How much do you chaps pay for servicing? I was quoted around £300 by our nissan dealer here for a full service including all the parts etc. I can get it done cheaper of course using my local mechanics, but i would like a few "nissan" services to get the stamp in the book etc, i feel it will better when i come to sell...unless you guys are going to tell me it means *****cks all, getting the dealer stamp?

Up until recently, my indicators were working great. Now the front indicators are flashing extremely quickly as the rear nearside indicator is not working. Thought it might be the bulb, but I have swapped the bulb for the other side and it still doesn't work. :( Would the fuse for this indicator be on a different circuit and therefore has a fuse blown? HELP???

Just to let everyone know that my move went well and I'm ready to start selling Z parts again, although there maybe short delays in posting bits out as its still a bit chaotic with the house move. Thanks AndyZ

right ill try to describe this one best i can, jap cars come into the uk with klm clock dials, the import guys remove the klm face, put a mph one on and attach a black box to the back of the speedo to calibrate it. The american zeds have mph speedo but only go up to 160mph (ours are 180mph) can we get one of those black calibration box's that attach to the back of the clocks that convert the uk 180mph to 160mph dial face??? the only reason i ask is that i bought some indiglo white face dials from the usa and they look fantastic in the car and are real good quality, the faces are in 160mph (i did know this before ordering but was prepared to ignore th…

The white connector on the photo. It's at the rear LHS of the engine bay. It's not plugged in and very dirty so maybe not been plugged in for a long time. Is it the super-boost Evo-demolishing circuit? Or the connector that stops the irritating final wipe of the windscreen wipers when you turn therm off? Maybe it's the connector that will get my F***ing headlights working?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 300ZX after a long and happy relationship with a 200SX s14a. Which should I be looking for, any common problems? I see quite a few with around 60,000 miles, is there a big service due at this millage? How do they change from one year to another, I've seen some references to Z32, Z33, Z34 etc? Also, an I right in saying they were inly made from '90 to '94 Do the imports differ much from the british cars? Thanks for any help, I know from the 200 that its good to know about all the little niggles can go wrong on a car like this

Hi guys, ok this is my first post on these boards, lets see if you guys can help me. I bought my first 300ZX TT a few weeks ago, its a stunning looking and is very fast of course. But there are several things that are bothering me. 1) I filled the coolant levels up the other day, the filler on the right of the engine bay (thats the coolant right?) and the filler on the left (thats the washer jets?) i only used water on the offchance i got them mixed up, so can someone advise which is which? Anyway Got in my car today, every time i accelerated i heard a gush of water, particularly when i was turning too, i was only doing 20 - 30 mph on average, but i sudde…

On Saturday I started the zed up and I could feel the car missing both on idle and when being driven, this is still happening, what can cause the zed to just start to miss like this. Could it be the leads or the plugs, or anything else? CheerZ

I got two second hand HKS SSQV BOV's, one even with the Japanese instruction leaflet ! but I unfortunatly can't read a word of Japanese  There is an adjustment nut on the back and I'm sure it's meant to be set in some way. Any idea's guys ? I've also been looking at some websites on the fitting and there's a valve of some kind in the vacuum pipe (looks like an 1inch wide flying sourcer). Is this a non-return valve ? IF so should the arrow point towards the BOV or away and where would I purchase such a thing ? Oh so many questions, Who's the BOV King  Cheers

If you get a series 2 PTU, does it fit without any special brackets. Is it just a case of bolting it on and using your existing wiring? John
