Does anyone have a wiring diagram to allow me to run a turbo timer with a toad alarm, also is it possible to have remote starting on it, i know clifford do one with it all in but i dont want a clifford! Can anyone shead any light on this for me before i dive in cheers neil:dance:

Help! I recently bought a UK ZX TT auto - liking the car, BUT it is having problems with stalling that seem to be getting worse. It seems to: Stall on heavy breaking Have an eratic idle which can sometimes lead to a stall and very recently it has stalled at speed - upon accelerating from rest. Each time, I've had no problems getting it started again after the stall. Any suggestions as to what it could be?

When the speedo is converted to MPH (using the cheap method), does the odometer and trip counter continue to rack up the distance in km or does it start using miles?

Occasionally I get the following things happening which I want to fix ;) 1. HICAS light on 2. ABS light on 3. Heavy steering 4. Speedo either drops to 0kph or 180+mph. Then later in the journey everything will sort itself out. The speed sensor was changed (according to service history) last year, but these symptoms point to a fault with it dont they? The problem happens in wet near 100% and occasionally in the dry too (this morning). I've read that the SS is located on the underside of the gearbox - can I access this from underneath using axle stands? I should check the wiring and connections I suppose? Cheers folks Pete

I've asked this before and nobody knew anything... I'd love a rally-style LED display showing what gear the car's in, no point in an auto but I think they look great :cool: Just the simple bright red LED ones, none of the complicated LCD gubbins ;) Anyone know anything about them? Does anyone have any pictures of which hoses to disconnect to fit a hose pipe to so that I can back flush the system? I want to run a flush product throught the system but not if I cant back flush it to make sure I've got it all out.... Ta.

Hi peeps, just want to know if i'm getting the right fuel consumption out of this guzzler, mainly driving on roads of a 50-60 mph speed limit but I go on how many miles I get to tenner, it seems im only getting 50 miles.........is this normal? Hi to all Can you lot help me? I bet you can, here goes I have a budget of approx £5000 to spend on a car. I was looking at Subura WRX's, Ford Cougar V6, but I have seen and fallen for the 300zx. Now will 5k get a reliable car, is the twin turbo a lot dearer to run and what sort of running costs (servicing, MPG, spares prices etc) should i expect. was out on short run today and luckily was just going round a roundabout not very fast but engine just stalled, lost power steering etc, tried to start it again and didnt want any of it. after a few minutes it started again so managed to get into nearby carpark. then completely stalled again and wouldnt start. again tried few times and then it started and drove a few times round carpark before cutting out again, by then rescue services turned up, looked at it blankly and carried it home. dont want to risk it packing up on the way to getting it looked at properly, also started up fine as soon as i got it home, anyone had similar problems or know what i can chec…

Im thinking about starting to make a slam panel for my 300zx. Only trouble is i need the dimensions or a cardboard template of one. If i am succesfull i will go into production of them. I understand that they are in the region of £80 to buy ?! But im going to try and knock them out for about 30 or so. Please could some kind person, send me the dimensions, or better still a cardboard template of the slam panel ? I cant offer much in return but a huge discount on a new slam panel!! What should the idle speed of a UK spec TT auto be? I cleaned the throttle bodies a couple of weeks ago, then disconnected the ecu for over 1/2 hour to reset it, now the idle speed has risen to 1000rpm in neutral and about 950rpm in drive. I have driven about 1500 miles since the clean-out, mixing motorway and B road thrashing on hols in the Yorkshire Moors yet it still hasn't settled down. I've tried wiggling the TPS connector but it does nothing. Also, could the TPS be faulty as the car sometimes comes close to stalling when braking hard, say, at a roundabout?? The revs also drop temporarily to 500 upon selecting reverse?? Any suggestions please…

Hi All, Can anyone recommend a couple of things for me...? 1. What gauges should I get, oil temp, boost, water temp, etc... 2. Where can I get a hose set from? Samco (something like that). 3. a) Is it as essential, as it seems, to have a seperate oil cooler for my auto gearbox? b) How do I sort this out as I have a UK car, isn't this cooler intergrated into the main rad? Although I have posted this question on the oil cooler before and I know I can search for bits of information on it (although it isn't that clear to me... Just wondering if someone can give me some advice. I have a 1990 non-turbo 300 auto (import). When I quickly remove my foot from the accelerator I can hear a metallic "clunk". I am fairly sure this is coming from the back of the car. Anyone have any ideas what this could be or has someone had the same problem (if so, how much was it to repair?)

i am moding my z to give a look of a race type car , is there any mechanics and business owners that want to advertise on my car , maybe a company name or a web address mainly motor companys but anything considerd. the idear is that just say your a mechanic, i put your mane all over my car and you give me a slightly cheaper rate just say instead of £33 per hour maybe £30 per hour plus you will be getting advertisement not just mechanics any body the car will be the only street going one of its type

Bought my greddy e-manage system and UR Pulley set while i was there so will be getting them fitted in the next few weeks and will be able to turn the boost up!
