Has anyone ever used one of these? Or is it not really worth it considering you can use different jet sizes? Cheers.

Anyone bought an after market cooling fan? Mine's looking really tatty where it impacted with the fan shroud and knackered the edges of it. I was going to get an OEM replacement from Courtesy but then remembered seeing someone with a shiny metal one on here. Is it worth getting a pretty one?! And, if so, does anyone know where to get them. I've done a search on here and nothing obvious came up. Cheers

I phoned my local Nissan Dealer 2 day to give them a chance to get some business off me......i need hand brake shoes for the back of my 300..........but FFS £118 plus VAT.....i was expecting maybee £40.....i am still in shock......but the sad thing is that they would sell them to me for £85 inc VAT with my trade discount.....what a bunch of robbing BAS*****......no wonder dealers get a bad name cause of over inflated prices..... Anyone know where I can get them from and how much. i.e. To replace the standard black ones with white writing. Hence looking for the opposite.

My recently purchased zed had a crap back window defroster, visibility was poor due to tiny blisters, sort of similar to the appearance of orange peel. I had to remove the film by scraping off the film with a razor blade. In doing so a lot of the Nissan defroster element (jap cars have a stuck on defroster) was removed or damaged. Does anyone know if there are any companies that can install a new stuck on defroster that will look good ? or know where I can buy a good one to install myself. It does seem outrageous to replace the back window just because of the defroster. Thanks John

Guys Got to get my crack seal changed, whats the time allowed to change this, any body had it done? what price am i looking at?. Also my erial came out the socket the other day, can it be fixed on the drive or is it shot?, how much are new ones, will i need one?. KenZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. :mad:

Had new turbos fitted 14 mths ago.....(I have turbo timer and breather kit)..turbos failed...sent to manufacturer they have stated that the turbos have been damaged by oil starvation and particle damage..possible left in there when fitted.... The guarentee states 12 mths or 12000 miles....... 1. The turbos where not particle contaminated as I have full faith in the bloke who fitted them.....he has done loads before (300zx) and all his work is quality. 2. If oil starvartion is found the turbos where starved of oil because they blew (particularly drivers side) in spectacular fashion...clouds of blue smoke.....eg the oil.... Looking for leg to stand on...…

yep that old chestnut!!, my sills and rear arches r rotting away on the z does anybody know of a sill repair kit to weld on something!! cheers guys

Anyone know where the ignition coil relay is located ?

I have a leak of some sort - too dark now to look closely. But it is about 3/4 the way back of the car, right in the middle. Any ideas?

hmmmmmm when the car is ticking over there seems to be a noise like a loose zaust plate/baffle but when i turn off engine it seems to be ther like a metal fan noise running on for a sec or 2 :confused: :confused: could this be a turbo prob!!! cheers Dave not on my car but recently purchased uk tt man :)

Took the zed out for a blast with a colleague at lunch and it didn't feel up to its usual.... scariness. Didn't have the Autometer boost gauge plumbed in, and I know it was boosting over stock but it definately wasn't giving me what it should do :confused: V noticeable booting it at low speeds, seemed to take lots longer for the boost level to rise. I've got a boost leak detector but haven't used it yet, I thought it could be a leak, or simply the hot weather - 26oC on the aircon gauge. Cheers Pete

This engine I'm getting ready to put back in has been stood for ages and I'm still waiting for parts. Is it going to do it any harm standing with no oil in it for months on end? Is there anything I should do as it might be a while yet? Chris.

Simple question, I hope!! My handbrake comes almost upto vertical when i pull it on (it works fine) and I just want to adjust it to 3-4clicks. Anyone know how to do it and how easy/hard is it???? Grazie..........:)

Or in fact to anyone who can answer it; Having seen all the questions and answers on the uk rear shock handbrake thingy i was wondering, Ive got a j spec but when i get in it in the morning and reverse off the drive i hear a little wizz of a small motor for maybe a second or so after ive reversed about 5 foot, sounds like some sort of gizmo in the boot area dooing something but ive never known what, sounds similar to what id imagine the shock actuators to sound like though i know i deffo dont have any:confused: It doesent cause me any problems, just wondered what it was!!

The wheels I am probably getting are only available in 8 inch. So its 235/40 on the fronts, but shall I put wider on the rears? Say, 255 maybe? Or just keep the same all round? And while on the subject of tyres, best place for Toyo's? Cheers.

Please I need some help, can anyone tell me if the purple metallic 300ZX normally common color in the Uk? I live in Barcelona Spain and despite the fact that 300zx are not seen everyday in entire Spain, I am thinking about buying it in the Uk and have it ship to Spain, but I wish to have the purple color, wich I think is not sold in the EU, since it was a model after 1995 and Japan stoped productions in eu at that year and kept selling in the UK and USA. Also is there any possibly way to obtain this car in the Uk with a left hand steering wheel? and last question; would you guys suggest me a 2seater? or a 2x2?? thank you from Barcelona Spain!:cool:

I have set my Sub up no problem and it works fine. My question is, where can I thread the live feed that goes to the battery. It is quite a thick cable, about 7mm. I cant see any obvious holes going through the dash to the engine bay.
