any idea where i can get some boost jets in Hertfordshire area, or are manual boost valves any good and how easy are they to fit

I have cleaned the PTU connectors, the CAS connectors, the TPS connectors and AFM connector, and i've still got a huge missfire, in fact i've proberbly made it worse. This is now really doing my head in, I am desperate to get this to the midlands meet so someone can get a conZult on my Z. It seems all the connections on the coil packs and injectors are loose due to snapped clips, would this have anything to do with it? The main part of the problem was missfiring and struggling to rev by 5000rpm up to 12+ psi, now it's missing on idle and all the way up the rev range. silly question that i've never thought about. I bought my Z in sept and the speedo was converted to MPH its a 300 MPH dash, would the distance on the clock be in MPH too, just having one of thos thic moments :rolleyes:

While im waiting for my broken wheel issue to be decided by my local council. What would be the chances of borrowing ....... Stock: wheels with rubber, discs & calipers !!! Hi guys, Further to my problems with the autobox, I've been advised by the garage repairing it that the cooler is totally blocked. They've tried flushing it out without success. I know there is a known problem with this on imports, but I now have to work out what to do about it. They are offering a replacement cooler fitted for £135 quid (I'm told it's the standard sized item for the UK car.) This is a modification I would have had to do, but is it worth going with this now, or should I try the engine oil cooler upgrade instead? Looking a the z centre site, I see the auto oil uses the old engine oil cooler, whilst the engine oil uses the new cooler when replaced. I…

Does anyone know of a thin, paint-on rubber-to-metal sealant that I can use to seal between the rubber targa seal and the targa itself. Silicone sealant in a tube is just too thick. Thanks John

:( Need help my car does not idle properly even when warm also when in motion with foot on gas alittle it runs fine but when u hit the laughing pedal it starts to go then shuts down untill u ar running about 5 to 10 mph missfireing also backfireing jurking the car about it also says its at full boost :confused:. Checked all the coils they look and work fine also checked oil and water and all conections what i can see. But i have noticed oil around the hose coming from the turbo outlet whitch i gather is very bad but would this make my car run like this?

sussed had no clutch fluid couldn't get into any gear need to know where the master slave cylinder is situated can i access the lines on axle stands as my mate needs to bleed the lines as there is air in them obviously can't move the car and take it to a garage, so doing this on the driveway is the only option I need to tell him by the morning, so we can put my car on stands in our lunch break, finish it off after work how long does it take approximately to get the air out? for future reference I don't understand where all the clutch fluid went At least i know where to top it up now!! Noticed today when the engine was off. When I take my foot of the brake pedal I get a funny metal grinding sound (sounds a little bit like when your engine is cooling down and you get the cracking noise). Sound is quite noticable. Also when coming to a dead stop it feels as if something is moving at the front (this is really hard to explain please bear with me), and kinda feel it through the brake pedal. I am sure this has been getting worse. Cheers

Does anyone else to the DIY leather seat retrim kits that the z-centre do? Z-Toys seems to have vanish from the web. I fancy a nice cream leather interior to bring the interior upto date.

After buying my z Im really happy with it,BUT,only thing I'm personally not to keen on is the colour ( midnight blue ). The cars in perfect nick,and am in 2 minds wether to sell the car and buy another,or get this one painted a few shades lighter metallic blue. I know prospective buyers in the future may not like the fact that its been resprayed a different colour,but that aside,how much do you think it would be for a ' blow over ' ,theres no dents etc on car,but would like door checks done ( obviously ) but not under bonnet/boot etc etc. What would be a reasonable cost all in for a quick rub down,tape up and spray ? For anyone with a dodgy PTU, I think I can now fix them. Tried it on mine today and I'm pretty confident it will work, I'll give it a shot tomorrow night once the glue's dry.

I had a slight light throttle misfire sometimes last few weeks and now I notice the lock up in OD top seems to have stopped working. Any ideas what is most likely to have gone wrong? Thought maybe the tps or its connections.
