Boost Problem

The boost seems to be pritty dodgy, first of all the other might i took the car for a run and i was lucky to get a boost above 0.4, but then the next day it goes back to normal 0.7-0.8. This has happened a coulpe of times. Any ideas?

 

Also whats the highest i can turn the boost up to on a standard engine?

    SOunds like its on safety boost. It activates when the detonation is detected. Saftey boost is also activated when the engine is cold so you dont blow it to shit!
