I am going to get the auto box oil changed but i am unsure how much oil it will take. How much does it usually cost for the oil? As nissan quoted £180 to do the whole job does this sound expensive  Cheers Eddie

I have just been doing a search on aircon, etc. Found loads of good tips, but I did not know about a fan in the roof. I have not heard mine at all, if it has seized up, what are the consequences? Does the car really need it? Thanks John

Hi all I've fitted US spec front fogs to my UK car, no probs there. I've got the relay with wiring instructions and a nice small switch..... The problem I have is finding a way of running the switch wire inside the car from the engine compartment.... Where do you start as there are very few places that cables go through the bulkhead and they are damn hard to get to? Also where's the best place to locate the switch? I got fed-up looking yesterday so I bought a remote control system for £30  - no need to cut/drill/route etc :o But I could return this if I can use the relay kit. Thanks Richard

My aircon works fine, not icy cold, but eventually cools the car. I was wondering if anyone knows someone who can put the original R12 freon in, I know its banned, but someone may have some left. From what Im told, the new stuff just isnt as good. Its the same problem with fridge freezers too. John

I have spent a few hours looking through the various replies and suggestions, not all of them smart, but none the less answers, and wonder do I remove the cats or not???? If I remove them do I put in a straight throo pipe as a replacement, or put in an other sort of silencer, will it do detrimental harm to the turbo`s, would I be better removing the back boxes instead, or what ??? It is an 89 t/t and pretty bog standard(ish).

Is the only problem with the freely downloadable software, the fact that you cant get hold of the leads to connect to pc. Or are there other differences in the software. The reason I ask is I have being talking to the Snap On rep, and the leads are available from them. Regards Kevin

Hi, I have just taken delivery of a secondhand H pipe but I have noticed that one of the pipe openings at the cat end has a smaller inside diameter. It has some sort of insert in it to reduce the diameter. Is this some sort of restrictor. Any one seen this before I am going to get it fitted lata today and I don't know wheter to try and remove it. Cheeers, Deano

Hi Maybe a silly question but how far or what boost should i expect to see on the stock boost gauge on the dash?? Mine appears to move 3/4 and not reach 7. is this normal for a stock TT??? I ask because some days she seems to fly and be very responsive and others she appears to struggle. Also when cold and idleing at say just over 1000 rpm and i touch the throttle the revs drop 2 - 3 hundred before picking up.. any ideas?? Thanks in advance.. Oh one last question.. Who could i take my car to in essex to have it checked over and advice as to what may need to be done to get her in great shape.? 175

November 02, I decided to buy an uprated Clutch because the standard one was slipping like a bitch! Anyway, at the time, I was organizing a group buy for some nice Z pedals and the guy mentioned that he did clutches so after agreeing on a price,I went for the RPS Street Racer clutch which apparently could take up to 450BHP. :xxx: Therefore, as I was not intending on taking the Z up to that much, it seemed like the ideal choice. However, some of you may have read thread that I posted about me wasting a Megane Turbo, well after that venture, I could not chance gear and ended being stuck up a hill on a set of lights. Anyway, I cut to the chase. After assum…
