Guess some of you have gone through this so, would like to get your opinion on the best way to convert... I notice the Z centre has 2 options available: New dials at £130 (£40 fitting) Converter/Delimiter at £85 (£30 fitting) Which is the best method & why. Any cheaper places? Can the converter be fitted easily by myself? Exactly what does the delimiter do? Help appreciated... ------------------

Hmm, some bugger harrassed the Z over the weekend - tried to screwdriver the door handle off, then tried to screwdriver the quarterlight out, then stuck his screwdriver through the quarterlight in frustration. I don't know what he was trying to achieve - there's no stereo, and the car was on the driveway right outside the bedroom window, so I would have heard the alarm. The only thing the quarterlight would have given him access to is my magic tree, which he didn't bother with... :/ Anyway, it's a SWB import, and now I need new quarterlight glass & trim (and "mouldings"? Or is this what they call trim? God, I know nothing). From a previous post by sedgewort…

Is one of the clauses of the insurance that it has to be garaged at night? I just enquired and thats what they said. Is it the same for every one else? If so what do you do? Our garage has no chance of putting my Z in. Most garages round here have no chance of putting any car in. Stuart

I dont know if this has been posted before. If Yes then Ignore I've been thinking that it would be a good idea to have a 300zx.co.uk calendar with the best Z's or even all the Z's in this forum. And the money raised from such an action can be given as help to the forum. What u guys think?

Hi All, Can anyone reccommend a good mechanic/shop in West London/Middlesex/M4/M40. I need all my belts changing (I have the belts from my last Z, but wrote it off the day before the were due to be fitted by Nissan) The belts I have are for a 1992 car, but my new Z is a 1991 - any difference? I would also like to change plugs/oil/clean throttle bodies/TPS etc. any maybe flush AT? Depends on cost - I'm NOT loaded! Anyone know of anyone who is 1. competent and 2. REASONABLY priced. Cheers Neil

Some bas*ard thieving shits decided to attempt to break in to my Zed early this morning. Thing is, the rocks they were planning on chucking through the window obviously weren't good enough, so they've peeled back the door skin around the lock Thing is, they didnt even take anything, which makes me feel even worse, but the boot was open which makes me think its someone that heard I was planning a big install, but didn't know none of it was in yet - they didn't even take the headunit which i had stupidly left the faceplate on overnight (never again), or the front components!! So I need a new passenger door, if anyone can help, any colour but preferably blac…

Hi, Brain was whirring over tonight, and just had a thought with all the problems on the forum with detonation. Is the fuel pump really up to the requirements, it seems most of us modify everything else on the cars apart from the fuel pump. Is maybe a 10 year old pump really up to the spec to pumping fuel to a tuned up Z? Just a novice mechanic with insomnia! Ideas on a postcard! Mark

Anyone got them - I know scoops has them from when he bought the car. I reckon they look cool on a Z. How much does it cost to do ? What is done exactly ? Is it reversible? Where is the best place to buy it ? Who thinks it looks cool ? Do you have to be a drug dealer to get it done ? Can you do it yourself ? Any technical explanations of how it works ? What exactly is it called ? Tinted ? Smoked ?

Who want the USA troops to visit Iraq ? I do. Should have done it 11/12 yrs ago tho'. In fact, the West should take over the whole of the Middle East and take control of their oil because they're a bunch of fanatical, amoral loonies. You can't trust an Arab. Bring on WW3 and watch the Arabs get their ass kicked on Pay-per-view TV. [there's been a distinct lack of provocative topics lately !]
