hi all just been looking around it seems from what i've found that the uk spec tt is the lowest power of them all??? uk tt man 280bhp@6400rpm 274lb/ft@3600rpm usa tt man 300bhp@6400rpm 283lb/ft@3600rpm usa tt auto 280bhp@6400rpm 286lb/ft@3600rpm jap tt 280bhp@6400rpm 286lb/ft@3600rpm so it seems that we have the lowest power 300 in the world but i do know that the fuels are different in all three countries uk 91-98/99 octane usa 89-97 octane japan 95-101 octane

only me again need to know how you lot get your z pictures published on these pages :slap:

my power steering has become intermittent i have been told it is the sensor on the gearbox whats it like to fix do i need to replace or can it be serviced how much a new one. cheers

can someone tell me how to find the error codes for the climate control cos my heating system aint working right, getting cold air from door vents and warm air from centre vents. not enough heat really, takes about 30 minutes of driving before any reasonable warmth trouble is workplace only 15 minutes away bloody fridge in this weather don't think theres air in system can the climate system be bypassed to blow only hot air

I was about to get in my car and I dropped the key, it landed on my foot and bounced down a drain. I've got the spare key so I can drive it but the key that went down was the nicely shaped '300ZX' one which I really liked. Does anyone know if you can get replacements like the nice '300zx' one? If so, I can stop fishing down the drain with a magnet on a piece of string. As Victor Meldrew would say.. "I don't believe it!" Anyone know if I can get a replacement 'nice' key? :mad:

Since replacing my matrix, every time I start the car, I can hear the coolant filling up the matrix. It does this every time. My question is, should it be doing this? Is it supposed to stay in there or return to the engine/rad once the engine is off? Any ideas? Dom

How do you adjust the headlights, I did a search and got nothing from all the archives, has nobody ever asked this and I am just thick !!! I have tried turning the screws on the back but they just seem to spin and do nothing !!! My passenger beam is pointing at the ground !!! Cheers, Olly.

Does anyone know how much the starter relays are to buy? Are they a main dealer part only? After we managed to get mine out from under the wheel arch, it was sodden and heavily contaminated (what a place to put this particular part!!). Has anyone got one second hand? All help and suggestions accepted...... Chris :confused:

After a drive and when the engine is off i can hear the sound of water dripping. Its sounds as if its dripping onto the exhaust/AIV pipes and evaporates. I have had a quick look under the car and can see that it is coming from a plastic tube coming out of the bulk head. It tends to drip slowly for a about 5 minutes and then stop. I originally thought it was some sort of drainage pipe but after a quick look through the forum it looks as if a heater matrix pipe should be attached to it. The weird thing is the water level does not seem to have dropped, the heater works fine and no wet carpet. It has been like this a few months now, could it have causes any engine damage…

hi all i had a puncture and went to a tyre shop - i was told 210/60/VR360 kind tyres not made anymore - seems like i am gonna have to throw all original alloys + tyres and get a new alloy+tyre set.. ++ speedo will be upside down as well!!! has any one had the same problem ? i dont know what to do.... need some advice pls thanks

I've got a bit of a leak on one of the heater matrix pipes from the engine bay to the back of the matrix - I managed to get a socket onto the screw to tighten it up but I dont think thats done the trick - is is an easy hose to get hold of and is it worth changing the Nissan clips for jubilee clips for better clamping effectiveness?

Does the tt have different coil packs to the n/a ? Cheers John

Got an JWT single pop charger and tried fitting today having some difficulty due to its size (very tight fit) logged on and did a search and found a thread going back to august 2001 can somebody please put me straight :confused: is there some sort of aftermarket splash guards for these type of filters??? (or whats recommended??) where do i (if anywhere) attach the screw at the top middle of the cone?? any help would be appreciated cheers lads :D 1993 UK CAR

Where abouts does the battery ground to ? The reason I am asking is that I am going to replace the cable and wondering what length it is and is it a standard ring terminal on the end that grounds to the chassis. Thanks John

Talking about the engine oil cooler?

anyone fitted one of these to the Zed. Are they easy/cheap? Bit gimmicky because you still gotta use a key for steering lock and ignition on.

Can you guys tell me what clutches the 300 uses, I am trying to source a 240mm PUSH type for my skyline and I had heard that the Non Turbo Z32 has this type-can anyone confirm this? Pete :D

Anyone help??? My Z now has M's (K&N) air intake, Scorpion Zorst and bleed jets (valves, whatever!) I know my Z is not chipped as it shows a standard ECU on conZult software, so I wanted to know if; I needed to get it chipped? or Could I get mine 're-mapped' for the mods I have? Or does anyone have any other idea's?? I just want to be sure that it's running at it's best. Thanks in advance. Matty.

i think my main thrust seal is leaking oil coming between eng/gear box what other seal/job can be done at the same time with the gear box out

Hi fellaz, I want to start using 10/60 fully synthetic oil in my zed. Where can I buy this oil from, which brands do this oil? I am based in Leeds (WY) Cheerz.

and I wish my Z would too. Took this video just to get some opinions really. This is from a warm start (not full temp). Is this ammount of smoke normal and does it look like water/oi or a mixture?. Hi all, Ive been trying to find out what options were available on zx's, i.e. I believe Cruise control isnt standard across the board? Perhaps might be easier to list what the base model hasnt got? I want to make sure that I get the best zx that i can for my money. TIA Adam

I think I can predict the answer to this question, but I'd appreciate your honest views on this. DO I BUY A Z? I've had he idea for a while so I've been looking at this site. The thing I've noticed is that a lot of you have Z's as second cars, or weekend drivers. I currently run a 1990 S13 200SX as my only car (girlfriend doesn't drive so I really depend on it). It's been totally reliable in the 4 years I've had it, only requiring the obvious pad, rotors and struts. It's a bit long in the tooth now, not knackered but tatty. I've got £5K together and before responsibilities overtake me I fancy one go at an outrageous car so the natural step seems an early 30…

Hi Guys Just got a few questions for you people who know what your on about :D Is it worth changing the oil & water pump on the zed if i'm seriously modding it?? I believe the standard fuel pump is good for 600ish bhp is this true or is that another thing i will have to buy :confused: And is it worth putting oversized valves on?? Where can i buy coloured hoses for the engine bay?, and yes they will be yellow like tonys Cant think of anything else just yet Cheers Mike
