So I purchased one of those Consult USP boxes on Ebay with "Nissan-14" on it, downloaded VCP drivers for it from FTDIchip.com. All seemed to work on my Windows 7 laptop, and when plugged in to the 300zx TT. Connected ok (COM 9) and went through all the steps of choosing gauges to display. Everything seemed fine- except for one anomaly. It would not show the speed. I tried both imperial and metric (mph and km/h). My speedometer is working perfectly. Once I started driving with the laptop plugged in, about a mile from my home the power steering suddenly stopped working, and within a minute the HICAS light came on. Hi guys i know you lot dont like these BOMEX mirrors but im having lots of trouble wiring them up to the orginal door mirror loom my car is a non heated door mirror model .I cant make head nor tail of nissans wiring diagram there seems to be hundreds of combintaions tied lots allready has anyone fitted these mirrors on there zed ive searched the web with no luck thanks taff.

Hi guys need help i have a few problems after starting my slicktop after standing for over 2 years when i first got my zed 10 years ago i noticed the electric fan was unplugged and the motor was burnt out .ive fitted a new fan but it runs all the time even with the key out ,also the oil pressure gauge reads zero it never worked that great before i took it of the road can they just pack up ,also what are the like to change get to etc thanks .

Hey guys. Right... what with being a nissan nut for years I have sat in my shed: 1 S14 diff (I believe lsd) 1 R32 gtst diff (lsd) 1 s13 diff (open but welded) 1 s13 diff (??) ratios vary and seem to not be what the internet says. I wanted to use my S13 (open but welded) diff on my Z32 and went to fit it before my last drift day. The crown wheel assembly dropped in no problem and engaged with the input gear but the shaft flanges (so I could use the Z32 shafts) did not fit... no matter what i did. It looks like they are physically a different size. Now these are all R200 diffs, and I know people swap and change between S/R body …

Hi everyone, I have a twin turbo, manual, 1993 300zx. Unfortunately my gear box (manual) is just broke. I was driving one day and suddenly the gear stick just dropped, it would not go in to any gear :( it was totally un-driveable. Would not go in to any gear at all, even reverse. Blocked one lane off (rush hour) for 45 mins untill the recovery truck came and took it to my mechanics. Please see the attached photos for reference. It seems the gear linkage has just snapped off. Some people say it is a common problem, but i cant find a replacement anywhere? This is the part that is broken, its connected to the gear linkage, but its totally snapped off.…

Having a few issues with the gearbox. It's a bit clunky when going into 2nd plus when I need to change down the gear stick will sometimes judder as if it's trying to jump out of gear. I don't know whether to get this box reconditioned or chance buying a used one & hoping its good. Has anyone had a box reconditioned? Was it expensive?

How does this work with the zed's, can you get camber adjustable coilovers or is it on the control arms, sorry if I sound dense, it's only because I am... A bit!!

I have been having pinging that puts my car into safety boost for a while- I will tell you what has been dealt with. I discovered the local Nissan dealer installed completely wrong plugs (PFR5G-11). Put in the right "cold" ones (PFR6B-11B) but that did not solve the detonation problems. I knew I had some serious boost leaks, I got the boost leak tester (with the pressure gauge and the Schrader valve) and was unable to get it to pressurize. Literally the air leaks out as fast as I pump it in. My mechanic smoke-tested, claims he could not find any leaks. I knew this was bs, so I took it to another shop.
