Hi Guys Have got a water leak today :( But it looks like its gonna be a bitch to find as I can only see steam! comming up from the area just below the plenium on the passenger side and its from the gap where the first (nearest bumper) spark plug goes, Anybody any ideas as how many pipes there are around there, or a diagram of the water circuit in that area. Any help would be much appreated :bow: probally a loose jubaliee clip cos theres no spay just steam. I dont really want to try to take the plenium off as I may make a compleate balls of it! Does anybody know if i can replace the o2 connectors with spade connectors, or similar? Having loads of grief from the connectors, runs fine one day, then codes 33/53 the next :confused: Has been given the ok on a conzult, then the connectors play up again, once they're cleaned up they're fine for a while. Any suggestions?

I have purchased some standard, Jap spec Z32 calipers (early UK also) to replace my iron ones. Question is: are these going to fit exactly the same as the Iron UK caliper, or will some kind of spacer be needed to move the disk out a bit (as Ive been advised) and if so what size spacer? or to put it another way, Do early UK cars (and Jap spec cars) require a slightly different disk from later UK cars due to the change in caliper from the Alloy (sumitomo Nissan) caliper to the Iron Nissan caliper?

How many litres of paint would it take to re spray a Zed. Lets say with three coats... Cheers

how can you tell how wide your alloys are as i want to put wider rubber on the rear they are 17" CMS alloys fitted in Japan with 235's at the rear std alloys in japan are 8" i think and UK was 8.5 whats the widest i can go on these widths can i just measure the width of the wheel?

hi there guys ok then my zed is smoking blue smoke like a bitch!! new turbos fitted last year and running 13.5 psi also using the turbo technics breather kit!! zed has been in garage for a few months and only allowd to idle for 10 mins at a time!! only noticed the smoke after i fitted new airfilters instead of the se-nissan maxiflow paper filters!! replaced with wopping pair of k&n. after i noticed the smoke i pulled off the inlet hoses and intercooler pipe and they were full of oil!!! the oil had worked its way to the airfilters somehow!! it seems the oil is being drawn from the breathers to the inlet pipe!! i have removed the…

Hi Guys Have any of you used a bluetooth headset in your zed? I have a t610 and use the HBH 65 headset and whenever the car is moving i sound like a Darlek or Norman Collier!! Tried it today in a hire car (Focus) and it was fine. Any ideas on something else i can try as its rather defeats the object if i cannot use it on the move. Sean

Right, not of the Bruce Lee Kind but of the steering wheel kind. Recently ordered a new steering wheel, ere it is; Anyways, not to everyones taste I am sure, but, I have re-done the dial surrounds all chrome effect, and the driver console etc, centre console, right down to the near the arm rest. Also done the door inserts etc. The one i ordered is with the silver but where the blue is it is black leather. Anybody know if there is an equivalent product available elsewhere? Seems like the best of both worlds to me!!

Hi All i need to inspect the C.A.S connector and need to know how to remove as i have removed the 3-10mm bolts and marked previous position but Mine seems to be jammed....i cant turn it either way or pull it out??? is this common they are supposed to be able to be removed or replaced surely....?? Hi Guys, Can anyone help?! Gotta get some new wheels and tyres for my Z, I need to know what’s the max tyre width I can go up to with the standard arches? Is 275/35/10x18” rear’s and 235/40/8.5x18” front’s possible? Much appreciated if someone could let me know what works best with 18” rims!!

'Kay- I've not converted my speedo yet, but I've read various posts about it; I'm aware of the (very sensible!) arguement to swap the speedo resistor rather than plug in a converter box which might confuse the ECU. My question :confused: has anyone out there with the converter box experienced any problems? (Mainly steering/stability and fuelling I s'pose) Answers on a postcard...

As most of you know I'm going to attempt to remove my plenum and swap it this weekend, is there anything else I should consider doing while it's off? (I may have already asked this, sorry if I have....LOL) I'm doing; The PCV hoses Coolant hoses (bypass, a write up would be good!!) Coil pack connectors changed for new Possibly Spark plugs (if THOR can supply in time, as it's short notice!) Fingers crossed that the chromed balance bar turns up, if not it will be done later. Anything else I should look at doing while it's off??? Thanks in advance as always, :D Matty.

Just found a small crack on the top radiator house. When car stopped yesterday she proceded to dump the coolant out over a period of 4 hrs. I topped up with water and the leak stopped. I have the hose ordered for replacement anyway but why would the coolant leak and the water not leak?? Any ideas

The small windows in the back of the car have this nasty purple tint stuff on it, the boot had some tinted stuff on it too but peeled off lovely, this stuff is causing me real grief...anyone know how to get it off without scratching the window to b*ggery?! I tried the stanley knife and it shreds, is this what i should carry on doing and then worry about the glue or could i heat it off somehow? Cheers Rob

Well I've no skin left on my hands and some wicked blood blisters but the new Black Diamond disks and pads are on all the way around. Should have seen the state of the disks I pulled off!!! warped, scored, scraped, rusty, just about everything bad!!! My buddy who helped with the job is convinced the brake system should be bled before I go anywhere as by squishing the calipers open we may have introduced air into the system. Is this right? Also I got Halford dot 5.1 brake fluid as its the best I could lay my hands on, will I regret putting that in? Cheers

Hi I have a cracked track control arm on my Z32 1992 :bow: and have a couple of questions. 1. Where can I get one cheap (new or second hand) 2. I only replaced this 18 months ago does anyone have any reasons why it should have gone so quick. Admittedly it was a second hand one and I replaced the bushes at the same time the bushes were not the same they were heavy duty I think thats what my machinic said not the normal oil filled. Any responces appreciated. Simon

I am ever increasingly thinking about breaking the Z totally but dont have a garage. Has anyone here ever broken a Z on their Driveway and just kept it under a cover? If so, how did you dispose of the shell and how much did it cost?
