Hi Guys Have any of you used a bluetooth headset in your zed? I have a t610 and use the HBH 65 headset and whenever the car is moving i sound like a Darlek or Norman Collier!! Tried it today in a hire car (Focus) and it was fine. Any ideas on something else i can try as its rather defeats the object if i cannot use it on the move. Sean

Recently ordered a new steering wheel, ere it is; Anyways, not to everyones taste I am sure, but, I have re-done the dial surrounds all chrome effect, and the driver console etc, centre console, right down to the near the arm rest. Also done the door inserts etc. The one i ordered is with the silver but where the blue is it is black leather. Anyway's now on to the question :p I ordered a Boss, now the chap I spoke to having only a few braincells advised me after I had stressed about five times, that the Boss he was sending me was for Z32, I told him about the Hicas etc many t…

Found this link via 300zx.org.uk http://www.ess-racing.com/ They used to make a pretty smart manual/auto shifty thing with buttons for the 300, it looks really cool in the video on the site. Anybody know if there is an equivalent product available elsewhere? Seems like the best of both worlds to me!!

Hi Guys, Can anyone help?! Gotta get some new wheels and tyres for my Z, I need to know what’s the max tyre width I can go up to with the standard arches? Is 275/35/10x18” rear’s and 235/40/8.5x18” front’s possible? Much appreciated if someone could let me know what works best with 18” rims!!

'Kay- I've not converted my speedo yet, but I've read various posts about it; I'm aware of the (very sensible!) arguement to swap the speedo resistor rather than plug in a converter box which might confuse the ECU. My question  has anyone out there with the converter box experienced any problems? (Mainly steering/stability and fuelling I s'pose) Answers on a postcard...

As most of you know I'm going to attempt to remove my plenum and swap it this weekend, is there anything else I should consider doing while it's off? (I may have already asked this, sorry if I have....LOL) I'm doing; The PCV hoses Coolant hoses (bypass, a write up would be good!!) Coil pack connectors changed for new Possibly Spark plugs (if THOR can supply in time, as it's short notice!) Fingers crossed that the chromed balance bar turns up, if not it will be done later. Anything else I should look at doing while it's off??? Thanks in advance as always, :D Matty.

Just found a small crack on the top radiator house. When car stopped yesterday she proceded to dump the coolant out over a period of 4 hrs. I topped up with water and the leak stopped. I have the hose ordered for replacement anyway but why would the coolant leak and the water not leak?? Any ideas

I tried the stanley knife and it shreds, is this what i should carry on doing and then worry about the glue or could i heat it off somehow? Cheers Rob

Well I've no skin left on my hands and some wicked blood blisters but the new Black Diamond disks and pads are on all the way around. Should have seen the state of the disks I pulled off!!! warped, scored, scraped, rusty, just about everything bad!!! My buddy who helped with the job is convinced the brake system should be bled before I go anywhere as by squishing the calipers open we may have introduced air into the system. Is this right? Also I got Halford dot 5.1 brake fluid as its the best I could lay my hands on, will I regret putting that in? Cheers

Hi I have a cracked track control arm on my Z32 1992  and have a couple of questions. 1. Where can I get one cheap (new or second hand) 2. I only replaced this 18 months ago does anyone have any reasons why it should have gone so quick. Admittedly it was a second hand one and I replaced the bushes at the same time the bushes were not the same they were heavy duty I think thats what my machinic said not the normal oil filled. Any responces appreciated. Simon

OK, my car has been into a proper auto-gearbox specialist in Leicester for nearly a month. However, after all of the "work" carried out on the car, it's no bloody different. Firstly, when the car has been left for a time it STILL takes a few seconds to properly engage reverse, sometimes delays going into DRIVE also. The guy at the garage has roadtested the car and tells me it's fine!! He apparently found a damaged electrical "conduit" between the gearbox and the ECU (which he repaired) and he carried out a full service including the addition of "trick fluid" to improve the gear changes. If this so-called expert is telling me my gearbox is OK, where do I go …

Just installed my new blitz air filter today and when I came to do it I noticed that the upgraded oil cooler that has been installed on my car is HUGE, looking at the pics on the z centre site it seems about twice the size of the kit they have available. Its come right up to the top of the gap left my removing the standard airbox and is only about 10mm from the end of the cone, its also fitted right at the front, next to the bumper rather than sitting back like the pics on the z centre site. I was slightly worried that the cone would end up sucking up hot air from the radiator, is this something to worry about? I guess my options are leave it as it is or replace…
