing up completely the wrong results every time i search, so time for an explanation, (seems that this year is the year for problems to arise on my zed) Hard to explain this so ill try my best, the steering wheel its self shifts left to right, only by around 1/4 an inch, ive narrowed it down to 2 metal bushes, either side of the main shaft, directly behind the interior panel under the steering wheel, seems as though my steering wheel is no longer sitting in them correctly, ive undone the bolts to try and see if i can adjust the fitments, but if the steering wheel is sitting where it can not move, i cant get the bushes to li…

hi guys, most of the time my auto box changes gear with no issues, smooth and sweet. However, first to second almost gives me whip lash because of the vicious "clunk". Is this normal... (I hope not) can anything be done about it, Cheers Rich Sent from my Lumia 900 using Tapatalk

Ok, so, I put the AC fan from my 92 NA into my 90 TT shell. The NA fan looks better, plus I sheered a bolt on the TT one...hense why I'm using the NA fan, rather than the TT one. Anyway, went to connect it today, and it has a different plug / socket, with two wires, whilst the TT one has three - NA Fan - TT Fan - I'm tempted to snip the plugs, and wire it, just ignore the green wire, but does anyone know why there is a third green wire for the TT fan? Cheers.

Hi guys I'm a noob on here having recently become the owner of a 1994 UK spec TT Manual. To be fair the car was in a bit of a state when I got hold of it but the plan is to slowly bring it back to life. It had started to be stripped for parts so I've reinstalled the interior and done the usual maintenance like sparks, cleaning all the connectors, new fuel filter and checked ECU for codes but getting the 55 code so all good. When I start it up if will fire but idle really rough before cutting out. I've checked for boost leaks etc and nothing. I tried disconnecting the MAF and car idled perfectly but wouldn't rev past 3k. Fitted a new MAF but the problem…

Hi Guys, not that i'm thinking of doing it, (yet), but how difficult/easy is it to transplant a N/A engine from one zed to another, any special tools needed etc.. i assume you will need a engine hoist as a must... Cheers Rich
