does ne1 know where i can get hold of the lambo style rear lights? i desperatly need to change my rear lights!!!!

Hi, i have had my non turbo now for about 6 months and love it apart form the fact that i have got used to the power and want more. I have a straight through decatted exhaust with an apexi air induction kit. What else can i do to gain more responsiveness or out right power. I cannot upgrade to twin turbo (missus would kill me). Silly question - is it feasable to fit turbos to these or are there too many factors to consider as well as price - i know there is no superchip for non turbo but is there an ecu upgrade. All advice much appreciated

Just noticed I have a leak just above the drivers side subframe mounting - water is pissing out a couple of drops per second at idle. What can I do? Looks like maybe a connection at the bottom of the rad? Can't get my hand i there - can I take the rad out? Supposed to be running at the Pod on Friday & Saturday I can't believe my luck :(

Gearbox on a mates zed is making a grinding noise, initially under load in second, then 4th joined the party and now third is starting, is it a new box scenario or is there another possible cause?

Any of you local guys know a good sprayer in the area? :confused: The guy I used to use has closed up and moved out the area. Really want the car resprayed, spoiler fitted, etc. Any ideas???? :hyper:

When I start my Z first thing of a morning, it feels like the power steering is very heavy. If I switch off the ignition and re-start it is fine. There are no warning lights and the PAS fluid looks full. Any ideas? Cheerz Dave

I think my fuel pump has gone as i got metal fragments in a sample of fuel i drained from the inlet end of the fuel filter? And the car only idles and doesnt have any power? Anyone else had the change there fuel pump on a Zed before and What was your symptoms??? :mac1:

Does angone have any pictures of the back of the speedo which shows the calibration pots and which one does what - I need to adjust mine but I'm not touching it unless I know which one does what! Thanks in advance.

What do you recomend for cleaning electrical connections on our Zeds???? The main item I'm bothered about at the mo, is my PTU connections. I've scrapped the green scum off the PTU itself, but cant seem to get at the plug connections.................. So is there some sort of spray cleaner that will do the job for me?................ Obviously the best option is to fit a series two PTU complete with harness, and re-locate it.............. but that might come later. :D TIA :bow:

Wondering what parts to replace, what to upgrade and what to leave alone when rebuilding? I've bitten the bullet and decided to rebuild. I'm not after rebuilding for loads more power, but want to replace anything that is worthwhile replacing whilst the engine is out. So far the list is: Crankshaft - regrinding + new bearings Con Rods - was damaged Turbos - might as well get some new ones. Det sensor Cam Belt Water pump Obviously all the gaskets. What else is worth changing... ideas are: Oil Pump? Pistons? Anything else? And any suggestions on where's cheapest (for the best stuff) would be appreciated? Not after loads more perfroa…

Just a quicky, if you pull more air than the AFM can metre, what is cut, spark or fuel? Cant find it in the manual or a bloody search.

Ok, im at the end of my tether! lol As some of you know, fitted a new motor 2 days before billing, all was running sweet as a nut. Anyhow, while at billing, i saw some bluer silicone vaccum hosing nice and cheap, and as some of what was on already had seen better days, i decided to replace the lot..this is where the fun starts. On the way back from billing, tickover was skyhigh, like 1500+, yet on the way down to billing it was a steady 800ish...also, on the way TO billing, boost was set at 18psi, but on the way back i was struggling to reach 16 :( further symptoms, smells is sometimes rich, then at other times its that metally smell that you can also taste…

On the Courtesy site, they list a different part for Passenger Side and Driver Side Now of course in the US of A the driver sits on the wrong side of the car. Will these O2 sensors be OK for a UK (Japanese) car? TIA - Gio

In the last couple of days I've lost most of my brake fluid. After fitting the R34 calipers and braided brake hoses I seem to be getting a bit of fluid leaking from a couple of the hose joints under pressure. Only seems like the odd drip but it must have got worse over the weekend because on saturday night I got in the car and there was no pedal at all! Never made it to Ten Of The Best :( I've tightened the brake hoses a few times now and it still seems to be happening. Is this common and is there something I should be using to seal the joins?

J***XBL, near Blunsdon (Sainsbury's) 3pm Friday 30th. I was driving an AX(!) with a trailer full of of Momo wheels for my jap spec (courtesy of Gixer). Never see a Zed unless I'm in the AX... Funny that! :duffer:

I've been running 1.0mm boost jets which gives me about 13 - 13.5 psi. Putting in 0.8mm jets gives me 15psi and a little bit of det occasionally. I see it I have 3 options. 1. Purchase another boost controller - Im loathe to do this at mo as last one just broke. 2. Drill out some 1.0mm to 0.9mm with a precision drill and try that. 3. Can I - Put a 1.0mm in onew side and a 0.8mm in the other thus giving the same as having 2 x 0.9mms in - Would the balance bar compensate or would one turbo work harder than the other? Thanks
