hey guy,s im looking to buy a set of PCV VALVES + HOSES AND ECU AND BOOST UPGRADES. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST THE BEST PLACE TO BUY THESE? DOES ANYONE HAVE THE NO FOR se nissan engineering? CHEERS

Whats the differance between a SE chip and a stock UK one? I got a SE one and was looking at the code and it appears to be the same as the stock one apart from the rev limit, thats set to 7400rpm and the speed limiter thats set to about 290 odd mph. No will this chip be ok if i up the boost with a boost controler, or will i need another chip, was tod that this chip should be ok for about 1 bar, but the fuel map and timing map seem to be the same as a stock chip. Can anyone help please?

Had a look, and the most promising post about trolley jack points seemed a bit vague. Is there a 'Proper' place to jack it up using a trolley? My car has an indentation where a jack has been used. Where can I jack it up safely, without causing any damage? Also, there's a bit where the underseal has been kind of scraped off. Should I get more underseal and just fix that part? Rich

...........At the back of the engine on the drivers side, right in the corner.......... I have an odd 'clicking noise' coming from there, which effects the idle........ I did notice the noise was there when I pressed the accelerator very slightly and when I let go...... ....when started up from cold the clicking is intermitent and causes the Z to idle from 1500 then goes down to 1000 as it warms up then it starts to click and causes the idle to go upto 2000rpm until I drive for a bout 2 minutes then it stops, it's driving me mad....... As I said it's coming from the grey box as mentioned OR one of the connectors there........ HELP!! Anyone go…

All, my handbrake questions continue - after having adjusted the star wheels the handbrake is still out of balance on the drivers side being far too weak - I'm now thinking it needs a new brake cable - first - how much is one and second how hard is it to fit one? and third - is thare any adjustment for the balance of the cable apart from at the brake handle as this wont adjust any more.... I have a 93 UK manual TT. Currently at speeds over 30 the car vibrates (peeking between 40 and 50). I have had the tyre balance checked. I have replaced one of the rear steering rack arms but the garage tells me that the other has play in it. Could this cause the excessive vibration? What other things can cause vibration? (I believe it is coming from the back as the vibration does not seem to be concentrated through the steering wheel). Thanks for any help

Hi, The arches and back light panel on my Paul Bailey wide arch kit is showing some signs of "sinking". Now that winter is around the corner I'm gonna do something about replacing/rebuilding my engine. Can anyone recommend any good garages that could remove & completely rebuild engine + replace all pipes etc in engine bay whilst engine is out, + know what they're doing + not cost an arm & a maindealers leg!!! in labour?????? I was from a friend in the Uk about the chance to buy a 300ZX fairlady through different UK importers in Japan, they sell the cars everyday from Japanese auctions, models from 1995 and up even to 1999, they will ship the car to southhampton. I actually live in Sweden and I am a little afraid of getting ripped with this option.They said to me that the cars go from grade 1 to 4 and that I can get a very nice deal on them But I am afraid that what if the car has some problems and then I would have to go from sweden to Uk to battle with them? When the revs are between 2500 and 3000 or thereabouts I get a sort of highish frequency whistle when I press the throttle. Backing off on the throttle stops it immediatley. Boost guage is right on the minimum so I don't think that I have a vacuum leak Any ideas

Sounds straightforward i know but i've just bought a CD changer and i want it to fit perfectly somewhere in the car and can't get it exactly to fit,i could screw it to the plastic covers somewhere but it doesn't feel that secure. Anyone any ideas or pictures i can have a look at with it fitted,it's a 10 disc changer......

All of a sudden my car has stopped over heating and I dont know why. Usually driving down a motorway about 70/80 would cause the temp to get over 100C which didnt fill me with confidence. A few days ago I was doing something to my car and I disconnected the battery for over 24 hours, so the ECU was reset, driving today on the motorway between 70/80 when its 27C outside and the temperature never went over 85C. Driving round normal roads and the temp dropped to 60ish. What could have happened to make the temp drop so much? Stuart

Bought some champion plugs RC8PYP. They were listed as a plug for the 300zx TT. Since I have read a few threads saying that these are s***e. Any truth in this before I go and fit them?. Also paid £50 for them so figured they were a decent plug, but then you dont all ways get what you pay for eh!.

Hi Guys, Just a quick question: Had to brake rather suddenly and quite hard to dodge some snotty kid running after his football crossing the road - ABS works great by the way. I wasn't going all that fast so the car stopped dead in its tracks, all was ok for a second or two and then the rpms dropped to about 250~300 and nearly stalled the car! Looks like the ECU kicked in and raised the revs to normal level and all is fine. However, I can replicate this "near stalling" experience every time I brake hard. Under normal braking or hard cornering the car behaves perfectly normal. Could this potentially be a PCV valve problem? I've never experienced it before no…

I take it everyone uses their Z's as second cars then... I can get insurance but to use everyday is going to cost me!!! I don't really want to have 2 cars just for me... I need 2 normally. One for the family (an estate that my wife uses) one for me... Biggest problem is going to by the mileage I going to be doing. I really like the thought of have a powerful car that I can enjoy the driving, but I don't want to be kicked in the b*lls for doing it... Tell me your thoughts guys... Ben. P.S. Strange but true. As seems common the car has run at 7psi from the day I picked her up. ECU check gave code 34 and a relocated Det Sensor fix that. Still code 55 and still 7psi. Have checked all the pipes around the battery etc all fine... Any other ideas chaps... She goes in for an overhaul soon, time belt, water pump etc..so if I can not sort by then will ask Phil at C & S wood to sort...
