Going to work in the old girl today, and after a couple of mile I noticed that the little green light for the indicator wasn't coming on when I turned left & right. I stopped the car, put the indicators on, got out, and found that the actual indicators weren't working either. I checked the hazard lights, but they worked fine. I just wondered if anyone had seen this before (perhaps its common??) Might it just be a fuse, or is that unlikely given that the hazards are ok?

Hi, Andy Duff has a plenum for me but we have a slight problem on how to get it down! If there is anyone going up to the land of warm beer, and travelling to the land of cold shandy (london), can you do me a favour and drag the plenum down for us!

I don't suppose anyone has a clue what goes wrong with these things? At first I though it would have just had a bulb/bulbs in there but it appears to have what must be a flourescent tube instead as there's a transformer which must drive it  Anyone got any ideas? I tried to get to the tube but I was afraid of breaking the perspex front to the panel. Shaun

A bit of a strange one... I couldn't get my car started the other night after cleaning some connectors and running a diagnostic. After trying all the usual (checking connectors, ECU, etc etc), it still wouldn't start! After looking at a few threads, I saw someone tried turning the screw on the ECU clockwise then straight back. Amazingly, IT WORKED!! Any ideas why? - does an immobiliser prevent the ECU switching back to normal mode? Finally, when it did run again, it's not firing on all cylinders  Could this be a result of the PTU packing up?? I've checked connections on the coil packs etc, and they seem fine, although they are pretty fragile…

After a lot of consideration I have come to the conclusion that buying a Normally Aspirated ZX is the way for me to go. I love the car for the looks and you can only go so fast! I am only 21 as well so Ive got to think about the insurance side of things too. So Im after a little bit of advice please guys and girls? Is there importation companies that you can go to and give them the specification of car you want? So that you tell him if you are looking for leather seats, 2+2 seat configuration and stuff like that? Does anyone else have any tips that I should take in to consideration? Thanks guys. Mitch.

Today after booting down a M road. I noticed when I had stopped the car, that I could smell quite a heavy smell of Oil. Is this quite common after giving it a good boot?. The car does not appear to be eating oil and no obvious signs of oil leakage!.... Cheers.

I’ve got leather seats that look like they have been dyed or coated in some sort of aftermarket colour restorer by the previous owner to make them look more black. But now that stuff if coming off in certain patches and other areas won't come off despite cleaning. Anybody know what it is? Does anybody know of anything that will remove it? I've done a search on previous posts and found this stuff http://www.liquidleather.com anybody used it before to remove this “stuff” Yours hoping  Mark :(

Hi All I am thinking of doing a 5 stud conversion on my S13 200sx and fit some standard Z32 wheels. My question is what are the different types of standard alloys? (Pics would be great) :) Also what are the sizes of the wheel i.e. 225x50x16. Also I have heard that this can change from UK to Jap spec is that true? Thanks for all your help Dan.
