Anyone following the thread regarding the central pod size and if it might be big enough to fit a Profec e -01 screen, it isn't! So I'm looking at having a larger pod made to order. Only possible if we gat a number made up together, so is anyone out there interested? Price to be confirmed but in the region of £70 at a guess.

hi guys ive got a jap spec tt AUTO and am looking to remove engine to fit a pair of smithy's t28 hybrid tub's, would it be better to remove engine and gearbox, or split torque converter and just remove engine???? i have noticed a very slight amount of oil weeping from between eng and g-box, would this be the crank main seal starting to leak? is it worth worrying about?? any one like to take bets on how long this is gonna take me?? :hyper:

After hours of mucking about trying to bleed the clutch, I've found by far the best and easiest way to do it. Once I'd got the stuff fitted to the car, it took five minutes to bleed it completely. Anyone want to know how?

Does anyone else have a petrol smell after switching off the engine? Noticed it tonight when i turned her off. also the stearing gets heavy if the cars at idol for more than a couple of minutes.

My front disks & pads need replacing, any idears on what make and type to go for that will stand a better beating than the standard ones? I've been looking at the EBC range of disks and the red stuff pads, any good? thanks :bow:

These were for sale recently on EBAY. I went to get them today but the auction was closed. They seemed quite cheap at the time. Did anyone get them or can they still be bought(I think they were only just over $200) Thanks Roy

Wondering if anyones using these with OEM Shocks. How are they compared to stock springs is there a noticeable difference?? They seemingly lower the car by 0.8 inches. Is this noticeable, dont want to be scraping my new bumber off crap country roads Thanks Roy

I'm interested in exhaust system for my z but I hesitate in my choice. Choice is restrictive for french car on the market (we have only TT 2+2) and many exhaust I find are dedicated to coupes! I find Greedy SP and Apexi megaphone but I can't find any pictures of them mounting on a car. Do you have some pictures please? Could you advice me on these items? Which is the best? Thanks!

I keep getting at least 2 error messages per thread I read. I have a feeling this is due to my firewall at work. I can not turn this off but are there settings within this forum I can change to stop these messages coming up ? I don’t get these problems at home. Line numbers within tht error message vary as well.

help guys , driving along all normal , then little orange check engine light came on and no power along with lots of missfiring and popping and banging from exhausts , any ideas ??? it is very wet at the moment loads of rain about maybe something has got wet ?? i hope !!!! stebbs :( :cry:

Red Import H reg heading into kiddy last night about 5pm, anyone on here? I wasn't in mine though.

Zeds used to be a rare thing in Nuneaton, I only knew of 3 including mine, but now another two have appeared. 1. Red one living on the Longshoot. 2. Grey one with a that followed me down tomkinson and greenmoor road the other morning (by the way you have a headlight out!!!) C'mon own up who are you then. If the one on the longshoot doesnt come forward, i'll have to go stick some 300zx.co.uk stickers on the your car for you!!!

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to tighten all the rocker cover bolts, without removing the plenum. Had a look earlier and could not see all the bolts, so it looks like the plenum has to come off. Seems to be leaking oil from rocker covers and running down back of engine. Or is it likely to be the rear camshaft seals that are leaking. Regards Kevin

Hi, Having eventually got my Zed I am now after sorting out the ICE. I would love to fit get my 12 inch boxed sub in the boot but looking at the depth in there I don't think it will ever go in without it getting in the way of the blind Has anyone got any ideas or examples of the best way to shoe-horn a sub in. I have to bear in mind that I can't just build a smaller box as subs require a certain size box depending on spec etc. Cheers, Justin

Gonna do my 2nd oil change soon, gonna switch from semi-synthetic to fully synthetic, is it worthwhile using a flushing oil at this point? Whats the best f'synthetic oil to use? :confused: :bow: :dance: :duffer:

I currently own a 1989 300 TT, imported in 2001 but presumably it was one of the first on the road - any idea? Anyway, I am looking at getting a couple of things done to the engine, mainly the valve stem oil seals need replaced as I'm blowing a little smoke on idle. Also I am thinking of turning the boost up to 1 bar and believe the standard turbos have ceramic spindles and therefore can't take prolonged use at high pressure. I am looking to get a minor rebuild with the potential of replacing both turbos whilst I am at it with the steel spindled versions. Q1.. Does any one know if you can buy individual upper cam bearings. I have a couple of engines with the right most bank (exhaust) suffering from excessive wear. I have been told that the bearing housings are machined in the factory to match the cams, and the housings are not transferable from one head to another. Say if I replace shell E2 with shell E2 from another head would this be sufficiant to maintain oil pressure?. Q2..If the bearings and the cam are machine matched at Nissan, then what happens if you want to replace a cam?. I know with mains and big ends you simply replace the shells but can some shed any light on this cam query.. The heads are fully stripped…

What could make the clutch go heavy? The change seems to have concided with some prat slamming into the side of me.

Will 265 fit on R33 alloys which are 9" wide? Or am I better off going for 255? Stuart
