I have had what I think is a great idea :) My front grill is silvery metal painted black. It has obviously gone silver again and any painted metal will do the same. What if I added a touch of class (by "I", obviously I mean Darren) by using something like this instead. Please discuss, I don't want it to be a 'feature' just a pleasant surprise if anyone inspects it, a nice touch, something to make a petrol-head dip their neck in a car park, like when you spot an intercooler winking at you from inside the mouth of an mx5.

I bought a set of front track rods and ends from the zcentre last week. I went to fit them this morning and they don't have enough scope on them to the the wheel to line up as before. Even at the shortest they'll go. The front of the tyre points inwards. I'm thinking of taking the female threaded part of the rod end into work and making it shorter on the lathe or removing some of the threads from the track rod. Anyone ever had this issue and how did you fix it?

I have one of these somewhere from when I smoothed my bumper. I kind of regretted it after due to its rare JDM goodness. Obviously it would only be of any use to someone that has the option fitted already. Perhaps they have a mast that doesn't work or have always wondered what that button was for in the cab, but have had a bumper replacement/smooth. How rare are these and is there any value in it? Basically, is it worth me trying to find it lol

Hello. I've just purchased a FMIC with pipe work from a member on here. I'm very happy with it and installed it yesterday. During browsing the web last night I noticed a few posts in the Australian forum saying that using these front intercoolers blocks air getting to the radiator and can cause overheating and its recommended that aftermarket smic's are best fitted. Is this anything to worry about? Does anyone run a z32 with FMIC on? And do they have or had any problems? I do have a bonnet vent and vented nose panel which will allow more air to circulate.

Ok so i'm finally ready to tell my short story and put up my photo's of my wounded car been really depressed ever since the incident especially as wasn't my fault, It was about 2 ish weeks ago now and an early sat morning and quite wet a flash shower I had just come over a railway bridge single lane round a tight left bend in second started to accelerate and out of nowhere met a focus hurtling towards me middle of the road bearing in mind this is a back road not very wide and a slight bank to left and a drop to train tracks I instinctively swerved to miss the oncoming car clipped side I think front wheels dug in to the grass verge and car started to slide hit verge went a…

What are the symptoms of the clutch going / gone in the Zed? I have a feeling my clutch has gone in the Zed. I went to the gym without issue. Parked up and when I came back to the car, it started fine, but it would not engage first gear. The clutch pedal was really light. Turned the engine off and the gear was able to engage first, but when I started her up, the car lurched forward (as if the clutch was already engaged). This is without pressing the pedals. After a few attempts I gave up and pushed the car back into a parking space. Since it was in a public car park which I had to pay for I had to get it towed to a garage where is it currently waiting for diagnosis. …

hi again everyone so my left rear tailight was not working and was told this was down to the black box sensor hanging off the loom so got another one plugged it in and it worked again... for all of 30 seconds then went off i unplugged the black box to see if if was a dodgy connection and caught a wiff of burning smell on the connectors (the drivers side rear light still worked the whole time even with the burning smell) so obvioiusly i checked for a short couldnt find one and then checked the bulbs and they were fine so im abit confused to why it is not working surley if there was a short it would trip out the whole off the box and none off the lights would work but the…

Hi Guys, As you may kniow from my previous post i drove back from Luton and when i got home the rear wheel was held on by 2 studs as 3 of them had sheared off. I checked the front and one of the studs must have previously sheared off as it was not rattling around in the centrecap. Due to my total lack of knowledge and lack of mechanical skills, I've tried calling mobile mechanics and they have all said they have not done that job on one of these cars and do not know what is involved? Do they bash out? Will you need heat? Will it need to be a total strip down job? Anyone know how hard it is to do these? Is it something that is relatively easy or a total m…

My car failed it's MOT on rust, I went elsewhere and it failed again. I had always planned to do a full on, 'glass out' respray at Bodymech probably next summer but can't really afford it at the minute. The car is out of MOT and it is here... Insurance is up in 2 weeks, I am skinto because I just got the mechanical refresh done (K-Sports, Clutch, Cooling) This was because I could only drive it very gingerly as it was, the brakes were crap and the clutch was slipping. But now, it is knackered. I can afford the insurance I planned for that, but any big repair and we are into tins of beans and "please Mr bank manager..." I feel awful, I feel l…

Hi guys decided to fix this pesky issue. Regardless of the temperature set my car ALWAYS blows hot air, even when the blowers are off hot air radiates into the cabin, its fine in winter but on a hot day it gets a bit annoying. It's almost as if there is a valve that is broken so the heater matrix is constantly being supplied with hot coolant from the engine, is that possible? my Ac compressor and rad etc is all deleted but theres no reason it shouldn't be able to just blow cool air if you see what I mean, like a non AC equipped car. Where do I start?
