im thinking of buying a induction kit but im clueless about which one to go for iv narrowed it down to 2 either the blitz or the stillen high flow intake has anyone else got these and what experiences have you had with them or are there any other i should consider iv been told the stillen has a high recorded bhp increase on them and where is the best place to buy them from im situated in london i also dont mind mail ordering internationally aslong as i get a good deal Fas (stop the bitching)

I'm looking for a chrome "Z" badge, to go on my (modified) tailgate panel, but not one of the round bonnet badges that the Z centre sell, I just want a chrome "Z" with no circle around it. I don't even know if anyone makes one... Somebone must know where I can get one.....

I have seen the buy guide, and it mentioned that trying to avoid to buy the automatic z32 before 90, because it has overheating problem and "Z's with over 60 - 70K miles is in danger of failed turbos/seals - if they have been well looked after with regular servicing and good quality oil the turbos and seal can last to over 120K." Now, I have got one 90's auto z32, which runs 120000km already, it is imported in the uk in 2002, I worried that mine one will have the above problem (especially overheating), can anyone tell me what should I do if the problem occurs? and how can I check that is the problem occurs already? Am having a pair installed in the next few days and was wondering what boost I can run without having to mess about with the intercoolers, pistons etc. I'll probably upgrade these later, but I need to sort the ECU and boost first. Is it best to stick with a JWT ECU and boost control upgrade to complement the larger turbos or should I be considering something else? At the end of the day I wanna try to achieve a good spool up, the turbos reaching max efficiency at mid to upper range of engine speed. Any advice very much appreciated.

Is optimax better than regular unleaded when used in the z? I have been told that it is better if you are running at higher boost levels (stops pinking) . I dont mind spending the extra if it will benefit the car. Any ideas? Ste.

I changed my pcv valves yesterday (70,000 klm), and on taking them off I found oil in them and oil in the blow by pipe? also the also you could blow through the valve both ways. Is this normal?? thanks Jim.:confused:

Hi, I am looking for a first 300zx, not modded or anything- as I have never had one before. Is there anyone that knows of the best service that can check out a car like this before purchase. I have not got fantastic car knowledge and need some help choosing one that is not duff. Is there anyone here that would look one over for a fee, in the Midlands? I hope I havn't got too many backs up. Going to tell me to go buy a micra? Anyway, hope someone can point me in the right direction.

The car has just started to pink lo down on the revs in 1st 2nd!! any ideas ps still have probs with ABS if any body got any fresh thoughts:confused: :confused: :confused:

what oil is recomended in a non turbo import manual box. how much does it hold. does anyone use slick50 in theres

gonna do away with the cats on non turbo import, but not sure what the wiring is that is connected to them also where do there join on downpipes or are they part of it thyere is also a pipe that is attached to the downpipes. i am thinking emissions here or what can they be done away with. also the back tyres are wearing on inside ,any ideas

I just came from Kwik Fit, I went to have the front tracking done, his chart list a UK 300zx having toe -out (no listing for import): the 300zx manual on cd (from Zcenter) list it as 0 - 2 mm TOE IN. Which is it ? Mine is an import, 1992 non turbo. Thanks John

My newley aquired 1992 N/A 399zx import seams to have vibration felt in the seat back, worse I think around 60 mph. seams a bit more than my old MR2. The engine is very smooth, no vibration or juddering from the steering wheel. Is this normal for a 300zx ? Thanks John

There's a strange loud clicking sound like a snapping plastic sound (that's best I can describe it) coming from either the air con control panel or behind the centre console (not sure).It's quite loud. It does about 5 clicks in about 2 seconds usually, sometimes 4. It did it once or twice when I first got it but today it was doing it near enough all the time, sometimes stopping for a while to lul me into thinking it had gone, only to return & see how mad it could get me. Strange occurance when I pulled up to my house for a spot of lunch.......... Hunger satisfied I started up the Z & thought crackin day better go topless! Put the tops in the boot, got back in and was about to drive away when she turned herself off!! On trying to start up again, all of the dash lights come on (including the 'hot cat' light, possibly for the first time?) but absolutely nothing happens! No clicking, whirring, turning over or anything, absolutely zilch! my mates just bought some chrome 17" alloys for his zed. the wheels catch the calipers :( where can we get some wheel spacers to cure this? its got to be ones with extended nuts, not just the universal discs halfords sell. any help with this appreciated. thanks.

the joint in the small rubber gaiter that comes out of the HICAS system (i think?) just to the left of the centre of the page has gone on my drivers side. you can get about half an inch of movement in it, and therefore in the wheel as well. explains why my car felt like it was going to skip off the road everytime i hit a pot hole!:D does any one know how much this part is and where i could get it from? cheers chaps!:D

Do I have uprated downpipes or are they all two into one. I looked at my downpipes when fitting cat replacement pipes and they have two outlets on the turbo side one for the wastegate and one for the exhaust. Is that normal or are they uprated ? All help greatly appreciated ! Olly.

Me Clutch started slipping, due to power I think as it was fairly new !!! I have bought a Jim Wolf Technology 700 bhp friction plate. Do you think I could use this with a standard Nissan cover or would I need a Jim Wolf Technology uprated one, I have tried e-mailing JWT but get no reply ! All helkp greatly appreciated. Olly.

I really want to place the window pillar trim, and I tried to contact Z-centre by email and phone, but they don't reply me, so can anyone tell me where I can get the rubber trim from?

Have had me rear shockers and front tie rod bushes done and the old thunder is handling much better now but I still think there is to much body roll, especially during rapid weight transfers, like coming off roundabouts, etc. Reckon that one of Lukes poly bush sets would sort me out or should I be looking at ball joints first? Any help appeciated.
