Okay... tesco's car park, Northampton, 11:10pm... finished a spot of shopping walking back to my car... in full view of pretty much everybody some little **** (estimated age about 16) and a much older guy (late 30's) are standing in front of my car... the older bloke just has his hands on his hips.. the 16yr old has a screwdriver and is attempting to remove my front indicator cluster from the front spoiler... they'd got the damn thing hanging out as well.. I shouted "oi" and started pegging it towards them, they run off.. thankfully without my lights!!! My Z is in the dealers at the mo and the mechanic who deals with my baby all the time "thinks" that there is a very very slight big end "rattle" when dropping the revs from @ (I think) 3000. If I go for an engine rebuild to cure this plus a few mods who/where does anyone recommend, preferably a dedicated ZX garage like grasshopper but open to any ideas..... Please bear in mind that me & the Z are in Cornwall!

Hi Again, Thought I was going to plough straight through a roundabout this AM. Thought I'd left plenty of time for braking but after the initial grab, the brakes just faded to nothing - no matter how hard I pushed, ended up with both feet on the brake pedal and only just made it :-( Is this most likely down to sh*t pads, fluid, brake lines or air in the pipes - probably a combination...? Cheers!! RobH

Hi All, Having some fun on the way into work with a BMW 530 this morning I managed to eject a huge amount of fuel. Turned out the guy was coming to my place of work and he pointed it out - he said I'd lost about 2 litres while cornering on a mini roundabout... The tank was 3/4 full and the fuel seems to have escaped via the overflow. This might explain why my car spins so easily in the wet - fuel on the tyres (?) Does anybody else suffer from this 'undocumented feature' or do I have a problem??? Cheers RobH

About 4 weeks ago 3 little scrots decided to break into my workshop and help themselves to £8k worth of gear. I have now managed to get the names and addresses of the little ****s who did it aswell as the tosser selling it. So, do i call the boys in and go round and give them the hiding of a lifetime or accept the loss and be sencible thinking of my Mrs and the fact they don`t have to be Ironside to find out where i live. The gear is all insured so that`s not a problem, it is the principle that these shits can help themselves. I have thought about leaving it 6 months then going in so they don`t know where it`s come from. Need help making the decision as my bl…

http://www.modmycar.com/ Thought some of you guys may be interested in this site, if you can pass it onto people in the industry to have themselves listed there as well it would be very handy. It is a site run by one of my clients, only been up a few weeks but uptake is looking promising.

You've seen these in the general forum, believe me in the flesh even nicer the main purpose is to ensure all cold air is further directed towards the rad, rather than shooting upwards as it presently does, then of course it looks absolutely fantastic, the pic was taken side on because of the reflection from the Mirror finish stainless,All cutting is done bt laser too to be accurate. price around £54.00 delivered, just waiting confirmation from fabricator. Not many made in this first batch, so let me know guys. cheers smithy
