Just wondered if anyone can tell me if the boost guage tells the boost from both turbos combined? For example, if the guage says 8psi, does that mean that both turbos are kicking out 8psi or does it mean that each turbo is pushin 4psi each?

My fairlady is loose around the bottom. I mean, The logo transfer on the back is peeling a little around the bottom. How would anyone suggest I re-apply it without messing up the plastic finish? I seem to remember another post somewhere about someone getting a new one- is this rubbish? I like it. I bet it's something else loads of people would be quite happy to get rid of. I like it!

I am removing the engine for a rebuild but cant decide how to pick it up as not having any hook points,not sure the best route! Anybody out there found a good method?

what do i need to do to read ecu codes on the ecu i understand there are various flashing lites on the unit if there is a fault but once i uncover the ecu what do i expect to see!! cheers Dave:confused:

I need a new drivers side rear light cluster. I have a 91 Japanese NA- will UK light clusters match if I was to get a 'second hand' one from a UK car, or are there differences? It should be easy to fit, shouldn't it? Just disconnect old one and reconnect the new, taking off the plastic lining panel in the boot? Anyone have one lying around that is in decent condition? Rich

This is getting to be a habit :D When i bought the car it already had traction control fitted...great It is a racelogic one, even better, i have all the installation instructions and setup disc etc but i dont know what the settings on the traction are? I have spoken to racelogic and they say it cant be one of theirs because theirs only has 6 settings and had always looked like this now mine looks like this and it has 10 settings :confused: :confused: I know it works cos i had it on in the rain the other day and floored it and it sh*t me up when it cut out. So does anyone know what it is or is it just an older racelogic model?? …

its been making weird noises ever since I've had my zed:confused: even if I go up slight hill I can't hold it on the clutch cos it makes a horrid loud grinding noise, big hills are a big no no as I have to use my handbrake...... see other thread about that:cry: is it the thrust bearing? (sounds rude to me) or do I need a new clutch or can it be fixed? its starting to piss me off now

Hi all! I am changing front brake pads tomorrow. I think I read if doing this it is best to change the shims as well! Are they easy to get? Like tomorrow! And where from. And whilst here, is the air con belt the same as the fan belt?doh! Or do they just put that on it to lable it? Is this easy to do to. I would imagine its in the web manual can someone tell me the page please.

Whats the differance between a SE chip and a stock UK one? I got a SE one and was looking at the code and it appears to be the same as the stock one apart from the rev limit, thats set to 7400rpm and the speed limiter thats set to about 290 odd mph. No will this chip be ok if i up the boost with a boost controler, or will i need another chip, was tod that this chip should be ok for about 1 bar, but the fuel map and timing map seem to be the same as a stock chip. Can anyone help please?

Had a look, and the most promising post about trolley jack points seemed a bit vague. Is there a 'Proper' place to jack it up using a trolley? My car has an indentation where a jack has been used. Where can I jack it up safely, without causing any damage? Also, there's a bit where the underseal has been kind of scraped off. Should I get more underseal and just fix that part? Rich

...........At the back of the engine on the drivers side, right in the corner.......... I have an odd 'clicking noise' coming from there, which effects the idle........ I did notice the noise was there when I pressed the accelerator very slightly and when I let go...... ....when started up from cold the clicking is intermitent and causes the Z to idle from 1500 then goes down to 1000 as it warms up then it starts to click and causes the idle to go upto 2000rpm until I drive for a bout 2 minutes then it stops, it's driving me mad....... As I said it's coming from the grey box as mentioned OR one of the connectors there........ HELP!! Anyone go…

All, my handbrake questions continue - after having adjusted the star wheels the handbrake is still out of balance on the drivers side being far too weak - I'm now thinking it needs a new brake cable - first - how much is one and second how hard is it to fit one? and third - is thare any adjustment for the balance of the cable apart from at the brake handle as this wont adjust any more.... Thanks.

I have a 93 UK manual TT. Currently at speeds over 30 the car vibrates (peeking between 40 and 50). I have had the tyre balance checked. I have replaced one of the rear steering rack arms but the garage tells me that the other has play in it. Could this cause the excessive vibration? What other things can cause vibration? (I believe it is coming from the back as the vibration does not seem to be concentrated through the steering wheel). Thanks for any help

Hi, The arches and back light panel on my Paul Bailey wide arch kit is showing some signs of "sinking". Now that winter is around the corner I'm gonna do something about replacing/rebuilding my engine. Can anyone recommend any good garages that could remove & completely rebuild engine + replace all pipes etc in engine bay whilst engine is out, + know what they're doing + not cost an arm & a maindealers leg!!! in labour?????? I was from a friend in the Uk about the chance to buy a 300ZX fairlady through different UK importers in Japan, they sell the cars everyday from Japanese auctions, models from 1995 and up even to 1999, they will ship the car to southhampton. I actually live in Sweden and I am a little afraid of getting ripped with this option.They said to me that the cars go from grade 1 to 4 and that I can get a very nice deal on them But I am afraid that what if the car has some problems and then I would have to go from sweden to Uk to battle with them? If I lived in the UK would be different cause I would always be there to go eachday, or when the car has some problems. I would like to…

When the revs are between 2500 and 3000 or thereabouts I get a sort of highish frequency whistle when I press the throttle. Backing off on the throttle stops it immediatley. Boost guage is right on the minimum so I don't think that I have a vacuum leak Any ideas
